The votes they've been buying since the Obasanjo era nko? Are those ones stones? |

There shouldn't even be any deliberation; the man should pack his kaya and move to Kaduna. |
jojomario:I wager Fayose would wear his neck collar for the next four years, feigning sickness in order to evade trial in court - just like Metuh has been doing. |
Fayose and his guys are at the receiving end of the same thing they did to Fayemi and his guys back in 2014. At the end of the day, Ekiti is poorer for it; the two leading candidates are nothing to write home about. And while one may want to blame the electorates for collecting money to vote, it is also a known fact that the only benefit many of the electorates get from their elected representatives is the 5k they get during elections. It's saddening! |
TMemos:Thank you... A whole professor! Jesus wept! |
RalphVwede:I'm in a similar situation: I did a Top Up last Friday - June 29 - and it is yet to reflect in my balance. I have sent two mails and logged the complaint on their website since Tuesday but I'm yet to get a reply from the Mutual Funds guys. Their SLA for replying mails is really not encouraging. |

Scrap JAMB joor and stop disturbing us with how much the institution generated by selling forms to young Nigerians in the last one year. |
"Those of us in the convoy thought our Principal in his usual manner wanted to respond to cheers and give out cash. What we all thought he wanted to do was different from what he did. He alighted from his SUV, went straight to an Akara vendor and requested he take charge of the Frying pan." From doling out ill-gotten cash to frying akara... Jesus wept! |
Not surprised; our politicians are the ones responsible, directly or indirectly, for most of our woes. A personal encounter with a young Nigerian soldier serving in the many of our forests, from Niger to Zamfara to Taraba, would reveal: the one constant thing in the conversations is 'politicians'. They feed and fund the touts for political gains and when the touts start terrorising everyone around them, they move to houses whose fences are two-storey high, procure armoured cars and move around with a league of armed security men as escorts. Saw one urinating along the Lekki-Ajah expressway last night, he had more than five mobile policemen as escorts. The Seven save us! |
RuthlessLeader:You don't have to be a military man to enrol for a Master's Degree at the NDA. And that right there is a seminar paper I'd like to read! |
Jacob Banks - Unknown. |
MobilityExpress:Ever heard of "Specta" by Sterling, and "Snap Cash" by Sterling? With these, you can obtain loans without paperwork, not even one, within minutes. The same goes for "Alat" by Wema, that allows you to open an account without filling any paper. With the Keystone Bank mobile application, you can contact your account officer from the comfort of your home. There's also "i-Invest" that allows you to buy T'bills on the Secondary Market without filling a single paper form. And there are many more like these by Banks in Nigeria. So Nigerian Banks are playing big within the FinTech space in the country. Mr Emefiele is just running his mouth is all. Personally, I'd like the next CBN Governor to be a FinTech expert, and not the regular economist we are used to. |

hennylove:Lolz @ Belle Voices. . JHud outsung them when she performed "My Heart Will Go On" with them - which shouldn't be. . If they pick the right songs, on the right platform/stage, they should do okay. They still need to do more work though. |
You guys should stop arguing unnecessarily about her nationality and just watch her awesome performances and take it all in. She's British with a Nigerian Father. . From her rendition of George Ezra's Budapest, to her cover of The Cranberries' Dreams, to her duet with Saskia Eng covering Florence and the Machines' Dog Days Are Over, to her performance of "Waiting For A Star to Fall" in the Semi Finals, to her performance of Daniel Bedingfield's If You Are Not The One, to her "What A Wonderful World" duet with Tom Jones... She was absolutely awesome! . Her last name made me watch her first performance on YouTube but her voice made me watch her other videos and I knew she was a favourite to win after watching her perform "Dreams." . Let's just enjoy the moment and stop arguing unnecessarily. Life is short and, with voices like Ruti's around, beautiful! |
Go and withdraw money that is not yours on the excuse that whatever is in your account belongs to you... The Lord help you if the N100m is one of the tranches sent to numerous Bank accounts by one of those under EFCC's hot chase to conceal the origin of the illicit funds... You will spend more time at the EFCC's than you would living your own life. Those telling you to get a lawyer are not telling you that lawyers don't work for free and these cases can drag on for years... |
Spatta:It's unseriousness really, because with the BVN Matching System as well as the platforms for both Voter’s registration and National ID registration, the robbers' fingerprints can be traced to them. Let's hope this case doesn't die down until justice is served. |
This is nice. |

Reminds one of a poem by Caleb Femi about a friend of his who was shot, and died, while attending a funeral. May the departed's soul rest in peace! |
