Romance › Re: Why Do Guys Go Blank When Asked This One Simple Question? by gibson81(m): 2:19pm On Sep 10, 2015 |
Jenny1010: I know all this guilty conscious selfish guys will come here to attack me coupled with some low self esteem girls.
How does asking your boyfriend how much he earns make you a local or hungry girl. What is the foundation of a relationship? isn't trust?. If you want a long lasting relationship, you have to open up on everything. You want a girl to tell you everything about herself, but you assume it an offence when she ask you how much you earn.
If you can't open up to your girl on how much you earn, then you have to ask yourself "what are you doing with her" , because clearly you don't trust her, except you just want to use and dump her. pple like this who claim to be smart and miss knowitall are the easiest to scam in relationship. their hearts has been broken several times by sweet tongue guys. Babe get a life and get ur financial independent. the only woman that has the right to that info is my wife. so continue asking your boyfriends their monthly salary and expect answers. that's actually low life and low self esteem combined. |
Politics › Re: Lola Oguntade: How I Gave Up Everything To Campaign For Buhari by gibson81(m): 8:12pm On Aug 08, 2015 |
Jarus: She tried, but many of us did similar things. I did, maybe the only difference is I didnt give up my own work.
WHAT I ALSO DID
2011 I coordinated a team on Nairaland to raise circa 700k to do radio jingle for Buhari.
During break time in office, I rushed to radio stations (ok, cool fm that was close to my office then) to seal adverts for Buhari. For others, I spoke with their agents on phone.
Our adverts ran in 5 radio stations across 4 states: Lagos, Oyo, Osun and Rivers.
I did a pamphlet at my cost and was distributing in buses in Lagos.
Someone I met on Nairaland came to my office to drop 20 Buhari shirts. I distributed among boys in my neighbourhood.
Anywhere I went I was talking about Buhari.
I sent sms to almost on contacts on my phone at my cost.
I wrote not less than 15 articles published in Punch, Guardian, Tribune, Thisday etc to sell Buhari candidacy.
Remember Buhari wasn't this popular in the South then.
2015 I spent circa 100k from my pocket to sponsor local radio jingle in Kwara radio stations focusing my senatorial district, Kwara South. Buhari had become popular in Lagos then, so I didnt pay attention to Lagos.
I took on FFK in a popular, strong-worded article, "Fani-Kayode's Flurry of Fictions", published in several newspapers. That article almost cost me my job as my employers saw it in BusinessDay and cautioned me.
I championed the exposure of Fani Kayode's alteration of the Cambridge response to my friend, Sodiq Alabi's inquiry on Buhari's certificate. That my expose was the headline story in The Nation the next day "Blogger accuses Fani-Kayode of forging email". That was a risk to my life.
I went out on election day to mobilize okada riders to go vote.
I visited newspaper stands almost every Saturday to go reduce the effect of the misinformation about Buhari being spread by thick-voiced people.
I alerted APC chieftains, including el-Rufai, when I got a distress call from a Buharist friend in Akwa Ibom on mass rigging going on there on election day.
I talked to Okada riders and taxi drivers almost everyday. Idiats! Are you. now also looking for reward? OK take special assistant on media ( print media) since you are good in writing articles. Hope you have been promoted in your office since your Dullard won! Rubbish! |

dustmalik: It is only fair if a PDP governor is appointed into such committee. It shouldn't be seen to be an all APC affair when, in fact, it's a national issue. Buhari is only being fair here, and nothing more.
Again, this doesn't amount to anything other than what I stated above. It is majorly, APC governors that have problem with paying salary, so the President have to tap into PDP governors wisdom to solve the issue. APC web rats put your house in order. your success still depends on the corporation of PDP. so sheath your sword and apply wisdom, PDP have nothing to lose but everything to gain |

When APC divides...Tinubu should be the first person to be held responsible for the collapse of APC because of his his greedy and stubborn insistence of wanting to impose who will hold principal positions among APC Senators and House of Rep members.

