If upfront for qlife Lagos only your international passport u should take along.. They have biro for u to write anything

For medical: u need ur original International passport (for seeing), Canada Medical request form (if Canada sent u a mail to go do medical) and your proof of payment for the medical.

If you are doing 'upfront medical', u won't have the form from IRCC. Just go with the other two. Don't buy the file & biro they sell there.

For Biometrics: u need the biometric request form sent to your mail after u submitted your visa application (hard copy). Your International passport.

You cannot book a biometric for your spouse without the IRCC number in the biometric letter.

You are supposed to get biometrics for the SP and SOWP. Send them an email or/and web form if you paid 170 for biometrics. An applicant below the age of 14 are not required to give biometrics.

NOTE: I have 3 applications which are SP, VV and SOWP but I got Biometric request for SP. Although, VV is for a child below one years of age.

If you want to do an upfront medical, just tell them it is upfront medical.

on the day of appointment, go there with the payment hardcopy as well as your passport and a facemask.

She is doing her second Masters here in Canada.
Same masters course she did in Nigeria.
She explained that when she went through the courses in Canada and compared to Nigeria, the gap was too much and that our sylabus here is obsolete and our lecturers keep repeating the obsolete sylabus that she want to change that system on coming back.

Upfront medical is very good. Ensure you do it before final submission of your application and it should be well spelt out in your SOP the medical numbers as given to you from the hospital.

However, the hospital knows that it is Upfront.

After including the medical numbers in your SOP, you may be given PPR within 2 weeks.

pls.. I will like to confirm whose account needs to have most of the funds to be used for POF.

My wife is going for study while I will be applying for SOWP and our child for VV. Although, I will be the Sponsor.

Should i send all money to Wife's account or just send the one that will be enough for her and our child to her account and will there be need for gift deed?

NOTE: Wife has her own salary account as well but might just need more funds.

I am the one that paid the school fees and some other expenses during the whole admission process.

I am still waiting for my passport renewal dou (so, i havn't started my application at all).

I just want to know if i can do that in parallel i.e. go for medicals/bio-metrics while waiting for my passport before starting VISA application.

For the first question, yea, that’s the expectation
Second question, it’s not an issue if your wife still bears her maiden name on her passport, but if you wish to change her maiden name to yours, it’s still not an issue. Just know that either ways, you still need to back it with sworn affidavits. But you said she used her new name in admission process.. and submitted the passport that bears her maiden name? How?
Lastly, don’t let me say when you apply coz that’s not when the passport validity matters, when you get a positive decision and you are requested to send your passport, it must have at least 6 month validity. So it’s now your choice to decide what you want to do. As you still have time to do that.
And yes, all passports have to be ready to be able to apply. I hope I’ve been able to respond to all questions?

and for this...she did not submit the passport, she was only told to use the name that will appear on her passport and since we already have the intention of name change, she just used my name instead of her maiden name (during the whole admission process).
