Then, there is a relationship between your first degree and the MS you are going for. Any other concern?
1, I haven't seen anyone here going for the same degree so it gets me a little bit worried lol. Regarding home ties, below is what i have prepared to say if asked what are my plans after my degree. I'm still compiling my transcripts.

After my masters degree, I'll be coming back to Nigeria to work with Nema (National Emergency Agency) and also partner with a NGO, and I am currently working on a project that i will submit has a proposal to the agency, which will contribute to the emergency preparedness of every citizen in my country.

Is that okay?

What is the best way to prove home ties, if the current company you work with isn't related to the degree program you are going for. Will it be a red flag if i tell theVO I'll be coming back to get a job, or I must have the job at hand before traveling

Spring2019:
Yeah I already told people that paid less for their I-20 to. Please tell me how they did it. The students that were talking about it are not online on nairaland anymore. If anyone recently got an i-20 please tell me the method you used. Can't imagine paying 150 dollars again for I-20 when sevis fee and visa fees are yet to be paid
I used FedEx $50, received it in a week.

Goodmorning house, please i have a few questions, on the process on applying for my F1 visa. Regarding my Sponsor, a university in Nigeria is willing to be my sponsor as well as providing a sponsor letter, statementof account, they would be paying for my Tuition, accommodation etc. for my Masters program in Emergency Management and Homeland Security (whichi have searched and haven't seen anyone with a similar degree) how do i convince the VO on why the University is my sponsor, and while filling the Ds160 form do I fill OTHER where it says who is the sponsor, and what do I state has my relationship to the University... I'm currently compiling my transcript. Please your advice would be appreciated. Thanks please help is needed urgently
