A man and a woman, who allegedly had an overnight sex marathon were on Tuesday found ‘stuck’ together in a matatu in Magembe village in Tharaka South. The man, a matatu driver, was found on the back seat of the vehicle at around 6am, sweating profusely while scrabbling to untangle himself from his partner. The woman’s husband, who was among the eyewitnesses at the scene, demanded for a wade of cash to be paid to him before he agreed to separate the two, claiming to have ‘locked’ his wife, so that any kind of penetration by another man would have the exact effect of locking the partners together. The driver pleaded to be ‘set free,’ promising to pay sh10, 000, if ‘unlocked’ from the woman. The husband reportedly mumbled some incomprehensible words and just afterwards, the two love-cheats got separated, reports say. Afterwards, the cheating couple were taken to Chiakariga Police Post. A resident, Ms Mary Muthoni, who witnessed the incident to said the driver and the cheating wife were found naked with somewhat swollen private parts. Another resident, Mr Julius Mutegi, also labelled the incident the second in a row of a spouse failing to go undiscovered after committing adultery. He said that in the first incident the couple died because the husband was away working in faraway Mombasa, and before he could be airlifted home to separate them, they had died.

Sometimes in October 2015, I applied for a position/placement with Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Abuja. And by late November same year, we had concluded with all the processes involved for the recruitment proper...ie; Medicals, aptitude Test and Oral Interviews with top panelists that comprises Army Generals. Then on 10th January 2016, I got a congratulatory SMS from DIA Headquarters in Abuja, telling me also to avail myself in Abuja from 11th to 15th January 2016 to collect my Appointment Letter. I arrived Abuja from PH on the 12th and headed straight to DIA HQ, that was where I got the shocker of my life. I was told that the top management or so had placed everything on hold and till now as I type, nothing else from them...no SMS to that effect, nothing nothing. I don't know if anyone in this room whose brother, sister, nephew, cousin etc...has got any Intel as to what is happening with DIA and why they abruptly shut the recruitment down. It's been 7months and counting. Any useful information would be appreciated. Thanks. |

COURT ORDERS REINSTATEMENT OF GIWA FC BACK TO THE NIGERIAN PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE The Federal High Court sitting in Bukuru, Jos, Plateau State, has granted the prayers of Giwa FC seeking it's reinstatement to the Nigerian Professional Football League. In a judgement delivered by vacation judge, Justice I.I. Kunda, on the 12th August, 2016, the League Management Company and the Nigerian Football Federation were restrained from stopping Giwa FC from playing matches in the Nigerian Professional Football League pending the determination of the motion on notice. The Judge also ordered the first and second respondents to reschedule all the matches that Giwa FC failed to play as a result of its purported expulsion from the league. The LMC was also ordered to immediately return all the players of Giwa FC that were summarily released and signed by other clubs. Justice Kunda fixed the 23rd of August, 2016, for the hearing of the motion on notice. The saga continues.... |
