who are they? |
thank God im not the only person that knows him, he was in one movie with ini edo and stephanie okereke and yes he is HOT better than all these jim iyke, des elliot and co what other movies has he been in? |
dang that sounds hot! unfortunately, i don't reside in the Uk what about security and wont the roadfare end up being more than airfare how much is the airfare anyway? what is your exact route? |
@constantin you know u insulted my intelligence by coming up with those conclusions that you did, no one else who read my posts and commented came up with the conclusion that i hate the west and its achievements and i want naija to remain in a backwards state, no one. i still love you but i seriously had to wonder if you can read. because how did you read what i wrote and start drawing those conclusions ![]() but if you believe it was an insult, my sincerest apologies and a warm wet kiss. lol |
bush ppl don come again, a weeping or bleeding statue has nothing to do with the end times or jesus dying on the cross. haba it is not even all statues that weep blood, it is a miracle finish, so are appearances of mary and such. some ppl are just so ignorant and are showing their ass (let us pray for the ppl who believe) wtf? do you even the significance of the statue's weeping or bleeding? and these are the same ppl that jump up and down for miracle night, if dont know about something, find out instead of making ignorant claims as i said before, and has been shown in previous thread posts, vatican scientists will most likely come and investigate. it will probably be a hoax but some are not. i detect serious anti catholicism in some posts here. schewww |
@ chumas thanks! maybe constantin will listen to you if not me hehe. instead of us to learn from the mistakes made, we just want to blindly do follow follow. how can fast food be a good thing? na wah oh @gaby, thks! as for where im from. ekiti parapo, represent! |
lol na koffi koffi de dog dey do |
na wah oh. bush ppl lol is this the first time you are hearing of a weeping statue? anway it might be a prank or nature playing up, reports will be made to the vatican and then vatican scientists will come and check out the statue together with a devil's advocate to determine whether or not the statue is really weeping blood. usually most of them aren't but a number really do. the site if confirmed will probably become a shrine |
@ seun, i didnt say anything about poisons affecting anyone. it is the stigma. if you being a yoruba man married an osu girl. ehen so? yoruba ppl dont care about that kind of thing, no one would stigmatize you or the girl or your children because it doesnt matter to them. but to a lot of ppl in igboland it really matters, because the whole family and resulting generations would be stigmatized, it is not a matter of if they dont poison you then they shouldnt poison igbos cos that is simply not true even the advent of christianity and modernity has refused to change the mindset of these ppl, just like in india also, we may want to stamp it out, for what is left to do when ppl's hearts are hardened? simply wait for the old guard to die out, or be proactive and encourage osu to marry with other non-discriminating tribes perhaps up to the third or fourth generation and then be gradually reintergrated into the igbo society if one so wishes. it is simply a means of getting from route A to B by avoiding the great big obstacle in your way. |
lol@ salsera, the bras that were being sold at woolies did not merit 1000 naira in any way as for you constantin, wow so now i am a typical traditional naija girl/woman, bwahahhhhhhhhhahaahah, i'm probably more enlightened than you are. obviously, you can't read, because i dont know how anyone would read my posts and come up with the conclusions you are coming up with. goodbye, because i have no time for such |
seun you're such a clown. this question poses no significance for you because you aren't igbo i think osus should marry out of the igbo tribe, so that their children will have less stigma attached to them and can now marry other igbos if they so wish. don't know if that will work tho |
and your point is? |
@ constantin to make it very clear, NONE of what i wrote suggests all the things you have accused me of, so abeg dont put words in my mouth thank you. ![]() |
@ constantin don't annoy me oh, Go and read my posts very well, i said if the palms is not ready to promote naija, it can rot and die. i also said update our traditional stuff so even tho these things are creating employment and wealth we should allow them, even if it is tobacco companies that have been kicked out of their country, evn if its MTN that is useless in south africa? nigeria is not anybody's dumping ground ojare.# and this is not about the originality of ideas, this is about making naija shine and doing something for the ppl, i dont want modern cinemas if they wont show naija movies and play a big role in improving nollywood, i dont want fitness clubs if they want all nigerian women to look like nicole ritchie or men to be another arnold, i dont want fast food that will come and kill us before our time, malaria is enough abeg, i dont want health clubs that force you to eat leaves instead making our food healthier, i dont want health clinics that cannot specialise or focus on diseases unique to america (you think every doctor in yankee knows what do with malaria eh) and i dont want universities that are not committed to research that is useful to nigeria or cannot develop teaching methods that will benefit the country. please constantin dont take words out of my mouth, i never said i didnt want progress, i said i didnt want another western world, there are many roads to the marketplace and i want nigeria to find its own road, not do a COMPLETE copycat of others and frankly id rather have those dirty markets than a useless mall because at least u can haggle. so what is europe is not shopping like they did in the 18th century, do you want to be like europe, not every that glitters is gold oh. as for your pictures im not moved? everthing is so manmade, even the greenry. as for those tall buildings, how many of them are green, cost efficient, energy efficient, how many recycle, how many of them hurt the landscape with their grandioseness? im not saying that they are bad, but nigeria shouldnt just copy, they should build on it and be so much better @ jeoma, sorry for hijacking your thread @ gaby, thks |
