Ok so I am sorta enjoying Ted Lasso TV show.
I enjoy the bantr (see what I did there huh? lol), the dialogues, acting - really good stuff but the social messages is starting to annoy me.

This is football, it's a man's game yet men are portrayed to be mostly incompetent, eediiots, egocentric, dirty, emotional and dysfunctional ninnies.

It's ok for an older woman to shag a boy half her age and be praised for it as a B.A.B but when a man does it, it's a crime and will be labelled as a dog if lucky not to be jailed or sacked.
It's ok for woman to be dating the family therapist but nah, a man can't do that. All he does is beg her to come back.
In short, women are perfect, can do no wrong but men are just there to as furniture.

Whatever happened to having a balanced script?

And the last straw was S3E3.

I don’t want to know type of dense people ,they have nothing to do in that game then and it’s not the first game where we might be talking of maybe he’s novice .one person is gonna win for sure but not with some of them showing pity in the face of death,and the tug of war episode made no sense no matter the tactics them use this is life and death those other team ain’t winning .

For squid game I quickly got bored I know where it's gonna end you can see some actions of the characters from the start ,like the mumu Arab guy ,it's just for viewing pleasure jare if it's like in a real life scenario and it's fight for life you think some of the decisions taken would be same .just enjoy the movie and leave that's all there is to it

The show was solid...it had solid themes and solid writing...

And it's 1 season...

If you even compare season 1 of Squid Game to S1 of Breaking Bad only...
Squid game clears easily


What made Breaking bad great is the development throughout the seasons...
Things could have turned out differently and the show could have been cancelled after the first season...

The only movie that top breaking bad and better call saul with writing is THE WIRE this movie are not for people that would rate squid game 10

Yes chuck is very bitter but Goodman also has his own chuck death would sure pain you irrespective of how much you hate him

Chuck has to be one of the worst brothers in fiction
He's a piece of shît, jealous of his own brother and will do anything to bring him down

I'm surprised Jimmy did not see through his scheme...

I also don't like Mike's character this season.
It feels like they are butchering his character.
He's making dumb choices

For some reason he can't let things go...
The person he's targeting has even forgotten he exists...
All he's doing is putting his family in danger for no reason...

This is not the Mike I know...Mike is rational, he's smart and tactical...
And most of all, he doesn't get too absorbed in things...
Even when he did revenge for his son's death, he planned it out carefully and even gave himself an alibi...

seeing season 1 i haven’t finished 2 episode without sleeping off ,currently on episode 5 slept like 4 times ,show is good but not really peak that can hook someone .

You’ve seen nothing yet the acting of bob odenkirk and the lady rhea is top notch the camera quality I so much love this series and it doesn’t connect to breaking bad directly until last season

This show is so well written...characters are all incredible. And it's so entertaining to watch.

The plot twist/ betrayal reveal towards the end of S1 is crazy...while I suspected his brother very early on...I quickly moved on and I never saw that reveal coming...

Last night and even this morning, I was thinking about it so much...the betrayal really hurt me so much with everything Jimmy/Saul had done for his brother

The show shows how much Jimmy struggles to remain in the good side of the law...but he is constantly tempted and driven over the edge on different occasions and he even succumbs to it.

Another aspect I loved was the focus on Mike. I always wanted more exploration on Mike in Breaking Bad but never got this. I'm glad Better Call Saul did the right thing by giving Mike more character moments and screentime

So far I can say confidently:
Better Call Saul Season 1 >>>>>>> Breaking Bad S1
And it's by far...not even a contest

But the herd you even talking about sometimes these people for sure do know more than us ,imagine someone making a life out of been a critics and you are telling me you know more than them ,following critics review is normal so reading reviews before movie is normal and you can't tell me say you get sense pass more than thousand of critics wey dey review movie .

Seems you guys don’t rate THE WIRE at all ,if we were to go by some sites ratings the wire is rated above game of thrones and breaking bad from some sites Ive seen tho they may not be strong known movie review sites but don’t try to play down the brilliance of THE Wire pls you guys shouldn’t

It set out as 3 friends with horrible bosses and the only solution they came up with was to eliminate these bosses. What followed is a series of comical manuvers that will keep you giggling throughout 😁.

With Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day, and Jason Bateman starring with support from Kevin Spacey, Jennifer Aniston, Collin ferrell and Jamie Foxx, it was actually an ensemble cast.

They don't make comedy movies like this anymore, totally miss this era.
