Poems For Review / Re: Write, Comment And Paste Your Poem Now! by gloatkenf(m): 2:47pm On Jul 12, 2012
Illuminati-the new world order
Now,
Wonder keeps
wondering me
For I was thrust into
a gloomy
vision,
To explore
illumination is the
mission
Therein,
Here is what I saw;
Things occurring just
now is
repleated with
naughtiness,
Affirmative
All, now, As I hobble
flutterily
Like a flapping
flamingo that lost a
fine wing
Into the blur zone of
the earth's
reality
Area, where not
even little light is
permitted,
Indibutable,
See them,
Here they come
The ganitors to the
iron-gate of
hell-fire
The wild wide
empire of serious
fire.
Illuminati- the new
world order...
Who shall sit in the
seat of its emir
Contemplation
looms in at the mo
of my arrival
Who else, but Lucifer
Blessed with
mammoth accursed
acolytes
That shall borne the
responsibilities of
the maelstrom
happenings in the
long run of all
the runners
Aye, in the selfsame
process,
I was nudged to
proceed into the
mistery of misteries
Hence, truism
clinged to my scalp
and permeated into
my brains for
my use
Plus, for the sake of
any attentive
mankind.
Listen, they are
enriched hyper-
bountifully with
world's wealth
To the state of vieing
to buy the
world herself with
dollars
They that sit in the
darkest part of
darkness
The new world order
The word makes my
heart pounce
on spiny grass
And tore me to bare
and left me
to shudder
Their world had torn
the golden
garments of the
world to shreds
Hence, shivery and
scorchiness
In the both weather
What do you expect?
Whether this is the
real expected
sign or part of
Who knows!
Yes, the symbol is a
triangle
With a treachery and
deceitful eye
in its mid
What does it means?
But, the source of
the spring
was...
The betrayal was
misjudged
Sequelled with the
eternal
rustication
Hence, they want to
avenge
Cos he wants a
revenge
O heaven!
Listen to the
mournful mind of
this iniquitor product
of yours
Make their
purnishment be too
grave in the end
Heaven, open your
mouth and let
down tens of
thousands
thunderous thunders
And tear them and
their outcomes
disintegrately
Roll off their
generations aeonly
From the visage of
the earth now
Make them mutter
that you are
right
Even from the fore of
all things
I beseech, make
them kowtow on
your foot for food
and fruit
Make their saddle be
filled with
pinchy rays of sun
Make their mind
long to serve you
Now, do it in your
ways
For who can fathom
your
calculus?
Even with the
craziest scientific
calculator ever
progenitored
For who is worthy to
stand in
your presence and
talk like an
idiot palm tree?
For the world had
been taken by
surprise
Heaven, I plea,
peregrinate on
earth with your
mighty might and
surprise
And do your will; the
sufferness
was too much on the
crux.®

I am both frownly and frankly tellin' some wet-blanketers and high blood pressurers on this sensitive thread that all aspirants on this thread i.e yes, you and me, shall earn a gainful and even astounding admission into that prestigious ivory-tower/varsity/OAU next session by God's good grace. Even, if it's only 5 candidates they shall offer an admission to, I shan't do but to be the very first to entertake the gate fee to login into the Oba Awon University via her campus gate... I am tellin' you, to hell with your aggregate, belief in God and believe in your fuckin' agility and mental capability that now is your term not any other probable/improbable time/term. Belief me sincerely, if ye belief, 'WHAT THE MIND CONCEIVES, BELIEVES IT ACHIEVES"angry

Why all this commotion?
Just in accordance to the wordings of by Wyclef
We may win the battle
While the war is still very much on
Although, war is on
Bullets piercing heads of mates or compeers
Even the hearts and vigour mouths of stout commanders and commandos
But amid all this nefarious, strait and throes occurences
Their should be a time to jest
Time to say to the remaining recruits that
Hakuna matata
For it started
So it shall end
Although, it mightn't be us that will draw the span off the tail of spanning...
But, surely, any mo from now
The end shall come to the tumultous calamities we are embrassing
Here, in this vast psychic wild wilderness
At least, let's laugh
Let's merry
Don't care about the beauteous bombs branching from heaven on our branches,
Care not about the tear-gasses moving into the lungs, via, to the systems of the little ones,
Let's be jubilous
By cheering ourselves up
With merry mind and
And villainless giggles or smiles.
I am tellin' you
Some smiles are venomous than the deadliest poison known to mankind.
Yeah, some laughter kill faster than boko harams' bomb blasts
Fear God by being righteous in and out.
Peaceful peace to the proud and the proletoriats...
O ga o,
Is going to school the end of everything
Although, you and I should
But, it aint not good for thee to derail into vanity
Think beyond the width of your knowledge
And see farther than what you can see...
I am me
A law aspirant with 255 Aggregate
I am a naught
But abiding in something-Him.
And sincerely yours...

