On a 2nd thought I thought the rule states that you should ensure you have at least 6 months validity in the country of your residence before applying especially if you are not a Permanent Resident or citizen of such country? Or has your application process passed 6 months?

Another alternative is to renew my UK visa via masters route (already have masters admission in UK) but I have to pay a non refundable deposit of £3,500 for school fees + £150 (iHS fees) + application fee. if I take this route, UKVI would be with my passport for 15 days or I apply for priority (5 days, cost about £500 upwards) or same day visa processing (premium service) which costs about £700. If I decide to take this route and my Canada application gets approved, I would have given UK almost 2M free.

So the question on my mind all week has been , should I pack my load from UK with faith believing I will get the Canada visa or I renew my UK visa with almost 2M?

Even if I apply faith, pack my load and leave UK, I still need to submit my passport when my Canada application is approved. How will I send my passport over from Nigeria to UK and then to VFS and then collect it back (I have to physically collect it or authorise someone to do this)? Canada school resumes sept 4th.

I wish I can take these guys to court, processing time says 1 week from UK, now I am stuck. It is 5 weeks already.

You can submit your passport in Nigeria or send it to UK via DHS from Nigeria and update your address after sending. My friend did the later some years back.

As per whether to renew UK visa it's your call, I know how it feels, if you have submitted medical (not upfront) then it's almost certain.

Yes I used webform and I chose Lagos Nigeria even though I was not sure where it is being processed.

I am thinking of paying my fees and sending the receipt to CIC through Webform. Is that okay?
I’m saying this because my initial application was delayed because of insufficient funds, and when I reapplied I couldn’t pay the fees my course registration portal opens which was 3rd July. Now my sponsor has money in his account and from the gcms the VO wasn’t so sure about the availability of funds for school fees payment. So I want to pay the fees now because the deadline for payment is 25th of August and I was thinking of waiting for the visa to be out before paying.
Any suggestions? Attorneys, Gurus and Elders please I need your recommendations. Thanks

Don't wait you have nothing to lose. After all you are helping them hasten their decision. That's my line of thought and I advised a friend who did it I believe strongly they will call for his passport next week. Just give reasons when you upload bia we webform. It will end in praise.

Yes surprisingly it started between 3 to 5 days of his biometric and it started simultaneously with background check and still in that mode up till now. We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

I helped my friend applied June 22 (online). He did biometric on 25th. But since medical request was not forthcoming I encouraged him to do an upfront medical. He did it on Monday, we uploaded the medical sheet same day. Today I saw an update [/b]"Review of medical results We are reviewing the results of your medical exam"[b]. Hopefully it ends in praise. He called the children's practice today they told him to call back tomorrow evening to confirm if the results had been uploaded from their end. I wrote a short note on reason why he decided to do medical.

I will suggest you reapply but not without a landed document or document that show you have a property in Nigeria. No matter what your explanation is, you need those documents. You have no time anymore the earlier the better.

Biometric done in Paris: 19th July
Refusal message: 6th August

2. Admission letter (MSc Uni of Ottawa) also stating I will be getting CAD$2,400/year
3. International passport with visa stamps
4. SOA (Letter from my bank stating my savings account balance of 8k euros)
5. Supervisor's funding letter stating I will be paid 20k/year
6. Co-sponsor's letter stating he will provide accommodation and miscellaneous expenses

Please i keep getting the message ineligible after applying providing my details on the express entry website even when i have completed the eligibility tests that showed clearly that i am qualified to apply. What could be the problem here because i know i am eligible, my IELTS overrall score is 7.5, i'm 33 yrs and i have almost 10yrs experience but i am still single. Could this be the problem here? Check your years of experience. Ensure that it is at least 1 year continuous experience, even if you have 3 years experience 1 year must be continuous.

All these excitements reminded me of my experience 3 years ago when I became a PR. It is not easy only by God's grace.

Right now I am helping my brother. He is currently a masters student. His CELPIP results released yesterday LRWS - 10, 12 , 8, 7. He tried twice to submit his profile it came back as ineligible even though he is claiming 1 year Canadian RA/TA Experience in addition to NYSC. But today I had to review what he submitted and realized he claimed only 11 months of NYSC excluding camp period instead of 12 months. I told him that most people including me claimed 1 year because I assume that the remaining weeks outside primary assignment can be seen as paid holiday and part of the work. About to submit the profile 3rd time. Fingers crossed hopefully it will go through. He is also claiming pre NYSC teaching experience which is also less than 1 year (another 11 months- not continuous 1 year experience).

His score based on my calculation considering Canadian experience (saving grace because the English score is low) and siblings point is up to 493.

