Pastor Tunde Bakare insists that he will be the next president of Nigeria in 2023 after Buhari steps down while speaking to his congregation on Sunday, 29th of September.

Sequel to a video that was circulated on social media last week about Pastor Tunde Bakare of Latter Rain Assembly making a declaration while preaching to his congregation that he will be the next president of Nigeria, LIB reported that the clergyman said:

Although the video of him making the declaration about becoming Nigeria’s 16th President was in February 2018, he is still certain that his declaration will come to pass.



“I’ll probably be the first President preaching on Sunday. Some are saying supposing it does not work; that is your opinion; when it works, I’ll invite you to the table. You think at this age I will deny things I said. It was mischief makers that took it from one year, seven months and then there was a publication in Tribune on Saturday and they circulated the thing on Sunday; even baba, Kabiesi Awujale said, ‘Ah, ah, the great pastor, you made this declaration and I don’t know anything about it?’ and I said, ‘Baba, it’s not true’ But you said this on Sunday in your church!’ and I said, ‘Sunday, when?’”

He further explained why he was so particular about being the 16th President of Nigeria:

“You think this is an overnight thing? Go to my father’s house and count all the steps; in that house there are 16 steps. And I say it to those who care to listen; when that time comes, get ready, I will reach my goal. I meant everything I said. It was deliberately so,”

It was a feast of insults in the Big Brother house this morning between Tacha and Mercy which nearly resulted in physical confrontations between the duo.
It all started when the housemates were waiting for Mercy to join them in a meeting summoned by the Head of house, Seyi. As the other housemates got impatient waiting and calling for Mercy, Tacha yelled at Mercy repeatedly telling her to “Sleep there oooo”. Mercy could not bottle up the Tacha’s incessant yell and responded by calling her names. Not ignoring the fact that Mercy’s actions were triggered by Cindy’s words who lied to Mercy that Tacha called her names.


The fight went on for a while and saw both of them bodyshaming themselves. The one that caught most social media users attention was when Mercy said Tacha had body odour. Mercy kept pressing the issue of Tacha having a terrible smell and this resulted in Tacha pulling Mercy’s hair. Mercy’s rage was visible as she picked an object to hit Tacha with but Omashola was just right in time to obstruct the swing she aimed at Tacha.\

Nollywood actor, Saidi Balogun has responded to a recent scam allegations levelled against him by actress Tayo Sobola, popularly known as Satoyagaga.

According to him, he was equally a victim to the scammer named Idris Bello who introduced him to a Hajj trip but he didn’t show any interest until he showed him a copy of his colleague, Ibrahim Chatta’s advert which he has been doing for his company.

He wrote:

Hello Everyone,

I want to address the issue attempting to drag my name in the mud of social media. I would have ignored the matter but I realized that keeping quiet would further fuel the misconceptions and put me in a bad light.

Firstly, I wasn’t involved in any scam rather, I’m equally a victim. This is not a decision to hate or indict anyone but to clear things up.

A man named IDRIS BELLO came to me a few weeks ago and introduced a Hajj trip package. I wasn’t interested initially until he showed me a copy of my colleague IBRAHEEM CHATTA’S advert which he has been doing for his company. I was convinced knowing how well Chatta is very versed on religion and Islamic matters, so I decided to give it a shot but i didnt record any Visual and radio jingle for him except my picture that he used on his flyers.

A few days later, he pleaded with tears in his eyes that I should get some of my junior colleagues in the industry to buy into the traveling packages, he further explained that he had invested 20million naira already on the project and he was running into a huge loss.
His story seemed convincing, so I decided to encourage him by introducing MUSTAPHA SHOLAGBADE (versed in Islam)and SHOTAYO SHOGBOLA to his package.

During his birthday at Oriental hotels, VI, where he proposed to his fiancee in the presence of my self Lateef Oladimeji, Ibraheem Charter, Shotayo, Mustapha. The gathering gave me a total conviction that the man is up to the task. I felt that if he could bring us all under one roof in one day, he might be able to pull bigger jobs. I guess I was wrong. I decided to run an advert for his package which he paid like 0.5% of the deal we earlier agreed on and complained there was little or no turnout, I believed him and took further steps.
Before I knew it he had collected money from these people, he equally collected two hundred thousand naira from me when he claimed he had problem asides two other people which he promised to give free trip from Ibadan, Approximately, he took over four hundred thousand naira (400k) even after he had promised them a free trip.

He also added:

the two people came to me that they had no money for international passport, which I fund them from my pocket to do the intl passport aside that, I also bare the cost of there trip from Ibadan to Lagos and the hotels and feeding on account of my goodwill.
After I had done all these expenses, Idris ran to me again, that he had issues he wants to solve, my self and Ibrahim Chatta came to his rescue and I am also aware Ibraheem also borrowed him 200k.
Along the line, Shotayo said she was no longer interested. But a week after I heard that the people Shotayo told earlier paid, which left me to confuse and shocked.
Unknowingly we got to the boarding plane only to find out that the booking he claimed he had made was not reflecting. He didn’t show up with the two other people’s passport/Visa either. Right there, we were left with two options either to report to the authorities or escalate the matter via social media platforms. My self and Ibrahim Chatta decided to let the matter rest and let God judge our actions according to intentions while we ponder on the next line of action. But later we thought of other victims that were involved who may not be willing to take such step because of the amount involved.
So, we set two options for ourselves either to go as a group to complain to the Authorities which others obliged or individual take it up and once there is a need to report to the Authorities we all make ourselves available.
Mustapha Sholagbada told me Sotayo had reported the matter to the police and she had collected a letter from Higher Authorities, which make me at peace that all is in control,
And each time Shotayo reports me to people, I try as much as possible to call but she declined to speak to me and never returned my calls. I don’t hold this against her because I reasoned she might be angry.
I was totally alarmed to see my name being dragged on social media for sins I never committed.
But i am really inquisitive about this, when did social media becomes the highest Authority in Nigeria that is greater than the law enforcement Angencies?

