Am very impressed by Atikuobi's performance tonight. |
All this epistle was to state the fact of the endorsement. Congrats to the monarchs and their chosen candidate. |
The Atikulated one is set to hit the ground running. No dull moment at all on this great task ahead to get Nigeria working again. * Rule of law must be upheld * Strong institutions and systematic method in fighting corruption * Conducive environment for growth and development * Fostering of national unity to achieve greatness, and sense of oneness. Infact, there is so much to be done to get Nigeria working again. My believe is that even if all can't be achieved, let the foundation be laid so we start building on it, hoping desperate and selfish Nigerians will not deceive people again to bring the foundation down as done with the "Change" |
Why the money no go plenty? When Bet9ja collect the contribution finish from guys wey stake over 2.5, and game end under 2.5. Data released sometime ago shows Nigerians spends on the average, over a billion naira daily on sport betting using a bench mark of NGN100 per stake. So all in all, Multichoice and partners are not spending one naira in hosting this program. Anyway, that's the business secrets |
Propaganda and cry of a drowning man looking for reeds to hold onto. Crying foul when no one is chasing you. The issue on the burner now is the CJN issue, where the urgency with which the executive carried out this action, unlike their usual disregard for court rulings gives room to suspect of a hidden agenda. The high point was that Due Process was not followed, and secondly, the timing was wrong. |
yemi15:Indeed they are and the elites capitalises on that to their disadvantage, and then to rest of us. The 25%, in 1/3 of states is not much of difficult task for me However, let's keep hope alive that as we move on, our democracy will be getting more transparent and stronger |
yemi15:Hope we've learnt. Careless and flagrant disregard for rule of law by this administration. My other major concerns for Nigeria electoral advancement is the large number of "uneducated" voters. The follow-follows, those easily induced with plate of pottage, and of course, the selfish ones who sacrifices integrity for self gains. |
Racoon:The bolded has been my recurrent questions since this drama started. How many duly given court orders are pending to be complied with or absolutely ignored by this administration since inception. PMB is not fit to govern in a democratic system. Infact we have to be careful, electing ex-military as a civilian executive. |
AreaNews:Please anyone who knows this man should advice him to stop insulting the South Eastern people. |
Nigeria is ethnically, religiously and selfishly divided. I wished and hoped we have one United Nigeria but am beginning to doubt, it may not work. Oh Lord God, what is your will concerning this nation? Let it happen now without delay. |
Please do not leave your marriage because of the above reasons. I will blame both of you for this issue. If I may ask, is your husband's manhood bigger than 1/2 the size of a new born baby? Lack of genuine sex education contributes to your issue, and seeing a sex therapist, if you can't research well and give yourselves what and how you need to handle the issue, will help. I repeat, your issues are very solvable, and must not result to you leaving your marriage. Good luck to you all |
What happened to the reason given by Prof. Itse Sagay, where he said the other presidential candidates are political dwarfs, and can't be a match to PMB. See link below; https://www.nairaland.com/4969571/sagay-political-dwarfs-buhari-wont/3#74906376 |
For those who said Atiku chickened out of the debate, and is an insult to the voters. Yes is an insult but I think a greater insult was the reason given for Buhari's absence. See the link on the insultive and flimsy excuse for his absence below; https://www.nairaland.com/4969571/sagay-political-dwarfs-buhari-wont/3#74906376 |
This is a very big insult from Prof Itse to the sensibility of the good people of this nation. I know they want to avert the humiliation his attendance will bring to the party but giving those flimsy and insultive reasons is very bad of him. Well, the choice is left for Nigerians. Whatever they choose, we all will share it. SHAME!! |
Whazar:It's true dear. It really baffles me, and I begin to think whether they've lost all their "sane'" senses. |
APC should thread softly not to heat up the polity unnecessarily. Nigerians are wiser and indeed the world is watching. Let not the desperation of some persons plunge this country into crisis. Most of these their recent moves will even make them loose honest followers |
