It was a colourful day of gifts,dances and lavish entertainment as famous Nollywood Actress ,Mrs Regina Daniels Nwoko hosted thousands of youngsters to a grand party in commemoration of this year”s Children’s day.

Mount Ned ,palatial residence of Billionaire Prince and husband of Regina,Hon. Ned Nwoko at Idumuje-Ugboko was the setting for the children’s day celebration,which was a carnival of fun.

The multitudes of kids some accompanied by their parents and other family members swarmed Regina Nwoko like a bee hive in joyous appreciation as they receive school bags, note books, pencils and other educational items.

They were also entertained with food and drinks but the high point was when prince Ned Nwoko took to the dance floor, inspiring spontaneous cheers from the children.

Youth and Gender advocate Ogenna Walter Ekwubiri Takes Relief Materials To Widows In Karu Community Abuja To Mark Birthday

In an effort to touch their lives and improve their living standards, President, World Women Leading Change Nigeria and Ex Beauty Queen, Ogenna Walter Ekwubiri at the weekend gave widows reasons to smile by visiting them with relief materials.

This was part of activities marking her birthday celebration.

The charity outreach which took place at St. Peter's Anglican Church Karu Abuja had the widows smile home with items such of food items , clothing materials and some stipends.

Some of the widows could not hide their joy as they released blessings upon her and prayed for God's provision for her.

One of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Hadiza Aliyu whose husband died in 2002 said such outreach brings hope to them, showing them that society still cares about them, praying that God will bless Ogenna abundantly.

The former beauty queen has been at the forefront of influencing young people through mentorship and support.
At an event recently in Abuja, she highlighted that beauty queens across Nigeria have the capacity to unify young people, women and bring hope to the common man.

According to her, beyond being beautiful faces, winners of pageantry shows can help inspire and ginger the spirit of can-do in young people to let them know they can achieve all they aspire in life irrespective of gender and background.

Ogenna who was recently appointed Director of Queens Affairs and Related Matters Committee of Association of Beauty Pageants, Fashion Exhibition Organisers of Nigeria, ABPFEON also said her committee will create an enabling environment for mentorship, sponsorship, development, integration, growth and leadership.

Ogenna Walter Ekwubiri is also the founder of Motivating African Youths Initiative which is a Pan African Movement geared towards securing a better future for women and youths

She was Miss Tourism Nigeria 2016/2017, Queen of Aso International 2014 and she is also a public speaker.

High Chief Christopher Ndubuisi, (Ikenga Umuawulu) Splashes N10m On Umuawulu Entrepreneurs

Construction czar and Philanthropist, High Chief Christopher Ndubuisi(Ikenga Umuawulu) has through his Foundation, (High Chief Christopher Ndubuisi foundation )
presented the whopping Sum of N10 million to 20 beneficiaries,(young entrepreneurs) through his town union, Umuawulu Progressive Union, UPU Abuja Branch.

He made the presentation on Sunday, May 8,2022 at the monthly meeting of the union which took place at Ikenga Hall, Abuja.

In his remarks, the construction czar prayed that the fund be channeled for the purpose it was meant for which is primarily to enhance the lives of members of the union in Abuja, stating that people are faced with difficulties as reflected in the Nigerian economic environment at the moment.

High Chief Christopher Ndubuisi who is also a member of the Awulu brothers in Abuja stated that the support has become important to assist those whose means of livelihood are experiencing a slow development.

He appealed to the disbursement Committee of the fund to ensure its equitable distribution and assured that more of such intervention would take place in the nearest future.

In his remarks, Chairman of Umuawulu Progressive Union, UPU Abuja Branch, Chief Ifeanyi Ogbujimma expressed gratitude to High Chief Ndubuisi for his thoughtfulness in raising the living standard of members of the union.

He applauded the philanthropist for always been at the forefront in bringing development not only to Abuja Branch of the union but home branch in Anambra. Ogbujimma prayed God to replenish the donor as his Foundation continues to touch lives.

Also speaking, the Chairlady of UPU Abuja Women Wing, Mrs. Georgina Oguaju expressed gratitude to High Chief Ndubuisi for the fund, assuring that the women will make good use of their own and prayed for more God's blessings upon him.

*Enemona Josh Humanitarian Foundation Unveiled Amidst Funfair, Actor Ken Eric, Singer Abigail Signed As Ambassadors*

A humanitarian non-governmental organisation, Enemona Josh Humanitarian Foundation was on Monday unveiled in Abuja amidst cheers and excitement as it is poised to touch the lives of less privileged Nigerians for good.

This is even as the organisation also signed as its brand Ambassadors, Nollywood actor Ken Erics and singer Abigail Omonu.

The event which took place at the prestigious Sandralia Hotel Abuja attracted the presence popular music artiste, Faze who thrilled audience with his hit songs.