UBA defrauded my Account through ATM. During election period, I live at Apapa, but I registered somewhere at Ogba, so during the period of election I went to Ogba so I can cast my vote. so after governorship election i went and withdrew 2k, on my alert I noticed a difference of 4k on my account. I went on Monday to the their branch close to my office at Apapa and complained, the customer service person said i withdrew the cash at an ATM in Apapa 2 Saturdays b4. the irony is that I didn't get alert and the money wasn't debited, so the cash was debited after 10 days of the said withdrawal. The fact is I wasn't around Apapa where the said withdrawal took place, I was at Ogba on that Saturday and my ATM card was in my Wallet. bottom line they refused to return my money. Same thing happened to me at Bank PHB in 2007, 8k from my NYSC allowee that I saved , the sad thing is that bank PHB doesn't even have ATM machine that time aside their HQ, I never used the card at anytime, the password was in my head and the card in my Wallet, so who did? |

Oba is the monarch of lagos, he has to protect the interest of lagos first. The very many projects that will make lagos the number 1 city in Africa are underway by the APC government and he feels the igbos do not like and want this coz they don't want the yoruba region to be way ahead of them should nigeria break up (God forbid). You can only understand his frustration at any attempt to scuttle the advancement that has been witnessed in Lagos state in the last 16years.
Anyways I blame the PDP solely for this!!! The same strategy of divide and conquer that cost GEJ the presidency is what is being deployed in lagos by JK. PDP will never learn. Thunder go fire your mouth! how many businesses does ur lazy Yorubas have in Lagos. over 60% of businesses in Lagos are owned/or managed by Ndigbo. GenBuhari: People only riot when they feel disenfranchised. This time it would not be only the North that would feel disenfranchised, so it is better that free and fair elections are conducted and handover of power is done peacefully if Buhari /APC wins as expected.
Should the entire country feel disenfranchised after the ruling party rig themselves back into power, then the entire country may go up in flames. is time all hope would not be lost, as the prospect of an opposition parallel government may be enough keep the country calm.
Fellow Nigerians please keep very calm add peaceful whatever the results and only come out en masse to support or peacefully demand a parallel government if it became necessary to do so.

StealthyMe: You don't get my point do you? And i can totally understand...its the GEJ euphoric sensation that has clouded your judgement. What i simply meant was, seeing the recent success of the army, wouldn't it have been better if this had come earlier and innocent lives had been saved. My guess is you haven't lost any loved one to this BH dilemma. Why this is coming now is not because the president cares for the people, its cos he needs their votes. I am not an avid supporter of any party...lest you crucify me,i am just a concerned citizen. After lives had been wasted, with our president turning a blind eye and dancing away, suddenly election day draws nigh and he needs our votes,he decides to go on a BH rampage ( something that should have been done earlier). It just doesn't work that way...At all bros! Nigerians are the wiser for it were you not in this country during the formative stage of Boko Haram when they were killing only Christians and bombing traders from the southeast, Govt sent soldiers to the affected areas. The Northern elders and Buhari condemned it and gave FG 2weeks to remove soldiers from the North. They said the fight against the group is a fight against the North and Muslims. GEJ being a democrat who respects the opinion of others granted their request. Boko Haram grew bigger, strategised and got better equipped. Their cry started when the group started to bomb mosques and killing the Northern villagers. The Northern elders advocated for amnesty and the FG agreed, but they refused to front a negotiator. would FG have granted amnesty to cows and trees? The FG declared state of Emergency in the affected area, the Northern elders once again objected, as well as APC ranks, termed it 'POWER GRABBING' because the states affected are APC strong holds. once again GEJ being a democrat has to sought approval from the National Assembly. On tackling the insurgency, the military being composed of largely Norths in their ranks, had plenty moles and sympathisers amongst them, which resulted in failed operations. So they have to first fish out BH informants amongst the military and then get better equipments to fight the insurgents. They have to also train personnels on how best to use the equipments. these things takes time. We all are supposed to encourage the government and support our military. Every thing can't be political. The desperation of APC to grab has been in my opinion, the main problem of this government. |