Ovokoo:Showing them video to believe AA's visit to USA is the same thing as asking them to comment on Ganduje's video. "I don't know the type of technology they used in producing the video" |
Assurancee:This cry sounds like that from the opposition party. Please can someone tell me which party release this very important alert, Nigerians need to come their aid |
Watching your post like many others on this issue. God alone is omniscience, and never fails to reveal hidden secrets to His loyal servants anyway. Let His will be done as per Nigeria case. |
I agree with Prof Itse Sagay's explanation. On this then, let the CJN do the needful. I will equally move that the CCB should publish in a public library for citizens to access freely, all assets declared by public officials so that we can know its correctness or otherwise. I am sure, more than 98% of these asset declarations are false. Hence, the CJN case is pure political attack. No public officials in Nigeria have integrity on a macro view. |
The question would have been, when Mr Frank Mba was removed as police PRO force hqtrs then, what was his undoing? I knew he handed over to Emmanuel Ojukwu, I believe. Maybe normal posting or whatever. He was there before, and I believed he delivered. Congrats to a worthy son |
Ugezu J Ugezu, the great screenwriter. Always filled with suspense whenever you are watching his movies. His, is indeed one of a kind. Gennie, ezigbo nwada e ji eje mba, aka ekpuchi onwa. Keep breaking the barrier. Am yet to watch the movie though seen the highlight. A movie featuring the erudite professor; Kanayo O. Kanayo, the great legend of things fall apart and evergreen Pete Edochie, the master stroker; Osuofia Nwaezigbo, Nkem Owoh, the great songstress; Onyeka Onwenu, Alobam and guys pasa n'ogbe Phyno and many others. Lionheart; Obiagu, take 5* |
Daily Independent, if you are sure of your claim, why not name the persons. Let's know those behind the scene, so we can ask them. Maybe their reasons are genuine or not. |
RTSC:Where do you think we shall end carrying on in this way, both as a nation and individual? |
WhoRUDeceiving:LOL! Firstly, I was pained by the statement credited to the minister as a precondition for an Igbo man to be president of Nigeria. Secondly, what benefit will an Igbo president have on the Igbo nation, I doubt if any. I wish for us as Nigerian to have a nation, which I stand to be corrected if we do have that now? I am fully aware that Nigeria is enmeshed in ethnic and religious divide but equally believe it can be solved if we want. However, am equally of the opinion that if we don't want to move forward as one (which remains a great benefit to all and to African continent), and the centre can no longer hold, then the only option is "To your Tents oh Israeli" |
I think is time any Igbo politician found spewing this rubbish they copied from our other southern brothers should be pelted. What an insult. Ohaneze should equally make a strong statement warning these politicians. A working Nigeria should not be keen on which ethnic group produces its president. What should be our concern is having a competent person and a servant leader. |
EVILFOREST:Exactly. You know the story dear |
Such figures one sees in the dark on the village paths, and begin to tremble. If you know you know Nature's image - Perfect and decent gown |
TMKsouth:It is anyway, but we're living in a global community where everyone's dealings are in the open. Hence, you can advice someone to watch his/her step as they enter a location.. It's quite unfortunate that we are being tagged like that. |
Well, that's good for us as a nation. We're always being used to show negative examples, it's not their fault. We merited every negative examples. Not being pessimistiic, I doubt if we can ever change on a global view from this negative classifications. No doubt, there are Nigerians whose integrity can't be questioned nor compromised no matter the trap set for them. It might take us a complete generational change to achieve a national rebirt of citizens that will be an envy of nations, in character and uprightness, as well as yardstick for measuring international development and progress. I wish and propose that we start by setting out a day in our national calendar as "INTEGRITY DAY", where all citizens will live and encourage others both in private and public life to do it RIGHT according to law and moral. Who knows, it might be the change we are looking for. May the Lord come to our aid |
Under utilisation of the nation's resources leading to under development and bottoms Up to poverty ridden citizens. If they like, let all the potential sea ports in the country remain dormant while Kaduna port (Dry port) is being expanded. Nothing is permanent in life. |
