If you have an account that is, at least, six months old and with a monthly turnover that is not less than N500k with Sterling Bank, you can apply for a POS terminal. The terminal is free but the bank gets 0.75% commission on every purchase to a maximum of N1200. |

Liamm: As robots prepare to take on our jobs, they should also prepare to pay us for staying at home doing nothing. Now that's paradise on earth Heard of "Universal Basic Income?" The Finnish government has already started exploring it, to the point of conducting an experiment with 2000 participants in it. |

fratermathy: This is an interesting revelation. Atleast it accounts for alot. However the bureaucracies are still too much na. Haba! In some schools, the only connection the student has with PG school is clearance and result collection. Almost everything, including external defence, is done at the departmental level.
Thank you anyway for this. That's one hell of a bureaucracy! Scary, even. |

fratermathy: Thank you for your wonderful addition. I must confess that my sources at ABU were very conservative with the truth. However I knew from the start that there was a problem because many of them were supposed to have graduated 2 years ago and these are quite brilliant lads.
Cc: Elhafeez In the same ABU, I have been waiting for my external defence since last October. It's been five months since then. No show. I know guys who waited eight months for theirs and had to pay additional school fees before they could graduate. Pay no heed to those who come out to defend the indefensible. We must first admit the truth about salient issues before we can have the chance of adequately addressing them! |

Audrinakane: Different strokes for different folks but then I felt Adele's last album was better. So many great songs there but for me, I only think 2 songs from lemonade made sense and that was formation and daddy lessons. The album for me was overhyped. I think Adele deserved it Given the chance meself, Adele would have my vote 10 out of 10 times. Very well deserved! |

carmag: in a saner clime solgers are practically invincible on the streets but here in Nigeria they have technically taken the job description primarily meant for the police
obviously our politicians practices democracy with rip service Very true. If there is one sight I don't appreciate seeing everywhere and every time, it is men and women in military colours. Unless we are deceiving ourselves, we don't need as many military men and women as we have at present - the emphasis should be on quality, not quantity. The story of the Nigerian police is a sad one really; they are neither performing nor respected. The priority now should be on overhauling the entire structure and modus operandi of the NPF. If the police is up and doing, most ugly scenarios in this country that later escalate into vengeful violence, and for which soldiers are subsequently deployed to handle, will be quenched before getting out of hand. At the end of the day though, everything boils down to the people, societal norms and social mores. |

The issue is not the protest, it is the protest's initiator. Often times in politics, the message is only as credible as the messenger. Where was the patriotic spirit in Mr Idibia when he was accepting posh cars bought with public funds from public office holders as wedding gifts? Having said that, if I were chanced, even I will join the protest. The kalo-kalo approach of the Buhari administration to governance has got to stop. |
