Page 1 is a good place to start and google. Find a course and school you'd like, apply, get your letter of acceptance and begin the visa process.

God bless you.

How do I start?

What do I do first?

Apologies. But i'm not sure, I think you have to sign up for it. Speak to your account officer or customer service.

What course are you going for now? How will you explain the gap? You basically say what you've been doing since 2015. Also if you leave it out in your visa application now "and so hold your peace" on it in subsequent visa applications. You just have to be convincing in how this new course helps your future/career progression.
pean06:
Good morning gurus in the house,
I am a bit confused again oh…: I need help/ advice. I have a MSc degree in Psychology(Clinical). But based on advice from my agent I applied to Fanshawe with my BSc degree and I got the admission.
Now that I have to apply for study permit, I am confused because I don’t know if I should let the VO know that I have MSc or I shouldn’t ( will it affect my application?).

I am worried about the study gap between 2015 and now. I worked in a bank briefly between 2018 and 2018 before I finally resigned for MSc ……

P.S I got my BSc in 2015, MSc in OCT 2021, I am currently doing my clinical internship (a prerequisite for NACP membership and Licensure).

Leave out the tax receipt.
Armah22:
Please can anyone help ?
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Gift212: 12:18am On Mar 04, 2022
Those are two different things. What she's talking about is allowance students abroad are entitled to,it's different from PTA
Joedave25:

What you refer to as upkeep allowance is called Personal Travel Allowance (PTA). To access it you must have your visa and also two way flight ticket.Fund your Naira account and apply through your bank for PTA.

Super encouraging! Congratulations! So happy for you.

Hallelujah! God has done it.
Got PPR today after almost 10 months

Timeline

First application refused January 29th 2021

Second application submitted May 22nd 2021
Eligibility started May 31st 2021
Ghost update June 3rd 2020
Medical expires August 2021
New medical updated to pass September 2021
Correspondence letter March 3rd 2022
PPR March 3rd 2022
Age over 50 years

Most importantly I prayed to God for the approval. I give God all the glory because after the first refusal I almost gave up because I though age is against me. More so, I have two Masters degree already and I am going for another Master program but I committed it into God hand and He came through for me.

While waiting I requested GCMS twice but nothing was in them, eligibility shows "review required"
I hope this encourage someone.

What about you?
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Gift212: 3:25pm On Mar 03, 2022
The first one. I paid a little over N5000 (just gcms is cheaper). I had issues making payment at first, so I emailed them and was provided a link, used my gt card and that was sorted. Filled and signed the consent form, scanned it back.
Maypearl:

Hey Gift,

Do you mean thegcmsonline.com or gcmsnotes.com

Sorry I’m asking because I’m considering ordering for my notes and yours was pretty fast.

And also how much did it cost in USD or CAD

Thank you

Oh okay, it can be anything or nothing in particular sef. Be hopeful, when did you apply?
buckyfof:

No ma'am

Pre assessment just says - "further review"

That's all

Contacted an MP

And he said review required also, reason why is not listed in the notes. Just trying to be hopeful
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Gift212: 1:45pm On Mar 03, 2022
Printed. Does it specify in preassesment?
buckyfof:

Hello gift

Sorry, was your dad first bank statement in MBS or you printed the statement and scanned them.

I am also review required and have "further review" on my pre assessment notes.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Gift212: 6:50am On Mar 03, 2022
gcmsonline.com. Amin
Teemenzo:

That was quick o, which site is that?

I guess work is still ongoing with the background check since the info sharing is in progress. It will end in praise.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Gift212: 5:49am On Mar 03, 2022
7th of february, and I can see 21/02 at the bottom of each page so I assume that's when it was received.
Oh info sharing: In progress
Teemenzo:

Ok, i get you now. And when did you order your notes?
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Gift212: 5:34am On Mar 03, 2022
3rd of december. I think it's the first bank soa too. So I'm thinking of sending a detailed LOE on any transaction that may require their "further review". I can also see it was assigned to another VO since the day my eligibility started on 25/01,cuz 25/02 is the due date. Sooooo either they've abandoned it one side or made a decision
Teemenzo:

I think its the first bank SOA. Those people sha, they do their work ooo

Sorry if i may ask, when did you submit your application
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Gift212: 5:10am On Mar 03, 2022
Amen. Thank you!
kennyjoy:

No worries… Your PPR is loading IJN

Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Gift212: 5:10am On Mar 03, 2022
Quite!
I see Pre-Assessment notes: “Further review of : Proof of funds Father's First. (I'm guessing it's review of the first bank SOA,or is it review fathers first, then applicants?)
Eligibility also shows Review Required. Plus MP said 3 days ago eligibility undergoing additional verification
Teemenzo:

Oh, anything fun in the notes?
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Gift212: 4:07am On Mar 03, 2022

Where did you read it? Anon123 answered your question. The form isn't you submitting another trv application, it's a necessary form for the current trv (student permit) application you want to submit.
thisdeltagirl:

Okay i was confused because the portal had 2 mandatory forms which is Application for study permit and then Family information but the 3rd form is application for temporary resident visa form 5257e from what i read it said we do not have to submit a seprate application for trv. I am just really confused if someone can help me clarify i will appreciate

Congratulations!

My medical passed and eligibility a day after both of yours, oya VO finalize my application a day after too. Follow trend cheesy. Let me too feel this feeling in Jesus name.
Onlinedoctor:
My P.....P...R dropped today like I said earlier today the feeling is magic and I would love everyone to feel this way on this platform because you deserve it. My application was imperfect with its advantage and disadvantages such as am in my mid-forties and I also got some refusals in the past but you see what they are looking for is that truthful person in their application and admissible into their country.

Timeline:
Application: November 26, 2021
Biometrics: November 29, 2021
Upfront Medicals: December 29, 2021
Medical passed: January 17, 2022
Eligibility started: 24th January 2022
BVL: February 23, 2022
PPR: February 23, 2022

Processing time: 2 months 26 days (2 days less than 3 months)
You guys are a huge family and its only proper to meet you in Canada. I pray that you give something for Jehovah to bless, prepare your application properly and pray and he will bless it abundantly. For all those who have not gotten PPR, its coming just be persistent and don't give up. Never give up like that person that got hers on 6th attempt and it will come.