TWELVE A.M OF AFRICA
Oh, you again twelve!
You that tolerate kinds of maelstrom occurrences
You that permit the witches and wizards to mar their naive oppugnants
What! You want to vie with, that I am slying?
Okey-dokey, jab the head up
Aye, when it's twelve again in Africa
See them, not only in Nigeria
Flapping, flying in and out parabolically and barbarically
In the blur mo,
Even when the morny dew is moving down
Aye, you will see them offing altogether, all together to meet for the next meat.
Bad birds, bouncing back into their devious baskets
In confirmation,
You would hear
The cock jumping up crowing evasively and bauly
Like the bomberdment by bombs as of now here by the Bokos'
The hulaballoo so breath-taken that it makes chicks pass out
Goats are shrieking while pipers and their allies are hissing for
A safer passage
For the ambassages of night are flying over
To assemble again
All, when at twelve am of Africa.
I am telling you naught only in our North or in Kenya
Yes, to me, twelve a.m is when I found it most comfortable
To lucubrate with or without light
twelve a.m here, listen carefully
I've pieces of advice for you this morny
I am talking to you
Yes, you not yew
Attentive, I plea,
You've got to amend now
For, who knows what will be what in the end?
For the moribound you've caused us beats the otherwise
Be wise
Support what's right with your wit without any price
And in the end, you shall earn an elegant judgement with your ears.
By from the owner of earth and heavens.
See, twelve a.m in Africa just now
It's one of the most fearful
Even in Libya 'n' Ethiopia!

raptureme: THIRTY MILLION NAIRA
Thirty million naira
Of a man’s sweat
Thirty million naira
Off a man’s brow
Gliding like a peacock along
Balance engraved on her legs
And nobility on her frame
While her rims sparkle with abandon
Shooting admiry eyes like a shotgun
As I stare awed like bunkum
As she flashes her lights at me
Its like a wink from Halle Berry;
And when she races
I remember the dotted spots of the cheetah.
She combines power and beauty
Like Queen Amina
While mixing allure and appeal better than the chief chef
At McDonalds.
Thirty million naira
Of a man’s intellect
Thirty million naira
Off a man’s ingenuity
Nearly having the brain of a man
Predicting a rough terrain
From a thousand miles
Navigating her husband effortlessly
From the hazards and obscurity of nowhere
To the lights and civilization of somewhere
Though with a flesh of fibre
She has a mind of reinforced steel
And the guts of a jail bird.
Thirty million naira
Of a man’s calories
Thirty million naira
Off a man’s biceps
When she coos at night
Offering the best of surround sound
Its Nightingalish;
But she turns official and formal in the morning
In a smooth mood swing
To keep her husband up to speed
And abreast of events.
Thirty million naira
Of my bargaining ability
Thirty million naira
Off my saliva for over two hours
And I get a young, nubile and smart princess
She is bitchy, powerful and rugged
Towering seven feet of raw muscle and hassle
But her most endearing trait
Is the three-pointed German tattoo in a circle
Near her waistline.
Ogbonna Nnaemeka Henry.

VERY BEAUTEOUS. I LOVE YOUR PIECE, IN FACT, KUDOS.

Rain; me and my mama.

When the rain is coming
My mama will always call me
Even, while snoring on my mat lost in vast dreams
She would knock and kick me up
Go and assemble those bouquets n pails
For goodness...
For they are the host.
Thank you Heaven for opening your mighty mouth this morny again
She would always say;
The happiness her heart releases
Bounty,
She loves rain really.
But, begone
The rainy days are gone
See her, woebegoned
Me...
Mama, why, he shall come again
Son, tell me, when?
Next season my mama
Rescind your rains
They're calling enchantingly mine
Mama, do it
Should I help with my handkerchief?
Aye son, but, what if I am gone afore then?
Mama,
Hakuna matata
Gulp up this maltina
Or would you prefer fanta?
You will be older
Than Mandela and Methusela...
Rain!
Listen to me and my mama
Come again next year
Come early enough and make my mama merry again
Mama,
Hakuna matata
The rain said he shall come again next year
Even twice in December
As usual to us here in Nigeria.

