Studying on scholarship doesn't change the perception on Nigerian Applicant's.... It's just like coming into JFK on an airline from a drug-prone country whether you are a professor or a celebrity CBP can pull you up for secondary inspection on their own discretion...

Been following this thread for a while now and i need some advice folks...I was sent a refusal yesterday for my TRV- Study Visa, school-Okanagan College. the reasons ticked was Travel History and Purpose of travel.

SOA my brother 2.5m and 2.4m Edu Insurance
Employment letter

Accommodation support -Cousin in canada (Same school)

letter of Introduction from my company.


I need to understand my mistakes and also my next steps ....Should i start scouting admission for dec-Jan? what do i do ? Am quite confused

Hello everyone, I applied for a study permit on 19th of June 2017 paper route, my school in Kenya and South Africa where I did my private pilot training notified me that cic contacted them to confirm if I was a genuine student, what are chances of getting my TRV approved. I am going to complete my flight training in Canada and I did part of my training in South Africa and Kenya. I got my Private Pilot License.

Me i am almost faint with anticipation, i applied April 27th and i tracked my application on the 28th of June to find out that my Process Passport has been dispatched. People i didnt do Medicals (neither did i do premedicals). i hear that it might not be a good sign, well.

Now i have to wait 6 working days and trust me i already feel faint with anitcipation.

Can there be exception to the already supposed response from the embassy. will it help that i had a baby in canada last year.

Having a baby means you have been to Canada and returned to Nigeria? If so, You have already crossed a big hurdle. When did you go to Canada? The medical you used last time might still be valid. Otherwise if CIC needs it, they will request for it.

My name is Ceslause. I got admission into University of Regina for fall 2017, MA French and Francophone Intercultural Studies. I applied for Trv via paper route on 18th april 2017, with upfront medical. On 10th May,i got an email from CIC requesting for proof of my previous employment (introduction letter),which i scanned and sent to them the next day, explaining to them that i omitted putting in together with my current employment letter. Since then, i haven't heard anything from them again, though am yet to link my application to my CIC account. And 17th July will make it 12weeks, so i hope to wait it out, and by God's grace share the goodnews of Approval. I will everyone here the best
