Hello Fam! Pls need quick advice. I have a friend whose family is into this carer business In the UK. I have seen a couple of the family members travel through this route.

Long story cut short, I enquired how it's done and was referred to the company's representative here in Nigeria. We spoke and he told me it would cost about 4m, exams and all inclusive.

So please guys what do you think? Should I jump on this?
Jump ó. That's cheap

English Language requirement is a MUST. I successfully switched from dependant visa to Tier 2 and I used ECCTIS. Other ways of proving your English language can be found on the gov website and IELTS is one of them.
How did you go about the ECCTIS? And did your partner do it too?

Has anyone switched from a Dependant visa to Tier 2 here recently? Did you have to write UKVI ielts for visa application?

Guys please help!!!

Which of these is more relevant for HCW in UK?

A certificate of training or a letter of recommendation from the employers where one is doing care giver training.

Please the decision is urgent.
Get both if you can. They value experience here over certificates as they will train you.

Please house, how and where can I deposit cash into my Revolut account?

I brought the cash from Naija.

Thanks
I will advise you to open a traditional bank and deposit the money. You can then transfer it to your Revolut account.

Our people’s inability to mind their own business sometimes does my head in. I just don’t get why everyone was jumping on the OP’s case and suggesting they buy a dead arse car instead, and somehow implying that buying a £6k car is a bad idea, when they clearly don’t know who the OP is and what they can and cannot afford. It’s crass ignorance, poverty mentality or lazy generalisation at best. Not everyone that uses finance to buy something really needs the money - sometimes it’s just better to go that route, for so many reasons including credit profile building, extra liquidity and access to emergency funds, etc. I generally prefer spending other people’s free or cheap money while smiling at mine sitting pretty in my high earning savings or investment account lol. Imagine telling someone that has always driven a new/almost new car their entire life back home to buy a £1k 15-20 years old car in the name of being a foreign student. If that car doesn’t kill them, it’s going to be the reason they fail grin

Lmao see essay telling people to mind their business. Sorry

Sorry we are only offering sponsorship to Zimbabweans
Sorry we are only offering sponsorship to indians
But some care homes i contacted that are run by Nigerians will tell u outrightly that they are not offering sponsorship. Na we dey do ourselves oh. One Ope a yoruba woman with one carehome like that no even let me land as she hear say i am from Nigeria. Another one i called today even saw my number and i recognized her Nigerian accent and she no let me land too NO SPONSORSHIP. Our Nigerian brothers and sisters in uk una well-done oh.
It’s because some Nigerians are getting sponsorship then not showing up to the organization that sponsored them

I will advice you calm down on the agency thing and try doing it yourself. Unless you have seen someone they have assisted successfully.
It’s something you can do yourself. And even people in the uk using Agents pay more than 2m so this package is kinda looking somehow. I have my uk friends doing this themselves too because agents are not smiling.
Again if you are sure go ahead but be very careful.

Agents in the UK are asking for £9000 for everything so this 1.6m is obviously a scam. But you can go ahead and do it if you have the money to spare.

Hello,
If you coming in with a student visa to UK, can you get car loan?
I mean having £3,000 deposit for a £6000 car, is it possible to get monthly payment loan ?

Why do you want an expensive car when you just landed? There are used cars between 1-1500

You go use TLS here in the UK. Check the French Embassy's website for the form and process.
I know TLS dey Manchester and Edinburgh (I used to live in Manchy and I now live in Edinburgh, so have used both centres) so it depends on where you are. Edinburgh covers all those who live in Scotland.

You can apply up to 6 months before your planned date of travel, and they simply require 3 months' payslips if you're employed, not sure what the requirements are for students, a letter from your school, I would think. A bank statement showing enough funds to cover a planned stay is OK, I think there's a calculation basis of 60 euro per day or something like that. I usually print 3 months worth of bank statements along with the payslips.

The application process is straightforward - Manchester TLS is not, it can be crowded and the staff so-so, Edinburgh is way better.

Thank you very much. I'm in England, I will have to brave the Manchester crowd.

Thanks.
There is HCA band 3 for NHS.
Just want to know if NHS is prefer to care home and do they offer full sponsorship?

Oh really. I didn't know there is band 3 HCA in nhs. Thanks for the info.
And yes, NHS offer full sponsorship.
The advantage of NHS over care home is that, you won't have to pay nhs surcharge fees but the work load can be a lot and it's not as flexible as care homes.

Why is that only care homes is talk about on this platform. Does it mean HCA NHS not good?
Do NHS tick maintenance for CoS?
NHS can only give COS for band 3 salaries and above. HCA is band 2 salary. I did two interviews with different nhs and I passed but they couldn't offer me sponsorship. I'm already living in England o

Can you imagine if this was the only comment saying its ok. That how the applicant oladipop will go and use that result only to get rejection and all the money spent on visa lost and wasted .

Although gistbite i know you probably meant no harm and just missed the 3.5 score