My silhouette/shadow.

Aye, I am looking forward
To D-day that I will argue with my dad
And even anyone else
That, at 1 a.m exactly
Or in the mid-day exactly,
I saw my silhouette doing something else
While contraposttoing
I mean, while just jumping up
But instead, my shadow is just skipping rope
Familiar, but different in every sense
Isn't this something else?
I am sure,
If that happens, the world would have high Blood Pressure
Cos, it would be just like a scary corpse kissing the chicks of a year old kid that's just.
See, the day I saw my silhouette doing something else
The day I would walk on the world telling everyone that has ears
That, the world has been taken away by surprice
Imagine, while some are busy buying baked breads...

Bros, truly the UTME result was low. Only 1000+ candidates had 270 and above. BUT, I can tell u emphatically dat PUTME was simple for Art-based subjects applicants. How wil I av had 288 if the PUTME was difficult nd d performance was low wen am nt a genius?
Anyway, if LAW is 245 and am having 273.5, then I shud start packing my loads for schl BUT to convince me, post the merit and catchment cut-off marks lyk I did for College of Health Sciences. Thanks
Yes o, same here jo. If it's truely 245, then, we should be packing our luggage and get set by awaitin' the gun shot and then run down to OAU fast fast. But, please, try and paste the catchment cut-offs for Art department, h2hadmond, success is urs jammily in ur exams. Amin.

My aggregate is 255 and I put in for law, my heart is beating faster/rapidly these days cos of the impending lists. This anxiety/worrisomness threw me into the well of reality and coming out of the blured well luckily, I again fell into a cooked/dampy ground of meditation and fellow oauites(2012/13 sect), please try and read my poetic meditation about life nan ni. OAU aint having any choice jare, we're gonna make it to the campus safe n sound and by fire by force all in Jesus' name nan ni. Thanks, sincerely yours†Now the tides and the devious waves of life are here again
The tear gland is again longing to fall
But nay
I say,
I don't care if it were for jubilation
These wars is too much for my tender shoulder
To bourne when they are laced with loads already.

The war is ending cos another one is starting
The sweat is rescinding the costly powder, ointment
And rendering the valourity of the cream with their photons.

I can't mutter that I am tired
Neither can I mower the source of these tumultous faces,
I can't even point out the source
So, how would I point out the meaning of its end?

See, I am lost in lost
Found by found
What is what...?
What is amiss?
I mean what is amiss?
Confused?
Aye, if you like, stringently confused!

My heart is trudging on pins just now
Why all this?
I am sick of all this
The meaning of this vast territorial geographical abode
This world
Is completely meaningless to me.

Tell me, why should you want another head down?
Why doing people down?
Folks for that matter
You are a don already at the centre
Why?
Tell me, please,
How many wherewithal, mansions, diamonds even a dime would you take along to your tomb(s)?

It seems am going loco
The picturesque sounds psycho
But I am not a psuedo
I can entertake its otherwise.

This world's cognome is wilderness
Wild one
Wilder than a spiny and hot wilderness
A desert of fire
A territory of vast emptiness.
Why then do we take an immense delight desserting in it as if it won't collapse one day?

What's happening in my milieu are scaring the piss out of my cock
I can't fathom this phantom
Nor anyone
Although, we're trying
But take this
Eat it and never defecate it,
Piss it,
Sweat it,
Vomit it,
Sneeze it,
Catarhh it out,
Cry it nor weap it,
In this worthless world;
A war only ends when another war begins.

And, what Heaven says will happen
Even if the world flew away,
It will fly back
And then happen.

What is the in thing there in wealth or worldly acquisiton
When we will at the tail go back as we all came?

kasiem: Probation
so was it a new dawn came,
the thought of the past showered in,
oh, a new responsibility lurks behind behind,
tears dripping like dews,
hey, what's it?
So did the rhetoric of the absence of my heart,
so, my heart is gone?
Nope, she's gone for adventure
oh, how long can i cope without her?
A question waiting for fate to answer.
uhm! I think the subject matters of this piece are life, destiny and responsibility. I hope am right. The subject matter(s) should be known afore parody/criticism is done on that poem of yours.

kasiem: i have five poems but i can't post them here cos i feel intimidated by the ones already here
Ah, why are the ones already here intimidating you?
We post poems to explain to ourselves the hidden meanings of lines or the whole poem and to encourage us to write the more; and that's the aims and objectives nothing more.

