You're correct sir.

Thanks dear. They are always putting up red flags to divert people's attention from real issues on ground.
As far as am concerned, we are yet to have a leader in Nigeria who is ready to fight corruption head-on.

Let this Subpoena not end with Jonathan. It's time to have a glossary of all foreign accounts owned by Nigerians, past and present government officials at any capacity, in any guise of linkages through associates, family members etc.

Fully in support of the HOR advising government to ignore WHO. The government should immediately notify WHO that Nigeria will no longer participate in the solidarity programme.

These people being distributed to the Southern states are on a different mission. They are not running away from COVID-19 infested states nor with the aim to spread the virus in the Southern states.
They are foot soldiers coming to take position and wait for the right time. If you like, believe something else. Someone posted here that these people are from Nigerien Republic, and they just accompanied the trucks to offload the goods. Instead of keeping quiet, he is trying to say that Nigerian Customs opens borders for foreigners to move unchecked.

Well, no course for alarm. Let them keep coming but those behind this plot will be disappointed

Their details were communicated only to the security. How will the members of the public know these runaway brides, sorry patients as their details were not displayed in the memo. Were there other public notification with there details or am I the one reading the post wrongly?

My dear, we have lots of battle in our hands which might take a chunk of time before we bring them to bare.
Our security systems are trying in their little way, but we need to invest more in security of prevention which is everyone's business. These includes surveillance and reporting. Winning the battle against societal ills including cultism may depend on how much we have advanced in our entire security architecture

Those living in other states and those watching from afar may conclude that Wike is a wicked man.. but hell no he isn’t.. The indigenous People of rivers and those living in Rivers has a different orientation than other States. We the rivers people are extremely stubborn and heartless therefore what befits us is also a stronger handling and ruthlessness. You won’t understand until you live here in Port Harcourt better still Rivers state. We love Wike he is our blood he knows what he is doing and we are not complaining because we need it to be. Please my fellow citizens stop complaining on our behalf we are Kool with it. In Rivers State 98percent are cultists.. I mean both people mothers and fathers not to talk about the children.. only two percent are cult free. We need Wike morethan more.

Well said. Each time I reflect on the story of those three students killed and buried, I can't rationalize how we got where we are now

I believe Nigeria needs a leader having Wike and GEJ's character in one body.
Many people in Nigeria needs brain reset and they can only get it from such character.

Religion / Re: Archbishop Ede: I Did Not Announce Lift On Ban Of Religious Activities In Enugu by Glorymax: 7:58am On May 10, 2020
I don't really know how people reason sometimes. The Federal government's statement on relaxing lockdown insisted that anything that will bring large crowds together for now will not be permitted, which includes religious gathering.
Also with the cases increasing in Enugu, what's the rationale for allowing such gathering for now? The report is true and I learnt that some churches are holding even as I type now. If the state enforcement team is at hand, they should swing into action immediately and correct this anomaly.
I understand that's where some persons business are and they will be eager to start up. Precautionary measures seems very difficult to practice in this part of the world, only when it's too late they tend to heed the warning

The pain of this is that the actions and inactions of others will affect everyone because we share the same social space

At this instance, no doubt more positive cases may appear. As stated that this young man had been in denial, which implies that he must have infected lots of people, and those infected continues the shearing.

I think it's time the state should enforce total lockdown, disclose areas where this young man in denial must have been exposed to, and request anyone who might have been exposed to that vicinity to self isolate.
We must act fast and decisive before it get loose

Ohaneze never made any statement concerning Igbo for president 2023. Let no one be deceived about the group parading itself as Ohaneze youth.
Before you go about circulating fake news, go to Ohaneze secretariat and confirm your news. Ohaneze ndi Igbo made statement concerning this issue just few days back
Family / Re: I'm scared of Marriage. Married People, What Do You Think? Share Your experience by Glorymax: 6:23pm On May 06, 2020
Marriage is good because it's instituted by God according to the story of creation.
Marriage is for mature mind, hence you must be convinced of what you're going into.
Marriage is a lifetime contract but the only exception that will make me go against this contract is whenever violence is involved.
Marriage must be between two friends, very important, so that once you say YES, you must make it work
Marriage as they say, is not a bed of roses at all. There's no perfect marriage, and there is no one formula for all, so as much as you can, don't watch your dirty linens outside, even before your parents. Always resolve any differences and move ahead.

