Car TalkRe: Innoson Vehicles Releases New Models Of Vehicle by Gilbertman(m): 3:45pm On Mar 20, 2020
Kudos to the brains at Innoson Motors. I have been following the story of the Organization. Very good things coming from Nigeria.
I believe if we all chip in/patronize, at least one purchase each from the Company, we will be helping ourselves and Nigeria a lot.
Please note, as some folks here have rightly pointed out, every vehicles in the world have some idea from or resemblance to the next one. I am aware the Innoson designers know better than to make outright design copy. In the meantime, folks that noted one or two similarity(ies) to a known brand can suggest in drawing via email to the Company what alterations can be input. We can do well in Nigeria making constructive criticism than writing off innovations and great ideas.
Let's build Innoson up in any little way we can. This will encourage other budding innovators.
That ROME was not built in a day...
FamilyRe: How To Divorce? My Sister's Husband Is About To Kill Her. by Gilbertman(m): 3:34pm On Mar 20, 2020
You are good being your sister's keeper. However, tread softly. Otherwise it will backfire as it did on Moses from the Israelites in the wilderness.-:Why did you bring us here to die?
1. Do you or your sister have sustaining means of support?
2. According to your story, it is a matter of life and death, most earlier contributors on this thread have advice wisely. Let your sister 'rapala" away first to your own house, or any other safe place for the moment. (but with the CoroCovid, I don't know how practical or safe that will be).
3. Look up and PM those that advice wisely and seek further help from them.
Wishing you and your sister the best in the situation, but be aware the aftermath and after effect may not be what you or her bargain for( Begining of a war is usually documented, who knows who will be around to record the end?)
RomanceRe: A Friend Trying To Snatch My Girlfriend by Gilbertman(m): 1:34pm On Mar 05, 2020
Hi @OP,
You may want to work on yourself, as it seems you are not sensitive to the lady's inner feelings and emotions. How could you not let her have idea of your house and general information? 2. If it's true you met her through the third guy, in his house, how come the lady forgot that and allowed herself to be introduced as...? When you met and started with the girl, did none in your friend's house aware of this. You are definitely missing something or hiding something. " Two individuals don't miss a lie...." Then the story about the sickness, hospital etc The lady seems strong to embarked on the journey looking for you, while she's still recuperating....somethings don't add up in that line....
As it were, at this stage, all players in your posted movie being adults, especially your so called friend and your girlfriend, best exit is to let sleeping dog lie. Move on and work on yourself, pray and hope for the one to appreciate and complement you.

Hi Missy,
I hope you received this. I followed the recipe and direction to make food. I would like some guide on avoiding the errors encountered.
1. Meat pie - the crust came out hard. Was that because of not enough butter or what did I missed?
2. Jollof rice- I figured out my mistakes here: too much pepper and cloves.
I'm glad I got the stew quite well, I just have to improve with more practice.
Thanks. And a doff of hat to all great Chef/Trainers and contributors in this food section.

MissyB3:

Well, well, let's assume the story was fake and just attention grabbing, so what? We all got an opportunity to react one way or the other and learnt from other contributors. It will be a pointer also for any one(lady) that's about to fall into such situation. And guess what, it may be real- not many are able to arranged their thoughts like you would have-'"Eni ija oba. l'o npe ara e l'okunrin'". When situation arise, even the ghost of the wise will find his/her corpse at the backyard of a foolish man/woman!

Its so easy to get you riled up sha. Would have thought you would see the story is a fuqin fake. I mean, look a the red flags naaaah....
You dated a guy for 10 years and seemed so unsure of him or his ways of life? What did u do in the 5 years he left? Why would you wanna abort,do you not have a job, support from parents and all? Which 29 year old woman comes online to solicit for advice to remove her baby in such a manner? Does she even need to say a damn thing?

Finally, the title says 'why I want abortion'.. Pretty conclusive right? Does she need to come here and say anything again? But content says 'do I abort it,please advice me'

You wasted your emotions on the topic. I don't waste mine on such
RomanceRe: My 34-Year-Old Abroad-Based Boyfriend Impregnated Me. Why I Want Abortion by Gilbertman(m): 10:09am On Feb 13, 2020
Abortion is not and should not be an option in your case.
You went in, consciously, with an idea of how the relationship may turn out.
As it were, you have a responsibility to live for you, your family and the unborn child/twins/triplets. smiley
I hope the guy will turn around and stand up to some responsibility down the line.
Otherwise, you can always do some petitioning and file for child support- just need to get yourself a good lawyer. And I trust the resources Nairaland has- as regard learned nairalanders.
Let's have follow up as regard how things turn out when you have the baby. I believe Mr Osewa, the admins and who is who can collaborate with us all for a moderate baby shower...
Things happen... be happy you were able to get pregnant- pray that you carry it successfully. The gentleman's act, inaction or behavior is least of your problem(s) for now.

Strongmercy123:
Good evenin everyone. Pls I need a word of wisdom and advice from matured minds here. I’m 28 yrs I will be 29 in 2days.

I feel I’m about to make a life mistake. I have been dating my bf for 10yrs now, yes I was young and independent as at that time, the love was so sweet that we could do anything for each other. My bf left the country 5yrs ago and since then it has been long distance relationships, our communication was good.

He visited Nigeria December last yr and left the first week of January. He Begged me to wait for him again and I agreed. I’m currently pregnant and I’m scared to keep the baby, I spoke to him about it and he was happy.

Recently he is complaining of not having money and all. he has suddenly change with the way he talk to me and he doesn’t even have plans for me. He hardly calls and hardly pick my calls. I have tried to talk to him about his recent attitude and he will always end up calling me nag.

I’m thinking about going for abortion but I don’t know if it’s a great choice. He is 34yrs, pls I need advice.

I have been experiencing a recurring toothache over the last five years. It seems to defy all medications, nothing I haven't done. I have even removed a tooth before now, yet the pain reappeared in two teeth again. I don't want to remove a tooth again. What can I do please?

Please move this to the front page. Others will need to gain from this, toothache seems to be a common problem in Nigeria.
Hi, I can feel your frustration and pain. Have you consider getting out the 4 wisdom teeth? In my case after 3 different dentists advice that I remove mine, I yielded, and am better for it now. Initially, I thought it was a scam to get money to the maxillofacial surgeon. Probably you should do the x-ray and determine if the teeth are not crowded for the available space. The pains could be from survival of the fittest and strongest. In summary, see a good dentist...

I just want to appreciate you guys. I do cook in those days, but over time, I lost the handle from luxury of having people do it for me. Recently, I find myself having to do all the cooking, so I just do it to the best of my effort. But I know it's not like what people do. So I look over some stew topic yesterday from the library/archives. I am glad to say, I got it almost to the T.
So this is just a shout out to all you here that gives training and lectures. You are all a life saver!!! Thanks.

Could be correct. However, it is traditional, and rooted in deep and enviable heritage. For distinguishing identification too. Observed many of the International forms, tribal marks are recognized and provisions allowed for.