Jerobans: My brother,God will see us through! I got 226 in UTME and 284 in Post UTME which also brought my aggregate to 255. I'm from Kaduna State (ELDS). I believe the cut-offs will be drastically reduced this year considering the low performance. Is there a lot of people with above 260 in your catchment or elds that you know or heard of? There are only two so far I know and it seems many don't like posting their scores or aren't nairalanders. Please, let's try and keep ourselves posted or abreast with latest information. I hope to see you in Ife, Faculty of Law. All the best, bro!
Amen, see you there. For us to be able to share titbits betwixt each other frequently 'n' easily the more, try 'n' parley with me on facebook. Just search for 'JODEKSS/GLOATKENF' I am the only guy with that sobriequet. See u there o... Amin nan ni

╗°ON HER BIRTHDAY°╗
See,
I plea
Embrace this as a tokken from me to you naught to yew
I aint having any chicken nor even laps of a turkey that's true
But my mild mind lingers
To write you this with my fingers
To congratulate you on your birthday, this summer
Aye, and to minionly wish you many millions more
To witness today's date again or
Even trillions, if God thinks that it's core
Today,
Clouds are giggling like a glad cow eating hay
Plus, the sun is busy jumping up shining its ray
Just cos today's your birthday
This is just a tokken from a parley
Lim, take it merrily, is today not your day?

obabila: Pls nairalanders i seriously need urgent reply,my brother wrote ife post utme,he applied for pure mathemamatics and he scored 219 in post utme, his jamb score is 248 but he choosed oau as second choice,d reason is that somebody assured him admission in unaab but d person later said he can no longer help him cos he went abroad for his masters,is there any chances for him in oau?
Although am also an aspirant, to me o, I think there is yet hope, if you all could be fervently prayerful and then apply few legs. If you aint legged then start praying o. Without which, the chances are extremely thin o.

Lucky soul: The moon
the star
the moon
who seeth what we do
who giveth light to the nook
fixed so beautiful
to look
the cloud are your groom
i wish i could pluck you
to my upper room
your name is what i put in my slum
you are a deceiver, to make believe you move
u are not your light
you tap to deceive
by the gloom
handsome... And thanks!

Jerobans: . Nice one! What course did you apply for? What's your scores and stage of origin? I wish us all the best o!
OSUN STATE is my origin and my scores in Jamb and the sequel are 250 and 260 respectively. My aggregate is undoubtedly 255. Fear gripped me like cold when I first glance this but believe me, with God, even the most impossible situation is surely possible & vis a vis. Lots of luck in Jesus' name! What's ur details! Share it please!

Please! Please!! Please!!! Try and cool your asses down and read this latest poem of mine. Although, we're all eager to know what the cut-offs would be, inspite, let's be hopeful and fervently prayerful. Just enjoy reading the poem my fellow oauites.
An african thunder!♥
Now, see the clouds are coming from the west
Matching in procession to present their best
In foamy-like they kiss one another
With empty enmity betwixt one another
The claps produced by the shriek of their kissings
Wakes a comerade's dead concubines
The kissing so silent that they always produce a loud baul
That can make a mere man go dull
Yes, that makes merry kids mould together like sheaves to ball.
The clouds are now pregnant
Ladden with water, they're laying off the pant
The rumblings and tremblings of all this make young dead heroes mourn
Right from there sepulchre when these are on
The cracking, rambling, racking are breaking the silence into shreds
Thunder, see those dangling breasts packing their dried bananas
Mature man manning their horses to hide incase it
May be for their ill sakes that it's thundering, who knows what's what?
Belles, pilling theirtits well to submit their calabash
Afore the incoming of rain, cos it may be brash.
Aye, ageds are even shaken,
Asking
Little lads, isn't that thunder thundering?
Aye, baba, it's thunder tearing through the sky tattering our treesand vapourising
Those of malevolency in our kingdom
But massaging themost simple-hearted with his balm
Oh! Thunder,
You again with your shudders, well no wonder.
