Amazon Wants To Dabble With Android A recent report states that Amazon wants its partners’ phones to resemble Amazon’s line of Kindle Fire tablets which it builds, such that Amazon services are deeply integrated in the handsets and encourage people to become a member of Amazon Prime. After Amazon’s Fire Phone tumbled and crashed, a bunch of people had gotten fired from Amazon’s hardware development centre, and took heavy losses. Their new plan sound a lot like the old, but someone else will be handling hardware this time. Amazon hopes for "deeper integration" that would allow it to "gain a bigger backdoor to Google’s Android." The report doesn't explain what the "deeper integration" is. But they face a problem as Google has legally blocked companies under contract for Google Play from building Android devices that don't ship with Google Play. Let’s see Amazon get themselves out of this one.

Capital One Cup Review: Liverpool Advances to Final. Liverpool defeated Stoke City 6-5in a dramatic penalty shoot-out to move into next month's League Cup final at Wembley. Mark Hughes' side won 1 - 0 at Anfield on Tuesday, levelling the clash at 1 - 1 on aggregate to send the game to penalties. Marko Arnautovic had finished off a brilliant passing move to hand the visitors lead on the stroke of half-time, although he should have been flagged for offside. That proved to be the only goal of the regular 90 minutes. Emre Can had failed for the hosts, but Joe Allen stepped up after Muniesa's miss to send Liverpool through. They will face Everton or Manchester City on February 28. Photo Credit: Twitter/LFC http://www.glossyclick.com/2016/01/capital-one-cup-review-liverpool.html?m=1 Cc: Honeric01

FT Review: Arsenal 0 - 1 Chelsea What a game by Chelsea! After taking the lead in the 1st half, they came into the 2nd half with one objective; protect the goal at all cost. Arsenal provided close to nothing going forward and have themselves to blame for this slip. Chelsea were dominant and created lots of chances but the spark in the final 3rd eluded them. This results leave Leicester clear leaders at the summit with Arsenal dropping to 3rd. Will it be the same old story for Arsenal this season too? http://www.glossyclick.com/2016/01/ft-review-arsenal-0-1-chelsea.html?m=1

'Frankenstein' Head Transplants? Sergio Canavero, a controversial Italian nuerosurgeon has claimed human head transplants are almost a reality, after Chinese scientists connected a monkey's head to another's body successfully last week. The claim on what is generally termed as 'Frankenstein science' has shocked the medical community across the world. Canavero claimed, "‘The news is not so much the monkey transplant. The important news here is that the critics of this new method have been totally disproven". He says the technique is ready for human trials and wants to remove the head with muscular atrophy of a patient and attach it to a freshly decapitated, fit body. Experts have condemned the proposal while Canavero claims the world would never be the same again. http://www.glossyclick.com/2016/01/frankenstein-head-transplants.html?m=1

Signing Cech Was a Major Doubt. Arsene Wenger has revealed that signing Petr Cech was one of the hardest decisions he has had to make as Arsenal manager. Cech joined the Gunners after 11 years at Chelsea but the Frenchman says he was unsure over the fitness of the experienced Czech stopper anf the mental effect it would have on David Ospina. "I didn't know what kind of shape he was in physically but When I met him I was quickly reassured of his motivation and desire to do well," Wenger said. After a rocky debut performance at home to West Ham, Cech has slotted seamlessly into the Arsenal first-team, forming a more resolute back-line, which has conceded just 21 goals so far. Wenger has acknowledged the importance of having a world-class goalkeeper and believes Cech inspires belief throughout his team.

Klopp: I'll Wait on Sturridge Jurgen Klopp has insisted Liverpool must be patient with Sturridge, just like he was with Gundogan when he was in charge of Dortmund. Klopp explained that he had to wait for 15 months with Gundogan and so will be patient with Sturridge to heal completely. "We all know it's pretty easy for him when he's fit so we have to be patient. Nothing else can be done." Klopp concluded. For more news. glossyclick.com