When has it become a crime to make a referral for colleagues? When we know that referral is the
life wire of entertainers.
My intention for bringing my colleagues on board was clear and noble as I never knew it would end this way.
Am very inquisitive about this, If everything went well,will I have the same accolades on social media like this ?

Nevertheless, necessary investigations are still going on and we will alert the public as things unfold.
In conclusion
I will advise the public to beware of fake journalists who for their selfish interests do copy and paste without proper investigation. Only God knows how many lives and career have been ruined to such a heinous act.

Nollywood actress Tayo Sobola, popularly known as Satoyagaga, has accused colleague Saidi Balogun and Mustipha Sholagbade of introducing her to a man who turned out to be a fraudster.

According to a post she shared on her instagram, she revealed that the actors came to her some months ago and introduced her to a man identified as Idris, who claimed to sponsor trips to Hajj. Sobola also went on to explain how she was convinced by her colleagues into becoming an ambassador for Idris’s company.

The actress further explained that she had promoted his business on her when she discovered that the man had duped many of her contacts and had disappeared. She said all efforts to contact the man has proven futile as he has not been responding to her calls and that Said Balogun has refused to talk to her ever since.

However, she has called out her colleagues on social media for them help her get in touch with the man to refund the money he took and called her followers on Instagram to please report any information they have on him to her and help her reshare his photo.

Nigerian superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, is set to make his first appearance in a Hollywood movie.

This revelation was made by Ghanaian/Liberian actor, Michael Blackson via a tweet. Going by the words of his colleague, Blackson tweeted that Davido revealed to him that he has a performance scene in the sequel to 1988 American romantic comedy, Coming To America and went on to congratulate him.

The Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, COZA has released an official press statement on Saturday, 21st of September, reacting to rape allegations laid against their Senior Pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo by Timi Dakolo’s wife, Busola Dakolo.

According a statement issued by the Executive Senior Assistant to the Senior Pastor of COZA, Ademola Adetuberu, it was stated that Fatoyinbo never raped Busola, rather it was the doing of some pastors that had been working hard to tarnish the image of their founder.

We see this ugly development fuelled by envy and sheer jealousy as an unnecessary distraction and a fight from the pit of hell against the ministry that God gave Rev. Biodun Fatoyinbo, as well as a declaration of war against the Church of Christ to which COZA is a flourishing branch under God’s grace.

As a result of the recent unprovoked satanic campaign of calumny orchestrated against the leadership and members of our church, Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) by agents of darkness, the church would like to break its silence and clear certain misconception and misinformation being churned out in order to misguide members of the church, public and relevant authorities that we do not support rape.

We stand with anyone who has been a victim of rape. We stand by our Founding and Senior Pastor, Rev. Biodun Fatoyinbo, who has been at the receiving end of organized blackmail and all sorts of attacks because of his innocence and we are sure that our faithful and unfailing God will vindicate him very soon.

As for Busola Dakolo, justice will soon be served. We would like to, again, for the record reiterate that our Senior Pastor, Rev. Biodun Fatoyinbo, has never had anything personal to do with her. Busola was not raped by Rev. Biodun Fatoyinbo and she had never been in a relationship with him either.

We are not unaware that certain pastors that felt threatened by the unprecedented growth of COZA and the grace of God upon His Servant are after some of our members, just making every effort to cash in on the attack against God’s servant. There was nothing they had not done behind the scene until this rape scandal. They are accusing our Pastor of snatching their members. Some are even asking why he couldn’t remain in Ilorin. Our focus is the Kingdom of God and winning souls for Christ. COZA is home to those who have sold out to Jesus. At COZA, we believe that every sent servant of God has his or her harvest field given to him or her by God and not by poaching souls or believers of another ministry.

Those sponsoring these evils to desist however if they do not, the God of vengeance will visit them. They should let Rev. Biodun Fatoyinbo continue freely with his divine mandate that our Lord Jesus Christ gave him. It is ungodly and sinful to be used by satan against the anointed.

Nigerian songstress, Tiwa Savage declaratively stated that she’s not the queen of Afro-beat as it will be unfair to place that title on her as every other artiste is working hard to be the best at what they do.

The songstress made this declaration on Tuesday, at a press parley in Lagos. This came after the release of her Fela inspired Afro-beat single, 49-99, as fans across the various social media affirmed that the Queen of Afro-beat has finally emerged in the person of Tiwa Savage.

“I’m flattered, I think it’s amazing that people will place that title on me but there are so many queens just like there are so many kings. You have to understand how hard we all work, you can’t limit it to one thing because Burna is doing his thing, Wizkid is also doing his own thing too. Davido, myself, Yemi Alade, Simi, everybody is working hard. And when you put the crown on one person, it makes it hard for us to do what we do.
