Veteran American Singer, Akon announced Monday that he has finalized an agreement for the establishment of Akon City in Senegal.

In an Instagram post of a photo from the deal-finalizing moment, he told fans he was “looking forward to hosting you there in the future.”

The Senegalese decent, initially announced plans for the futuristic “Crypto city” in 2018 saying that the city would be built on a 2,000-acre land gifted to him by the President of Senegal, Macky Sall.

Similarly, the new city would also trade exclusively in his own digital cash currency called AKoin, he said.

The official website for the city would be a five-minute drive from the West African state’s new international airport.

A magistrate court sitting in Lagos has dismissed a car theft charge filed by the police against Naira Marley and others.

Hence, the Chief Magistrate Tajudeen Elias struck out the four counts and dismissed the case after receiving a settlement agreement between the complainant, Mr. Adelekan Ademola, and the four defendants.

Moreso, Naira Marley and his two brothers, Idris Fashola, Babatunde Fashola and cousin, Kunle Obere, were the defendants in the case.

They were all charged with conspiracy, stealing, assault, and obstructing the police from arresting Marley.

However, Naira Marley was absent in court, but the other defendants were present.

Nigerian gospel singer, Frank Edwards reveals that his profession is not a profitable business and those who go into it for the money, will end up getting disappointed.

The Instagram model embarked on an unprecedented fund raising scheme following the catastrophic Australian wildfire crisis.

American rapper, Lil Wayne, might be in a hell of trouble as Federal agents found guns and drugs when they executed a search warrant on rapper his private jet at a Miami airport on Monday evening.

According to Page6ix, agents from the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives boarded the plane at the Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport after obtaining a federal search warrant, the Miami Herald reported.

Officers from the Miami-Dade County department got a tip that marijuana and firearms may have been transported on the plane and alerted federal authorities so they could get the warrant.

The Ooni of Ife no doubt had an amazing time with children during an end of the year program organized by his beautiful queen, Olori Naomi Ogunwusi (Yeyeluwa). The occasion tagged; Children Funfair with Olori Naomi, was held at the Ile Oodua palace of Ife.

Along the line, the Ooni of Ife gave concrete and reasonable advises to the children for them to hold on to.

“If you look around our country, you will realize that programmes and policies of governments at all level favour the youths and the elderly, leaving behind the children who are leaders of tomorrow,' Yeyeluwa noted.

On the motivation behind the program, Queen Naomi explained that it is a product of her love for the young children, adding that they must be well tutored and mentored.

“An avenue like this through which children come together to sing, dance and play a lot of games help in putting them in the right frame of mind,” Queen Naomi!

In a message to the Ooni and Olori Naomi, Mrs. Oroyemi Elizabeth who is the proprietress of Covenant Orphanage Home lauded the duo for the program with her statement.

“Everybody knows that the Ooni is our father who has been there for us, and I am not surprised when I realized that our mother, the queen is taking after him by catering for the poor and less privileged members of the society. I appreciate them both and I pray that God Almighty will continue to bless them.”

Similarly, the seven-year-old Olufunke Faseyi who could not hide her joy also thanked the queen for creating such a wonderful event and for the gifts she got.
