Nawaa Oo... Nobody has talked about visa grants or even refusal here in the past 2-3 weeks!!?? Are we a joke to these people? What is going on please??!!!

If your visa was rejected, there should be some sort of consideration.

If you are referring to qlife family clinic, I confirmed the above statement.

I have successfully booked a medical test for Jan 30 hopping to receive a medical request from IRCC before then. To my surprise, after calling their officials for cancellation, they said that the money is nonrefundable.

See me see trouble! I beg nairalanders to come to our aid. Is it possible and even ideal for IRCC to be dealing with this type of people. They want to hold my money for services not rendered.

Please if anybody has experienced this kindly share with us.

That does not take time normally... when did you do your Biometrics? and when did you submit tour application online?

I am using an agency, and my Biometrics was updated today. So hopefully I get the approval soon too.

My AOR is 10th Dec.
I submitted an upfront medical and was sent to IRCC by my IOM on 18th Dec.
My biometric was done on 16th and got updated same day.
My eligibility and background check are running already. Pls is this normal and when am I likely to get a response? Thanks

Same here I am just tired. They sent me to go and do medicals which I did on the 18th of december and since then nothing and my friend thaat we went together got his visa last week of december.

Yes dummy, he's supposed to lodge at a 5 star hotel cos he wants to come to Lagos and process a 5k document....you seem to lack basic economic intelligence. Eyes on the goal not the luxury on the way. Why come from Abuja to Lagos and stay in a 40k a night hotel to get a document worth 5k....smh

Like seriously I guess it's your business so you have to support such payments. You'd pay 50k in Abuja for something that's 5k in Lagos cos of stress Abuja to Lagos is 6k the young motors....hotel 3k (it's just to sleep and wake up) tfare to alagbon 1k, 5k for certificate, 1k for food, 1k tfare bk to hotel, hotel 3k, lag to Abj 7k..... End of story. 100 parasol. Total of 29k.

Lol... have you done the calculation of Tfare from Abuja to Lagos and vice versa??... if he takes flight, its def more than 50k plus the fact that he'll still pay for the clearance at alagbon (at least 5k without connect)... if he enters public transport, he'll pay for hotel cos he can definitely not get it done and return to abj same day (tfare + stress + hotel + clearance + tfare + road stress)... its not worth it...

I dont think Police clearance is compulsory las las... maybe the gurus in the house can help out.. cheers

I will advise u come over to Lagos and do it for 5k at most.. They cant do ur Police clearance certificate in Abuja, they will have to transport it to Alagbon in lagos and take it back to Abuja, maybe that is the reason why they are asking for 50k.. So if u can come to Lagos and do it at Alagbon at 5k or less, guess that will be okay for u.. 5OK is just too much for police clearance that only have 3 month validity.. Peace

Please O house... have they closed for the year at the Kenyan embassy?? This one that no news is coming on VISA?...

Give your agent benefit of doubt for 3working days from yesterday (it takes that much sometimes for international transfer), after that, let him know you are very uncomfortable with the process and show some sign of anger for another 2 working days (that is total of 5 working days which is the maximum delay it should take for the international transfer) after the 5days, get your agent arrested!!! Your money 'll come out...

Note: after the first 3days, send a message to the school on what is going on (just to be sure the funds didnt bounce back to their account)... Best of luck!

thanks for your contribution bro, I have the receipt from the school, I saw the receipt at my student portal and the account balance showing there’s money in my student portal, my visa was denied so I ask the agent to get me back my money from the school because he paid with his VISA card and the school policy is that they will refund the money back through the Payment means, surprisingly I check my student portal this money and my account balance is zero.
