dvkot: I really love this timeline we are in, which is exposing the hypocrisy of the west and their double standards
You arrest people for what they post online and yet you go around the world clamoring for freedom of speech and democracy 😂
There is more freedom in Iran than in the UK but a lot of people don't know this.
You police the information your people can receive and yet you condemn Iran and the rest for doing the same.
You arm nation to destroy a population of people that have no air defense and military and yet you condemn Russia
You claim Hamas is a terrorist group and still yet you fund anti-government terrorists groups in Syria and Iran.
You back the arrest of Putin for moving children out of warzone and yet you condemn the arrest of someone deliberately killing children.
I don't really blame the west to be honest I blame countries and people that allows themselves to be a pawn In their hands Brainwashing is very strong. However, as other economies grow in prominence, population and breadth, plus the West engaging in culture wars, we will see less indoctrination in the future. |

SuperOnyi:

Did I read this right? An ancient site destroyed and replaced with a new statute of Jesus? A site that is capable of generating wealth for generations? It wasn't even moved but destroyed entirely yet the statute of Alexander the great a pagan still stands today?
There's something fundamentally wrong with the way a black man thinks, no matter how religious you are, if in deed that site has existed for hundreds of years, common sense should let you know that this is a bad move.
But what do you expect in a country where tourism especially in the countryside is dead and crude oil is still being held on like a child holding onto his mother's bréast? Black folks have successfully destroyed their identity because they do not understand how to give to Caesar what belongs to him, that's why these afrocentrists are bent on holding onto ancient civilizations to make themselves feel better. ne." It is a Nigerian thing because East and Southern Africans won't behave in such a manner. Even African Americans would not. We should stop labelling everything ill Nigerians do on the entire race. |

Auxtan: Zuckerberg became a billionaire in his 20s but remained a simple man till date. Someone who bought his neigbours' homes just to have a bigger space is not a simple person. The belief that everyone must behave in a particular way is why you people believe there are no billionaires who live extravagant lifestyles. The billionaire behind Oracle Inc is known for buying off islands and hosting private parties, but people in West Africa believe billionaires don't show-off. Their concept of showing off differs from yours, that is all. @POST: Whether someone show-offs or not, especially for those in the entertainment industry, you should be less bothered provided the source of wealth is legit. |

Except the process has changed from the usual Dragnet, SHL, PLI and whatever Workforce uses. Then, the usual group discussions and assessment centre exercises, then the first, second and maybe final interview (depending on the firm). Multinationals like ExxonMobil and McKinsey are different as they are more global in their assessment processes. Abi the process don change? The issue is a poor economy and too many people. Nigeria is too populated for an economy that is not growing fast as India (graduates complain there too) and Indonesia. Even fresh graduates from Chinese universities complain of the pains involved in job hunting, the reason they move to Japan, Korea, Malaysia and Singapore and take advantage of fewer people and cultural/linguistic similarities. My advice is to hone your aptitude test skills because that is where a large number of applicants are screened out. Hone it very well, because without acing at least 5 out of 10 tests, e go hard o. |

First it was highest dependent to student ratio Then Emdee Tiamiyu Now cumulatively tens of thousands of Nigerian students across universities being unable to pay up fees
I foresee Nigerian students being shadow-blocked by a good number of UK universities in the very near future.
Not a good look at all. The mushroom universities would admit easily, but the Russell group of universities would apply extra scrutiny and maybe demand for a blocked account (exclu. scholarship students). It is not easy to say no to Nigerian students. After India and Pakistan, we send the most number of students to the UK. I consider China a different case as the majority are undergraduates and they pay cash. Big people. Too much money. How much is money for Ndi Chinese? |

tensazangetsu20: At 14, I will focus on being good at algorithms. Probably If you get good enough within the next few years, you can go represent Nigeria at the international Olympiads for informatics and probably be able to get into an ivy league university. Self-sponsorship because the same National Mathematical Foundation organises all events for International Olympiads in Nigeria. If that of mathematics can be scrapped, what is informatics ni? programiz: Learn programming in Nigeria is really challenging and i would like to hear from you guy. I have issues since i was 13 years old but now am 14, issues are: A. low internet access - i can get internet only 2 or 3 times in a month, and it only last for 2 hours maxium B. Electricity issue - especially now that am in Gombe there is no light at all. 4units = 1000naira I always thought Gombe was that state which enjoys almost 24/7 electricity, especially as it is in the north. Follow the advise by Nazgul. Also, when seeking admission, choose either Mathematics, Physics or Computer Science. Don't go for any engineering course except Elect/Elect. The rest have little bearing with software engineering. Also, the first three are slated for four years, engineering is five years. The earlier you leave the system, the better. |

Jman06: That's not true! There lots of lands in the east to farm! The southeast is densely populated. Look at the satellite maps from foreign agencies. To produce enough food for Igbos to consume, there needs to be large swathes of land. Also, the southeast cannot produce all its food. Please check the meaning of comparative advantage. Generally, countries with a large percentage of its population as farmers are poor. Industry and services are the most important aspects of a thriving economy. The problem is attitudinal. Most of the youths there consider farming as condescending and would rather pay through the nose to buy food than farm. Nothing wrong with it. So far they have the money to purchase that food, good. Economies that produce those foods have a wealthy customer base. A large land mass Indonesia is happily supplying food to land short-changed, but wealthy Singapore. This is basic economics. |
