Hi every one. Good to be here again after a long while |
My POE experience was a breeze. My POE was Houston LRenewed my Visa B1/B2 via drop box in November but travelled for vacation in December for the intended purpose though I was not pregnant as of the time I renewed the visa. I didn't bother to write a change or notification of intend since my visa B1/B2 also covers medical and I have used the visa for vacation in the US. The first officer just asked purpose of travelling and Doctors correspondence. Stamped in my husband and daughter for six months and sent me for secondary inspection for verification of my documents. After hours of waiting, pple were much at the secondary inspection I was called in. The question were also purpose of travelling, doctors correspondence, money I had on me, name of my daughter and we're hubby works. We were about 5 preggie mum's. We were all allowed passage without stress. But all I see is that we were all truthful, sincere and evidence that we have either paid or can pay our bills Goodluck to all the intending mum's and mum's to be |
My advice to all intending mum's. Please try to be very truthful. Your phone conversation maybe checked for issues that relate your travel and any incriminating information. Please be as transparent as possible. There is no point lying. Please go with enough cash to convince the VO you can pay your bills. A lady was sent back because of phone conversation. MEDICAL Visa and letter of change of intent are no more automatic entry but your sincerity, consistency and proof to pay you bills are the basics of what the VO are interested in |
The POE my friend used was Chicago and it was her first time to travel to the US. Her visa was not used for the intend it was gotten that was why she had to write a change of intend |
After waiting for 1 hour 30 minster Vo lady came in Vo: docs appointment Wify: gave her VO: Is this all the money you are to pay (about 9Kplus) Wiffy: pediatrician and all not included Vo : ok Came back after 30mins Vo: why did you decide to come give birth in the US Wiffy:good health care and issues from her previous birth experience Vo:but your daughter looks beautiful. What's your experience Wify: bla bla bla Vo: but that company hospital is good from our records Wify: shocked. How you take know Vo: from colleagues that has travelled The review is good Wify: well sha that's my story Vo: when is your due date and who are you staying with Wiffy: gave her the info Went in to call the doc and the host and came back Vo: the doc has confirmed your appointment but your host is not picking Vo: listen to Your interview conversation (so them dey record the interview) when you decided you want to come give birth what did you do DH: made enquires from friends. Was told giving birth in the US is not a crime. Wrote a letter of intend to the embassy Vo: letter of change of intend is much these days with some peeps editing their friends own and bring it to us. Can you log on to your mail so as to see the corresponding DH:logged on and showed evidence At a time Vo collected both Vo and Wiffy phones to check all their whatsapp messages Vo: collected the money and counted it Vo: seems you are a Christian. Have a lot of Christian group in your whatsapp. Wify skilled. Which all nigerians are trutful. You guys didn't contradict yourselves. Stamp them in till December |
VO: purpose of travelling My friend: vacation and child birth Vo: thought you won't say with your long tummy because nigerians can lie DH:not at all VO: when you got the Visa did you tell them it's for child birth Wify: they didn't ask. They just said if I will see a Doc and I said maybe. VO: ok. We're does DH works. How much do u have. How do you intend to pay with cards as nigeria cards have limits DH: has 9K. Has 4 cards. Wify has 7 cards Vo: we transfer you to secondary inspection Dh: okì Vo: you don't look scared. A nigerian lady begged me not to send her there. DH: nothing to fear since I'm not lying |
Ok my Friend who has a B1/B2 Visa travelled last night through Chicago POE . She get mind sha. She was not asked if she was pregnant during her interview but when asked if she will see a Doc she said maybe. So with advice from this thread and good friends she did a letter of intend. And her POE experience went like this |
For those in need of accommodation in Houston. I could be of help. I know someone that rents Ensuite rooms in her apt for 1100. Location is in an Estate in Richmond |

@ blaze 777 congratulations. So so happy for you |
I think standard chartered is the best. The last time I checked this week they charged 276 to a dollar |
Hello house. I got a B1/B2 visa via drop box . I have also used the visa for vacation in the US. Now I am pregnant and intend birthing in the US. I contacted the Doctor and paid some deposits. Do I need to write a letter to the embassy since I intend telling them at the POE the real purpose of my trip while I travel with evidence of being able to pay for my bills and already have a Doc appointment |