I repeat, it's only violence that will make me not to support the marriage to remain. You might ask, what if there's unfaithfulness of one partner? If you married your friend, though people changes, both would have touched gray areas which might lead to future unfaithfulness of one's partner.

One word of encouragement to tell self is, If my parents and others can marry and bear the challenges, why can't I?

It will definitely get to all of us one by one. We have refused as citizens to tell the authorities that we own them, they will continue the brutality on us.

When has accident on our roads became immediate death sentence on drivers and inhuman brutality on the passengers without judicial proceedings?

Nigeria citizens are getting what they deserve from the authorities, it can't stop until the citizens themselves stops them

It's a pity

Seriously.
May be they prefer social media propaganda.
A state that was declared free of corona virus all of a sudden is recording 6 new cases.
It is due to careless and not being strict with the lockdown rules. Close and tighten your borders. Gburugburu should remove the Nigerian police force from the border and put the Nigerian Army instead. They re collecting bribe there by sharing the virus all over the country. This is so bad

Na we see am o. Those we asked to protect us are the ones exposing us. Very unfortunate

That Ugwuanyi just doesn't inspire confidence! I see Umahi and Obiano as being more capable of handling this situation in their states! I place Uguwanyi, Ikpeazu and that supreme court thief in Imo all in the same bracket! The little gains made in their states is more to do with individual and group efforts than any gov't scheme or directives!

Dear, it's really individual effort, and I advice we do more to keep ourselves and families safe.

Bros, I know you have access to the Lion House. I don't know any new measures the state is taking to control the borders. Rivers state has decided to discontinue the use of Nigeria Police because they allow free movement of persons.
I think movement of goods should even terminate at the state borders and exchange of the goods strictly monitored to prevent contact
They should do something fast and stop this number from increasing

You are totally right, I can also understand that it easy to tell or try to force people to stay at home in nigeria by the corrupt Nigerian FG. but they cannot force or tell the innocent nigerians to stay home without food or money. I also hear nigerian Governors urging nigerians to work from home! grin how many nigerian can work from home? %95 of nigerians earn their livings outdoors from their various shops and businesses.

I believe nigerians will listen and home if they are provided with food, money and electricities. i mean, no nigerian wants to die or corona virus, most of them are just helpless and hungry. they just needs alot of help from the nigerian FG.

My dear, the totality of what we're seeing today as it affects the generality of Nigerians are the result of Long Term Maladministration. Though the citizens share the blame due to their perpetual docility against bad governance, our leaders are most insincere

That's the reality of Nigeria today, we cannot pretend otherwise, it is against the law of nature and equity for yorubas to take power in 2023, I like yorubas as a people but they'll have to wait and support the East in the spirit of equity and justice.

I fully understand the reality of Nigeria as at today. If I may ask, how long shall we continue in this cycle that doesn't give meaningful development? Note that we can not expect to get a different result where as we stick to the same old ways of solving the problem.
In my sincere heart, I love Nigeria to be united and live in love of one another. We have more than enough human and natural resources to make Nigeria one of the richest country in the world. What do we have today? Poverty capital. Who made it so? Deceptive leadership of subjugation and conquering. You can see how they have started juggling and positioning themselves to grab power come next election. Unless we dismantle the entire system, no hope for the nation

The president must come from my region, the president must come from my tribe! Does this not tells us that Nigeria can never get better with this style?

As harsh as your last paragraph sounds,it is sadly the truth. that is the only way people will take this thing serious, because at this moment everyone in nigeria has the mentality of, "it's not going to happen to me and my families in Jesus name" and then the add Amen to it. grin and they feel better.

I understood my harsh stand but it was out of our non serious stance towards this COVID-19 as seen displayed that prompted that comment.
I know people must move around to earn a living but according to one African president, (I think Ugandan) he said we must see this pandemic as a war time where people struggle to stay alive by hiding indoors or any safe haven, rather than moving around and be exposed to bullet.
As far as am concerned, we are yet to take the right and decisive action to stop the spread
Health / Re: Enugu State Confirms Fourth Case Of COVID-19 by Glorymax: 8:39am On May 02, 2020
The interstate lockdown on movement of persons is not working. People travel across Anambra state on a regular basis to Enugu and back, buying their way through the security blockades.
We may probably need a more devastating effect of this COVID-19 before we learn lesson.
