OCI Foundation Rewards Partner, Dr. Epunam With Mercedes SUV*

A non-governmental organisation with a cardinal focus on women's health and anti-cancer campaign, Onyebuchi Chris Ifediora, OCI Foundation International has awarded one of its national champion and the founder, Sweet Home Africa Humanitarian Foundation, Rev. Dr. Austin Epunam with a Mercedes ML 350 SUV.

This is in appreciation for his hard work in actualising the dreams of the group.

The vehicle was presented on behalf of the OCI Foundation by Alhaji Abdullahi Aliyu Rufai, the Foundation's Networking Manager recently in Abuja, says Charles Okoh E. A. to the OCI Foundation’s President in a statement.

Dr. Epunam in his reaction expressed gratitude to the founder of OCI Foundation, Dr. Chris Ifediora for the gift.

He applauded the harmonious working relationship that exists between his organisation and OCI Foundation.

According to Dr. Epunam, when he received invite to work with OCI Foundation, he did not hesitate because of the special focus the organisation has in promoting the health of women and enhancing their safe delivery during pregnancies.

While expressing his readiness to continue contributing his quota in ensuring that cervical cancer and other related diseases that have challenged women are fought, Dr. Epunam advised young people to be outstanding in what they do, especially through hard work and commitment.

The foundation had earlier in the year assembled women and political leaders, including Mrs. Aisha Buhari along the with wife of the Vice President, Dolapo Osinbajo, Senator representing Anambra Central, Sen. Ifeanyi Uba and Nollywood stars to witness the flag off of the Arm Our Youths, ArOY anti-cancer health campaign as part of the Foundation's activities marking the 2022 International Cancer Day.

A new neighbour however became the succour she has been longing for as she found comfort, care and love in his arms.

The relationship with the neighbour continued under the man's nose for about six months.

When the rich man discovered the wife's infidelity, he was furious, leaving her with the option of seeking divorce and to go after the neighbour.

On the date of their wedding however, the rich man could not withstand the sight of his former wife getting married to another man.

He pulled the trigger on the couple, killing them on the spot, which later landed him behind the bars.

2023: We're Only Concerned About A President Who Has Capacity To Lead — Jefferson

A youth inclusion and good governance advocate, Amb. Raymond Jefferson has said his group, Nations Builders Youth Network(NBYN) is concerned about a candidate who has character, competence and credibility to lead Nigeria as president in 2023, urging young people not to sit back but participate actively.

Speaking at a conference/inauguration of new leadership of the body in Abuja recently, he urged the youths to pay less attention to money and financial gratification but focus on those who are committed to building a new Nigeria.

He said that NBYN will at the right time announce who represents its conscience as the candidate to support in the 2023 presidential election.

He therefore commended INEC for listening to the appeal by millions of Nigerians by extending the period of the ongoing voters registration exercise.

Jefferson therefore urged Nigerians to take advantage of this extension and pick their voters cards to exercise their franchise in next year's election.

In his comment, the Development Officer, Naija Pol Analytics a member of NBYN, Usman Muhammad expressed dissatisfaction that a large number of young people in Nigeria have not been captured in the nation's voting register.

According to him, the political understanding of the masses should be enhanced so as to improve policies and programmes of politicians even before they are elected into offices, maintaining that this would help in holding leaders accountable in line with their manifestos.

Mr. Mbadugha Kenneth, the National Pol Adviser of NBYN noted that there is need to embark on mass mobilisation of youths so that they will be part of the new vision and new direction for Nigeria through their participation in the 2023 general elections.

If this is done, he said posterity will not be hard on the young people.

The National Secretary of NBYN, Ahmed Ghali appealed to the participants at conference to share in the vision of the organisation of galvanising fellow youths to participate in choosing leaders of the country at various stages, not considering anything else apart from competence.

The conference had an interactive panel session with Amb. Raymond Jefferson, Mr. Kenneth Mbadugha, Mr. Ahmed Ghali Na'abba Prince Edward 7 and moderated by Ogenna Walter Ekwubiri, founder of Motivating African Youths Initiative which is a Pan African Movement geared towards securing a better future for women and youths.

The highly engaging youth oriented event had several speakers who spoke extensively on the INEC role in the election and youth participation, amongst them is one of the guest speakers, Mr. Jeffery kuruan.

About 5000 youths Participated virtually, and many youths in-person.

SAD!!! Woman’s headless butchered remains dumped near Abuja river(Photos)


There is tension in Kubwa, a suburb of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja as residents on Monday found the butchered body of a yet-to-be-identified lady by a river in PW area, near Deeper Life Church.
It was believed to have been dumped there by suspected ritualists. The incident attracted a large crowd as residents thronged the location to catch a glimpse of the butchered and decapitated body of the lady.


Bystanders have expressed shock over the headless corpse of a niked woman packed inside two bags beside the river. The body parts were cut into pieces with blood stains on the bags. An eyewitness who spoke on condition of anonymity told said that the corpse was discovered early Monday morning following the stench coming from the spot.

He said the body might have been dumped by suspected rit*alists in the night. He said, “We saw the body this morning because of the odour that was coming from the river and when people moved closer, they found two bags with the body parts cut into pieces. We don’t know who dumped the body there but this looks like a ritual killing. “One of the ritualists may have dumped her here in the night and zoomed off.”

At the time of filing this report, some policemen from Kubwa Divisional Police station were sighted at the scene taking photographs of the corpse while the crowd lamented the tragedy. Efforts to reach the FCT police spokesperson, Josephine Adeh for a reaction were not successful. Meanwhile, the river which is located in the centre of Kubwa where the incident occurred, is being used as a refuse for trash movers, popularly known as Bolar, thereby making it difficult for the residents to identify the perpetrators.