@chuma spot on spot on! and can u imagine its ppl like st.moritz and co that will be sponsoring events in fashion and entertainment and arts industry , how could the naija government allow british american tobacco to come here. kai instead of ppl to update our traditional stuff, every thing must be oyinbo. na real wah oh |
AA driving school in dolphin maybe the bobo was just feening for me ![]() |
yeah baby! i have serious beef with foreign investors who are imperalist in their outlook and refuse to promote a good nigerian image or try and make their business uniquely nigerian. i feel they are out here to make money at the expense of nigerian and nigerians which is altogether disgusting. i strongly feel that we should come up with our own stuff and export it to the west in addition to equally represented views in foreign investorship relations. i dont want another western world in nigeria i want a nigeria that is nigeria -- proud and magnificent, not knock off hollywood, malls and nonsense. scheww look at MTN for God goodness sake lol, its as if south africa wants to take over, abeg wetin? even british american tobacco that is busy there doing proudly nigerian, they are just here cos the nigerian government is taking their crap, their own is even worse than MTN or woolies. i wont even start on oil companies. we should make like chad and give them a real shake down |
woolworths closed down and im happy! why should we have a brand that is seemingly imperial even the above average nigerian could not afford to shop there, so what is the point being a pseudo-department store and their nonsense is not deserving of that price at all they didnt even try to develop a naija feel, they didnt promote themselves as being proudly nigerian, it seemed like a foreign/expat affair. this is not the direction in which i would like to see naija go. charity begins at home, so the palms can rot and die if they dont start supporting naija in real ways and exporting naija image to the rest of the world. those 'dirty' markets are part of us, and me i dont mind them so much. go over to america and see how ppl complain about malls and big brands like that. how is a big brand leaving naija a sign of regression. mehn, somedays i begin to wonder at the damage the white man has done. the world is advancing because they have woolworths? na so i just dey laff here. maybe we will be advanced when we have serial killers lol. |
lol one more opinion in a sea of many, why should we believe this one? |
i honestly have no idea, sorry oh (i can ask around sha) |
as of last summer, they were still up and running (i've never been there sha) i was at silverbird's one fine day and sporting a T.M Lewin shirt when i met this lady in bathroom and she was like that's a TM and i was like yeah. turns out she works for them and the way she spoke, business seemed good. sha sha, she didn't offer to give me discount if i visited and i dont know about their prices lol, considering i didnt get the shirt from naija. i dont want to go and be broke hehe. na poor student i be |
sorry oh. talk about transfer of aggression ![]() i apologise sincerely woolworths did rub me the wrong way sha |
i went to a naija driving school too! my instructor hated me lol ![]() |
some ppl are so negative woolworths sold clothes iand shoes in nigeria, i believe they were only on victoria island. they didnt get here via europe, rather they got via south africa (just like steers, hope that one closes down too lol) it was very boring, bra for >1000? like wtf. and waaaaaaaaaay too expensive, i think only crazy nigerians did any reasonable shopping there. only expats and foreigners shopped their like they were at bend down select this woolworths did not sell uniforms. why would they do that? this aint england, we have tailors to make our sh*t and jeez yes, they were stuff you'd recognize in europe and they were new (but so what if you didnt recognize the brands. davida, mon ami, zizi cardow had better sh*t anyday anytime and why wouldn't they be new, do you know any woolworths that sells second hand? is it cos its naija?) what woolies should have done, tho it was an extension of SA franchises should have popularize up and coming designers in naija and have them do mass market ready to wear stuff. but no, they had to be imperialist and force their bland nonsense on us. well goodbye! |
@coco29, a lot of people believe committing abortion is commiting sin. aka murder sha sha @ topic, please help her oh, because if something bad happens to her, it will be on your neck and then u wont be any different from her getting an abortion |
they've always done. you just didnt know about it ![]() |
in nigeria you may get a learners permit at sixteen and a driver's license at eighteen |
im just so angry about this. isnt everybody tempted to steal? how many ppl go and steal that kind of money. nonsense! |
what are you saying. the second wife produced documents that she was legally married to the man. born again or no born again, bigamy is illegal! if he married the surprise wife first then why did he marry the second one w/out divorcing her? and if he married the iyawo-ile first, what is the excuse for an outside family. two. do you see all the properties this man has? seven billion naira! whether you are man of God does not justify the stealing of anybody's money. all the ppl that insult abacha in his death nko? please jare, did they not also say stella used naija's money for plastic surgery. ehen what is good for the man of the devil is also good for the man of God. as for omofineboy, that is not what the evidence presents to us. why are u so sure he only had a mistress, the woman provided documents to show that they were married. u ppl are given the man too much credit ahn ahn. who is judging. the bible says stealing is wrong, i dont care if you are dead or not. it is more than likely that his seven billion are ill-gotten |
kk, i also read the guardian, maybe i just missed that number. however education is expensive, if you want the best for your child, you have to plan ahead and cough up the money. abi you think buying laptop is cheap? that is why the schools are private not public. what we should do is make the schools non-profit and set up an alumni association that will give back to the school, ensuring that costs are kept low. |
no oracle, im not a medical student but i think free is |
