Kudos to the brains at Innoson Motors. I have been following the story of the Organization. Very good things coming from Nigeria. I believe if we all chip in/patronize, at least one purchase each from the Company, we will be helping ourselves and Nigeria a lot. Please note, as some folks here have rightly pointed out, every vehicles in the world have some idea from or resemblance to the next one. I am aware the Innoson designers know better than to make outright design copy. In the meantime, folks that noted one or two similarity(ies) to a known brand can suggest in drawing via email to the Company what alterations can be input. We can do well in Nigeria making constructive criticism than writing off innovations and great ideas. Let's build Innoson up in any little way we can. This will encourage other budding innovators. That ROME was not built in a day... |
You are good being your sister's keeper. However, tread softly. Otherwise it will backfire as it did on Moses from the Israelites in the wilderness.-:Why did you bring us here to die? 1. Do you or your sister have sustaining means of support? 2. According to your story, it is a matter of life and death, most earlier contributors on this thread have advice wisely. Let your sister 'rapala" away first to your own house, or any other safe place for the moment. (but with the CoroCovid, I don't know how practical or safe that will be). 3. Look up and PM those that advice wisely and seek further help from them. Wishing you and your sister the best in the situation, but be aware the aftermath and after effect may not be what you or her bargain for( Begining of a war is usually documented, who knows who will be around to record the end?) |
Hi @OP, You may want to work on yourself, as it seems you are not sensitive to the lady's inner feelings and emotions. How could you not let her have idea of your house and general information? 2. If it's true you met her through the third guy, in his house, how come the lady forgot that and allowed herself to be introduced as...? When you met and started with the girl, did none in your friend's house aware of this. You are definitely missing something or hiding something. " Two individuals don't miss a lie...." Then the story about the sickness, hospital etc The lady seems strong to embarked on the journey looking for you, while she's still recuperating....somethings don't add up in that line.... As it were, at this stage, all players in your posted movie being adults, especially your so called friend and your girlfriend, best exit is to let sleeping dog lie. Move on and work on yourself, pray and hope for the one to appreciate and complement you. |
How come there are more "male"profiles viewing or in this section than the "females"? Trust issue or there are more single men than women? |

Hi Missy, I hope you received this. I followed the recipe and direction to make food. I would like some guide on avoiding the errors encountered. 1. Meat pie - the crust came out hard. Was that because of not enough butter or what did I missed? 2. Jollof rice- I figured out my mistakes here: too much pepper and cloves. I'm glad I got the stew quite well, I just have to improve with more practice. Thanks. And a doff of hat to all great Chef/Trainers and contributors in this food section. MissyB3:

https://www.cnn.com/2020/02/13/asia/nigerian-students-stranded-wuhan-intl/index.html I would like to use this medium to draw attention to a CNN post seen today. What it's to be a Nigerian? |
Well, well, let's assume the story was fake and just attention grabbing, so what? We all got an opportunity to react one way or the other and learnt from other contributors. It will be a pointer also for any one(lady) that's about to fall into such situation. And guess what, it may be real- not many are able to arranged their thoughts like you would have-'"Eni ija oba. l'o npe ara e l'okunrin'". When situation arise, even the ghost of the wise will find his/her corpse at the backyard of a foolish man/woman! luminouz: |
Abortion is not and should not be an option in your case. You went in, consciously, with an idea of how the relationship may turn out. As it were, you have a responsibility to live for you, your family and the unborn child/twins/triplets. I hope the guy will turn around and stand up to some responsibility down the line. Otherwise, you can always do some petitioning and file for child support- just need to get yourself a good lawyer. And I trust the resources Nairaland has- as regard learned nairalanders. Let's have follow up as regard how things turn out when you have the baby. I believe Mr Osewa, the admins and who is who can collaborate with us all for a moderate baby shower... Things happen... be happy you were able to get pregnant- pray that you carry it successfully. The gentleman's act, inaction or behavior is least of your problem(s) for now. Strongmercy123: |

Ramanto:Hi, I can feel your frustration and pain. Have you consider getting out the 4 wisdom teeth? In my case after 3 different dentists advice that I remove mine, I yielded, and am better for it now. Initially, I thought it was a scam to get money to the maxillofacial surgeon. Probably you should do the x-ray and determine if the teeth are not crowded for the available space. The pains could be from survival of the fittest and strongest. In summary, see a good dentist... |
MissyB3:I just want to appreciate you guys. I do cook in those days, but over time, I lost the handle from luxury of having people do it for me. Recently, I find myself having to do all the cooking, so I just do it to the best of my effort. But I know it's not like what people do. So I look over some stew topic yesterday from the library/archives. I am glad to say, I got it almost to the T. So this is just a shout out to all you here that gives training and lectures. You are all a life saver!!! Thanks. |
What an insight thread. I am not surprised that no comment enough to push this to the front-page...seems people are more interested in soft news and such.. I suggest the Mods or Seun devise an exclusive criterion to get articles on this section to the front-page,'cause believe me.. the black hole in people need knowledge and awareness of what's out there in the universe.. |
Mr Aboki: https://global3.memecdn.com/noahs-ark_o_54226.jpgAll has been good, educating and entertaining so far... but this one here is really serious... Whoever conceived this pics is something else... I cant just stop laughing. Somebody on nairaland will win someone over with laughter someday... |
I remember also my 1st plane trip from Germany to Mexico, I kept all the buns, mayonnaise, milk, butter and some of the soda given me, and feasted on them like a week! Funny now, but it make sense at that time. I figure more or less, they come with the ticket, why not take now and eat later. And they helped me a lot, 'cause I couldn't speak a word of Spanish, don't know where to get what, and when I got to one restaurant, I couldn't see any word familiar,no picture, nothing. It was hell. I had to ask around for who speaks english to tell me what is rice, and I was told it was arrossi, and I said oh mine , I should have recollect the phrase " iresi aroso" from back then in naija! ![]() |

dotcom_na_me_na_me: I remember my first party outing in London 9 years ago, i was helping the celebrant picking some empty drinking bottles so as to keep them safe not to get broken. LOLMine was about the electric and ironing. As soon as I unpacked , I started ironing! My host ask me why didn't(don't) I rest etc, I said I need to take advantage of the light before it goes off... u should hear his laughter and my embarrassment when he explained that light out is rare here ![]() |
Lilimax: But there are some tribal marks that sucksCould be correct. However, it is traditional, and rooted in deep and enviable heritage. For distinguishing identification too. Observed many of the International forms, tribal marks are recognized and provisions allowed for. Compare tatoo of nowadays and what Westerners...probably most everywhere do to their body. |
D lion'sheart:I observed the images, and came to the same conclusions. It was a paint work. Check the blouse collar, and the dilation of the eyes etc. As well, the original tribal mark were so indelible that no amount of pigment could fill it up to obliteration that the traces will not be seen. |
