With this same budget, you can host this reception in a pictureque location

Big Brother Show: Painful Statistics of what should be an illicit business

Pray for Nigerian youths

Total number of votes cast during Britain Got talent 2017 = 6.2million votes

Total number of votes cast during American got talent 2017 = 52.1million votes.
Note: American population is twice Nigeria's population.

Mind you, most of the votes cast on either Britain or American got talent are *absolutely free* because you can vote on their websites & on the Apps without paying a dime.

Total number of votes cast during “Big Brother Nigeria” 2018 = 170million votes @ N30 per sms for a show that contributes absolutely nothing to their lives.

It is neither a talent show or life enhancing or promoting show. A show where adults are kept in a cage to freely give & take sex on National Television, while the organisers make more money from the youths.

If INEC organises general election this weekend and ask Nigerian youths to vote on their mobile phones @ N10 per SMS to elect leaders that will shape their futures & the country, they will ask Nigerian Government to credit their accounts 1st before they will agree to vote in that magnitude.

“Wasted Generation” ~ Prof. Wole Soyinka called them.

“A generation that play too much, sleep too much and engage in idle chatter and gossip" ~ Chief Obafemi Awolowo foresaw

A generation of illiterate graduates ~ Atiku Abubakar called them in 2016

A generation that are constantly not concerned about the deteriorating conditions of their senses & not bothered about their own future~ Osquare78 knows them.

We all must be wary of this generation.... they are the larger chunk of Nigerian population.

It is pathetic. 170 Million votes Multiplied by N30 = N 5.1 billion and the winner got N25 million plus an SUV worth N12 million a trip and electronics.

To destroy the future, destroy the seed (children and youths)...

Pray for Nigeria youths to open their eyes and for God to touch the hearts of those who engage in such illicit business.

So unfortunate!

We Rise!

Amen ooo.
With some youths we see on social media, the future looks bleak, we only thank God for the few sensible and good ones among them.[/quote]Another ill researched silly opinion

Wooow! So, most of the English alphabets were taken from Jewish age-long alphabets? I could see most of the English alphabets in the write up. They stole part of Jewish alphabets and merged it with Greek's to form their alphabet. Brtons don dey steal people's ideas and heritage no be now.

Pabambari, they abandoned their numerals and adopted Arabic figures which are in use widely today because its better and less voluminous.

That reminds me, where are those foolish boko haram terrorists saying western education is a sin? Someone should remind them that the Arabic numerals of 1, 2, 3, 4,...in use today weren't part of western education but adopted by the western world. What a wrong teaching and belief they've got.
Is 1,2,3,4 part or Arabic Numeral?

There is nowhere in the world where it will. Be considered rape.
What happened was breach of contract, which is a minor offense when compared to rape

I also do not wish to believe that there will be no interview for this recruitment. However I've witnessed close family & friends get good government jobs like CBN, FIRS, NPC etc without any form of interview or test, just congratulatory text messages (not even e-mail) with dates and locations to collect APLs.
People getting apl without interview in A list agencies is not unheard of.
But it is uncommon in a recruitment of this magnitude that was advertised in the papers
Music/Radio › Re: Who Produced Better Music Between Lagbaja And Fela by Gmajor(m): 5:31pm On Dec 17, 2020
alabo1:
Kids, kids, please have some respect. How can you even compare the two? Fels was a revolutionary musician that invented the afro beat genre of music that inspired burna boy and yes even your lagbaja (who's music I hope you know is atrobeat?). Lahbaja is a great perfomer no doubt but comparing him to Fela is like comparing Chris brown to Michael Jackson. Nuff said
I still stand by what I said.
Fela pales in comparison to a lot of Nigerian music legends.
That someone inspired you does not mean you can't surpass him/her.
Graham Bell invited the telephone in the 1800, but his invention pales in comparison to what Steve Jobs was able to produce.

Whenever the Fela topic is brought up, people always tend to approach the topic with a rose tinted glass that really clouds their judgement.

Yes, Fela is a activist and his songs were well loved.
Yes, Fela to a large extent pioneer the Afro beat.

Fela is unabashedly African. He loved Africa, it's culture and language and looked down on people who wanted to be more westernized.
He was a staunch political activist and always spoke up when he felt that things were not going right and as such, he was a constant torn on the flesh of the military regime.

Fela's music is not about it's content but what it stood for.

Lagbaja produced music that is richer in tune, lyrics and melody than Fela

DC must be mad. The film was okay at the beginning but it became a sappy romance movie. The action was little.

The film was too woke and sappy at the end.

The plot was too wide.

Exactly, when pointing fingers to men when we need collective effort to protect the weaker gender instead of forming superwoman.

Most maid are abused by women.
Most children are abused by house mate

Most men suffer emotionally and domestic abuse from their wife but will absorb it not to be seen as weak but when it's a woman, she will shout to high heavens even at issue that she might be the culprit.

This shouldn't be a gender based issue but a collective effort address.
Did you watch the video or at the very least read the comment on the thread?
She mentions that men are also victims of gender based violence

It’s weakening for women when people like this come out to talk. I think it all boils down to perception of weakness. Personally I think women’s perceived weakness are their strength. It all depends on whether a particular woman knows how to use that strength. You don’t marry a lunatic and expect peace. If you did all in the name of money and beauty then you cannot find peace. Maybe instead of thinking violence is caused by anyone, it’s high time we told ourselves the truth that the violence is always caused by both parties. There’s no fire unless there had been a smoke. People should acquire knowledge and choose more spiritual gifts over money and wealth. That’s only when we can have peace in the society. Empowering should be about knowledge and not all these shenanigans. Why solve the problem when you can attack the cause of it?
This is a very silly comment

The headline is FALSE

Admittedly, we need to respect the females, but the females must respect themselves first. The quest for material things is making our ladies lose their manners and values.

Similarly, families must treat the girl child as the males because they deserve equal opportunities.
BTW, I come from a family where the females are the eldest and they all got university education.

Someone should advise this lady, please. This feminism thing is gradually making her lose her senses. The way Amanda is pushing this agenda will make her lose many male fans.

PS: I didn't waste my data to watch the video because I don't care.
