OMG!!! Bus Falls into Gujarat River, 37 Dead.


On Friday, between 5.30 pm and 6.00 pm a bus fell into the Purana River, 40km from Surat, Gujarat, killing 37 and injuring another 27.

The Gujarat State road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) bus was on its way from Navsari to Songadh via Bardoli and also had many students on board. The survivors have been rushed to various hospitals in Navsari.

Navsari district collector Remya Mohan who was at the spot said, "According to locals incident took place as bus driver driving at full speed tried saving a rider. Maybe he took a wrong turn and the bus plunged into Purna river."

Due to the low water level, the bus had little to break its fall. The canopy of the bus had to be cut off to get to those inside. Mohan said that the death toll could mount as some were critically injured.

The trio have been exceptional in their link-up play in the final 3rd. Manchester United has been on an upward trajectory in their last 2 games and we only hope they will maintain this level of intensity and precision.

Smartphones Sales Break World Record


In 2015 there were over 143.2m smartphones sold, the highest ever on record. Even though Apple had very low growth in 2015, its overall market share grew 16.2%. IDC's Phone Tracker research manager, Anthony Scarsella said, “A new record-setting quarter for Apple indicates consumers continued demand for Apple's latest offerings regarding upgraded hardware and software.”

Recon Analytics principal analyst, Roger Entner doesn’t think that Apple as a whole is declining. He explains that the issue with device sales is the macro trend of device financing, which has lowered sales, “Consumers have slowed down how often they replace their devices and the device manufacturers are suffering for it.”


Samsung is still market king in the smartphone realm, gaining a 14% year-over-year increase but struggled competing with mid and low end Chinese devices and Apple’s premium range. Huawei grew 37% but Lenovo is still finding its place after the Moto acquisition.

Van Gaal says he has not tendered his resignation after the 1-0 loss to Southampton. There had been reports that he had submitted his resignation immediately after the defeat.
