Yes, the letter was resent. There was a date error.

Same thing here, for overseas. I didn't think it meant anything since the letter has already been stamped. The email, I think should be for the CC recipients. I resent the letter anyway.

There are no special tips, I applied last year but didn't pass the test. I'm a 2.1 graduate and God's pikin too.

well i am a final year undergrad in a federal university studying computer science and graduating with a 2:2. I know what you are thinking, my result hasn't come out yet so how am i sure. That is true but judging from my current CGPA i am on a 2:2 and my course adviser said i do not really have much chances of nailing a 2:1. plus i read very hard for my just concluded exam so i am positive i wont go bellow a 2:2.

Hearing this news made me really depressed although i do not know why this really came to me as a surprise because i really wasn't serious in my first and second year. I do not want to bore you guys with the details of my incompetence and ineptitude, i am going to go back to the question. Can i actually get a decent job not necessarily related to IT with a second class upper.

The worst part is that i do not possess any relevant skill or talent; i cant sing dance or rap. honestly the only thing i am really good at is speaking. I do not what to blow my own trumpet but i am quite a captivating speaker and a bit opinionated .

So i need help and advice on the next step and possible career options for a confused 22 year old girl with no skill, no big God and a 2:2. by the way i know my article is a bit mediocre and far from perfect, please cut me some slack i am a first time writer

First off, some jobs in Nigeria don't take into consideration one's course of study, example: bank jobs, customer service jobs, etc. But if you must get a job related to your course which is IT, then you're better off with IT certifications. There are lots of certifications ranging from security to web administration down to programming. Don't fret yet, you mentioned you're a good speaker-you can do better as a customer service rep with this quality. You may also add a master's to your qualifications if you're not satisfied with the certifications, you're still young, you know.

What kinda help do you need? Advice? I'd say you should try transferring to computer science by obtaining a transfer form. It should be possible in your school, moreover, it's easier since they belong to the same faculty. You don't really need connection, all you need is Grace and courage. You could walk up to a nice lecturer in computer science and explain your ordeal to them. Who knows?…you might just obtain favor.

The attribute of a world class university is that it must have a diverse pull of lecturers from different parts of the world. Go to Tshwanne university of Technology South Africa and see several Nigerians teaching there. Wole Soyinka holds a job at University Of Johannesburg.

Last year both Covenant and UI where both poorly ranked on Times Higher Education index for internationalization because they didn't have sufficient foreign staff and students, though they had a commendable number of joint research projects with foreign varsities...

1. if you will come from Ojota board the bus heading towards Maryland-Palm grove-Onipanu, tell the conductor you will drop at idi-iroko.

OR
2. if you will come from Ikeja, board maryland-yaba-palm grove-onipanu bus, tell the conductor you will alight at idi-iroko

then cross to the other side of the road, you will see the mall.

NB:- If you drop at Maryland you will still have to walk a reasonable distance to the mall, but if you drop at idi-iroko the mall is just there.

I'm getting tired abt this life, everything turning against me.

Without dad my mum tried her possible best to send me to school up to university level under thick and thin and graduated with no help from anyone including family..... I served d country via NYSC with all my strength and I passed out with some hope.......

During my time of service I tried all my best sending my younger sister to skul with assisting with d little stipends I'm getting.....Now I'm back home to my old mother.

U can't imagine d pain I'm having everyday seeing my mom in suffering at this time of her life wen she has a graduate as a son and I'm to be taking care of her.....I'm very hardworking but no matter how I'm trying its just not just enough.....

I have it in mind to relocate to Lagos maybe I'll see any job or God will provide anything to do....but I'm greatly discouraged cos I have no place to stay there and also broke even money for tfare and its shameful asking this my mom money cos I know her plight....

Friends now depart from me because of this even my long time girlfriend left because she can't cope any longer, now left with my mum and sister....

I'm pouring out my mind here cos I don't even know who to talk to again..... I'm getting fed up already.....

Family not helping, everybody minding his own business with their immediate family..... Even those that promised wen dad died were no where to be found.....

You are not alone, there are lots of people in your shoe. I suggest you take your mind off getting a 'well-paid' job at the moment, that doesn't mean you should stop applying. Teaching jobs are the most readily available jobs one can get, I suggest you try that. Now, the pay may not be much but it will take your mind off the frustrations of not getting a big job and self-pity. While teaching with all your heart, look out for other opportunities (employmentnigeria. com), learn some skills, produce something (as a chemistry graduate) to sell, who knows?…your chance might come.
Keep on believing and being still, and you'll know that He is Lord!