Keep up the good works guys. It will all end in praise.

Please how long does it take to get Biometric instructions, I applied for a friend early this morning no mail yet.

In addition to what others suggest, his tax assessment letter could work to because it bears his address.

hello guys,
I submitted a paper application on april the 30th, and I got a medical request on may the 25th.
However, after conducting my medicals on may the 28th, I haven't heard back from CIC.
I linked my application online and its showing 'We have requested a medical exam. We will send you a letter or email with details.'
Is this normal? I felt it should be showing that my medicals are under review or something.
Is it possible that my results weren't sent? I really dont know what to think.

Firstly, After scanning your documents, start compressing each and every one of them using Microsoft office picture manager, compress the quality of each documents by clicking on Edit Pictures option which can be found on the top bar. Then select Compress for: documents. After which, you then merge all this documents using smallpdf.com, and compress it again using smallpdf.com. You will get your documents quality within the range of 2.55MB-3MB leaving them with an original outlook.

Seriously for online application how were you guys able to compress affidavit of support, SOA, CAC, Land documents, bird cert of mum, etc to 4 MB, its really tough especially with 40 pages of SOA?

It looks like the major influence on the 451 score is Saskatchewan nominee. They opened up last week and by this week they have reached their desired quota and It is now closed (SNIP for international skilled workers).

I thought as much, it's too early to publish results.

Include the uncle identification Card (Int'l passport bio data page). Presenting a study leave letters for a 2 year and above program does not appear realistic. You can show ties to your home country through your career prospects, family property, family business etc..

Naturally, you know one semester nọ follow.

The fact is that in Canada most certificate courses are 3 to 6 months which fall within a semester, considering that a semester is 4 months.

Hello Fam!

Good day my people! I'm here to share a useful experience and at the same time ask for opinions on the best way to tackle the issues. I hope we can all learn from it as we submit our applications.

It's about a friend of mine that submitted his application in January and his status has remained in IP1 since February. We decided to order for his GCMS file less than 3 weeks ago and it came yesterday.

So the VO had recommended a further review of his application since February 27. He explained that "the applicant claimed 3+ years of foreign work experience to gain ITA whereas documents from employer had shown just[b] 2years 10 months[/b] of experience and going by that, his CRS score will be below the minimum score required for the draw as at that time".

After discussing this with him, I realized he goofed while entering into the pool by choosing 3+ years to arrive at his CRS score of 469 and didn't notice this while he was submitting his documents post ITA.

The 2nd issue raised was that Vo alleged "the applicant work experience was split up into 2 separate work experiences and work duration dates ADJUSTED to match LOE.

But actually, what happened here is that the applicant is a Dentist. He claimed Houseman ship experience betw Nov 2014 to Nov 2015. Then NYSC experience (in the same hospital) between MAY 2016 to APRIL 2017. The last experience he claimed is his current job(different hospital) which started from May 2017 till Jan 2018 (when he submitted)

Now if you notice in the first employer, there is a 5 MONTHS gap in between NOV 2014 to APRIL 2017. While filling the work history form, he realize the form would not allow any gap in between, so he filled the gap with an internship he never intended to claim point for so the form could allow him proceed. So I then realized this was what the VO probably described as WORK EXPERIENCE & DURATION DATES ADJUSTMENT.

Having said all these, I call on every elders on this forum to suggest to us the best way to go about this. Should he wait and allow the VO reject the application coz going by 2 years 10 months experiences he provided references for, his CRS will fall from 469 to 444 whereas the minimum score for his draw was 446.

OR can a raising a Specific Case Inquiry help him to avoid rejection of his application?

And hope he does not stand any chance of getting banned for misrepresentation?

I just stumbles into this question I don't know if someone has answered. But sincerely if I was in this position ( I am not sure I will ever be, because I am detailed when it comes to immigration, I cover every loop hole), I will call in to know the status of my application. Then explain to the agent on the phone what I just realized based on my submission and ask for his candid advise on how to proceed or way forward. Because I think the agent on line sees the notes on your application too.

You can do anyhow in ielts and get 6.0 but that TEF.. Omo...in French, articles, nouns and verbs get changed when turning to plural.. Nouns have genders.. Pronounce 'h' here and it's silent there. Pronouncing 'r', as 'h' and the accents and circumflex. Anyone who gets 7 across the board after a year, tried oh.. May be na only see am like this.

You don't necessarily need to get too much in TEF. You need CBL band 5 to get 4 points like if you are on 436, plus 4 points is a great deal of point. I stimulated it on the calculator L & R score of 226/450 and S & W 181/450 will give 4 points. Higher scores can boost your score up.
