So i have been working in a care home for about a month now to gain UK experience (while I search for a company that can sponsor me) and apart from the physical training and courses they have given me, they also signed me up to get a Care Certificate https://greymatterlearning.co.uk/

I will advise anyone still searching to take the course. It's only £5 for a month subscription and you can do as much course as you like. Plus it is recognized by the Care Homes and agencies here.

Thank you. I have created an account since, I get notifications about new jobs too but most are full time permanent ones.
Its difficult getting into care jobs too because I have no experience and driver's license.

Most care jobs don’t need experience as they will train you. Try searching for Agencies in your area and call or go to their office.

Good day all,
Hope you are all well

I was advised to create an account and state my issue.
My husband is a student in the UK studying Data science and I'm spouse dependent. We also have kids.
My dilemma is that I was offered two jobs in care. One will offer sponsorship and the other won't. The one with sponsorship is in England and we are in Glasgow scotland.
The one that won't offer sponsorship are in Glasgow and are on the sponsor list. I checked but they are still claiming that they can't offer sponsorship. I don't want to go to England because the job is domiciliary care which means driving and driving for hours and only getting paid for time spent with clients. Which means I may never get to see my children who are still very young.
I just feel 5 years is a long time to be miserable and unhappy because of trying to get ILR
A friend advised me to take the non sponsorship one and try to convince them and secondly, to keep looking for another job with sponsorship in Scotland.
Our visa will expire in January 2023.
I'm really confused on what to do. Am I being crazy for even thinking of not taking the job with sponsorship? I really need wise advice. Thank you in advance

Babe, please take the sponsorship job and switch your husband to a dependent visa that way he can choose to go to school online or even defer and work anywhere.
See the end goal is ILR. I'm also in this same situation and if I get that opportunity I'm moving.

I am planning on applying for dependent visa for my kids. The name on the birth certificate reads " Uchenna David Oke*****', while the name on the passport reads "David Uchenna Oke*****". I hope this won't be a problem when I eventually apply for them? Justwise, please help.
It doesn't matter. My daughter's birth certificate is I.O but passport is Ó.I surname.

Please how long did your interview last?

Did you do it virtually from Nigeria or in person in the UK?

Did you use a Gmail Reference or business email reference please?

Expect to hear from you.

The interview was about twenty minutes.
I did a physical interview in UK.
Business email for references. It should be part of the places you listed that you have worked with.

There is no need to make a council claim then, just take them to a nursery or school and they get it automatically.

I always advise nursery instead of schools though because of flexibility. School will be 3hrs session for the week and no holiday period. This can be stressful when combined with work.
But with nurseries, you can always blend/use it how you want and add additional hrs, they open holiday period etc.

Thank you so much for this detailed information.

Pls which schools give admission fast with no pre-cas?

I have target schools already, but they all seem to take about two months to decide, which means it will be quite close to resumption.

Also, they require pre-cas, which means the success is highly contingent.

I feel the need to get a sure bet.

Pls advise

Is that official enough or it won't work.

This is not needed for 15 hours but what I noticed a lot of schools nolonger know how to process 15hours. They are so use to 30 hours that they confuse the two requirements, even when you are trying to explain they don't get it. You might have to be patient and go through many back and forth till it resolve

Submit what you have and how you have it . .... I am sure they would review and still admit because 15hours is given to all children over 3 regardless of anything
Alright thank you.

You did not get his question.
He is not filling employment form but the UK visa application form except you got a visa picking official transcript.

NARIC requires degree and not official transcript. Therefore, the answer is Degree.

I thought he meant referral email address.

Is it an application for 30hrs ? Because that will count as public funds. If you need a space for your the usual 15hrs,
just look for nurseries around you and apply for a space and its automatically applied for by the nursery. No need to make a council application.
Alright thank you. We will go tomorrow.

Meanwhile when does your child turn 4? Cos school application is closed for Sept 2022 and you may need to apply for a primary place asap

It’s an application for 15hrs. She turned 3 in February and we are hoping to get a spot for April term.

What are the details requested?

National insurance payment
Tax payment.

Now, my partner is a student and is tax exempt; so on his pay slips, they only remove nin fees.
I’ve been working temporarily before this full time work and my pay slip too, only nin money was removed.
The application is asking for both.

I really appreciate what everyone had said, as you are ready to help with your personal experience, may God help you....my question is what type of reference exactly can someone use for the healthcare workers or Care Assistance position jobs...i remember someone ask this same question sometimes back... Am confused, must the referral email be official email? Like e.g email@the company.com or any email atall so far it is a working email... please this is urgent I need to know because my both referral I plan to use are using Gmail.com

Official is best. That’s what I used and I was offered employment.
