Hello house, please how long after birth do you have to apply for a dependent visa for your child if you are on a tier 2 VISA? We don't intend to travel for a while. Thank you

Sad!

I feel for you and understand your frustration. Imagine being offered food vouchers - I am glad you did not accept because some people are so greedy that they take anything free on offer.

The issue of kids eating every hour is one that I can relate or understand. I put that issue solely down to my missus that has come to join and was the sole carer of the children in Nigeria.

Even this morning, a half term weekend, one of them has just had a small amount of cereal with milk and a cup of hot chocolate. Said, she was full! How come? Not even have toast or apple but within an hour, she will be asking for snacks.

The missus feed then junk and mostly sweetened items; cereals, waffles, dough nuts and lots of crisps and biscuits and sweets - she is also the chief officer of eating all them sugar and snack type foo; now moved on to maccyDsvand KFCs. Nja has done her and she has done the kids - they rarely eat vegetables or variety of food - even Nja food is not eaten anymore; Yanga!

Anyways, try and make sure the children get up early and eat well and not having to snack every hour..

As for discipline - this is not Nigeria; all the shouting and threats and even beating will not work and kids talk to each other and teachers; sometimes things come out innocently and other times they are tricked or cajoled based on bias or innocent comments.

Child says to teacher, there is so much noise and disruption in class; these will not happen in my old school in nja, they will be flogged - green light to interrogate what is happening at home...

I should also add that one of mine is entitled to free lunch or food but we go with packed lunch because they do not like school food or eat what they have on the menu; things that are good for them. Missus just give them mostly rubbish and the occasional fruits and yogurt if she can be bothered. They are even entitled to fruits and yogurt anyways.

Snacking from lunch box is probably not allowed if they are on school meals... They are generally not allowed to be dipping into lunch boxes at an early age.

Welcome to the UK where parenting is different and made even more difficult by the woke attitudes of the do-gooders... Good luck. Keep

your head and that of your family down!
You keep saying missus is giving them junks. Don't you live in the house with them?

Care visa is a bird in hand for most people here and if you are truly determined, you can volunteer for unpaid work in your preferred field and after 5 years, you pursue it fully.

If you are brave, do post study visa and hope your skills and experience will land you a Sponsored job.

Guys please. How exactly do these agents have these cos links. To make dem charge these crazy fees to secure job for someone from naija.

How exactly do they go about getting the links?

Do they liase with the employers here in uk
Or do these employers get a cut from what the agents are charging naija people

Or the agents just simply do the hard work of looking for employers in need of staffs oversea willing to sponsor, and they charge naija people for the stress they went through for finding the employer

All of the above

Short term solution....if they do this then it would be nigh on impossible for them to be anofficial couple in the UK(if they still plan to be together) or for the husband to regularise his status through the wife (if this is what they were hoping)

If he can avoid getting caught till his child becomes a citizen, he can claim asylum.

Not only when you work for the bolded and also not only when you are the bolded.
If it’s you alone, good! And if you have dependants, you can do this below.

- The main applicant and his or her dependants can all get a refund that would be lodged directly into the account used in making the same payment initially.
- As long as you work in healthcare; either with care homes, Independent living, Domiciliary, NHS or whatever, you qualify.
- When applying, ensure your application (payslips) timeframe starts from March of the year under review to avoid rejection.
- If the main applicant (MA) and his dependant work in healthcare, they only need an application that will include all their details.
However, If their timeframe isn’t the same, they can decide to do it separately.

Remember me when the ££££ enter o, just a bottle of O’mara’s Salted Caramel Irish cream will do cool

What if you have Switched to Tier 2 VISA. Can you still get the refund? Family of 3

Good day seniors in the house. I just got my student visa and I would study in Dundee Scotland. I need y’all advise on how to get a job (anything that can put some money in my pocket for the now) haven’t worked 9-5 for many years now. I would actually want a driving job because driving is one of my hobbies. I know it wouldn’t be easy and I’m prepared for the worst. Any hint or advise please. God bless y’all.

Do temporary jobs while you get your driving licence, car and insurance.

Visa alert!!!
Biometrics - 16th November
Collection mail - 8th December

6 months visit visa granted

Funny thing is I was almost discouraged from applying because some things did not feel right
- My mum's statement of account was not organized at all. Even when I applied, I did not add a cover letter to explain the transactions
- Her business was not registered
- We had only family pictures as ties with Nigeria, nothing else

I went ahead to apply because I really need my mum here and I can't wait for another 6 months to build an account for application. God just decided to show me mercy.
Sometimes it depends on the ECO that vets your application. Just pray you don't enter the hands of some very strict ECOs

Ps: Don't be like me o. Do your due diligence before application. What worked for A may not work for B
What documents did you submit please. I want to invite my mom next year

CoS is £1,000 per year and 1 CRIMINAL is asking you to bring money that you can use to run Masters in the UK? CoS is paid for by the employer and the Employer ONLY

I need to stress that anyone asking for money before getting you a job or issuing CoS is a CRIMINAL. Genuine agents get paid by the Employers not the Applicants. DON'T SCAM YOURSELVES!!!

Lol COS is one time payment of £199. The agents are charging based on the demand for it and they eliminate you searching and doing 100s of interviews.

And yes, the money is too much.

Not entirely true

Even though some employers might cause delays for themselves by submitting incomplete documents, CoS takes weeks to months to be ready.

Are you aware that there are standard and priority services when employers apply for CoS?

These services attracts extra payments.

It’s CoS allocation that takes 24hrs or less
COS can be issued within hours if you pay for priority.

Of course.
A comparison site will lead you to some finance companies, and if you check your bank app and you could probably get a quote in the app, depending on the bank.
Otherwise go onto your internet banking site.
Interest rate will be the determining factor, it varies depending on your circumstances such as how long you've lived in the UK and a variety of other factors the algorithms are set up to crunch, including amount and loan term. Some run hard credit checks.

I've been here 9months.I do not have any outstanding debts/loan. I'll check the bank website too. Thank you

Hopefully this clarifies it and I will just keep the email for future ref.

Lol i will sha advice you not to take this offer from the school no matter the email they sent you.

Evening all.
For those in UK who already applied for Tier2 and received COS.

An applicant made job application on Indeed for care jobs.
This email was received after the application
1. Are you happy to relocate to surrounding areas for this role?
2. Do you have previous care experience in the UK?
3. What is your current Right to Work (your Visa) in the UK, and when does it expire?
4. Do you hold a valid full UK or International Driving License?
5. Do you have use of a vehicle for work?
6. Are you male or female?
7. Are you happy to complete a probation period UP TO 12 weeks before obtaining the sponsorship, to ensure you are happy in the role before sponsorship commences?
8. Are you happy to pay a £3k referral fee to put you forward to one of our clients offering the sponsorship?

Is this genuine offer?
