haba.

Net earnings is what I have been typing because net profit isn't a constant due to the fact, that different drivers drive different cars with varying fuel consumption rates. Some eat food of 3k daily. Others will recharge their phone with airtime and data of 10k in a week.

Net profit is not a given. What is a given, is net earnings. How you spend the earnings is none of my business
Yes my bad that's where I mixed it up...I get your point clearly I wonder if nitigriti mixed it up also if not then there really is no point to stress further as you proved your talk...

I thought you were of the opinion anyone could net #120,000 every week? The thing din dey clear, abi?
If you see my previous post on this matter i was never of another secondary opinion...iz just the words being mixed up. ..net and gross profits...point is from what he makes the amount can be paid for rentals for any serious driver.

Clearly the mix up is between net/gross profits and net/gross earnings or sales but we no dey economics class and I've gotten the point. Cheers

They are fond of that nonsense. They will even claim it was made fraudulently just so that they can feel good about themselves.

If I have ever used any fraud app, may I never see the end of this year. If on the other hand I have never used any fraudulent app in my life, may my blessings never cease.

Amen.
Blessings never cease bro...I've learnt in life to ask questions where I have lapses and deficiencies..if things are not working for me there r working for someone else so instead of hating just humble up and ask....let's all get this money mate..

Difference between gross and net. Let's stop twisting this thing.

Gross in green - 333,100
Net in orange - 288,895
Hello brother I guess that's where the mix up is. ...don't know about nitigriti but I meant net profit which should exclude your expenses ie fueling, feeding, other expenses I didn't mean net from the app which excludes only the commission/fee.

I meant net profit but you posted net earning (gross profit) which is okay bro. I think we should rest this case as you made ur point clear...you are doing fine..much respeck cool

That's not today's job, look well.
I know it's not today's job but it's a weekdays job and not weekend...it could have been today's job or any other weekdays job.,I tell you, on that particular day some driver somewhere was saying uber business is dull...on that particular day some uber driver didn't even make 15k..so my point is the fact that I can't do something doesn't make me knock another person's success rather ask questions and be optimistic about people's claims.

Not everybody has time to lie or make up figures...we should be challenged to do better and give people benefit of trust

What u posted are not net. Those are partial net of only commissions been deduted. How about other expenses, fueling, sevicing, car maintenance, changing of wear n tear parts... I'm sure no car is mechanic free. Be it toks or not
Its not even partial net but full gross but the point is he grosses 120k every week which I think is impressive non the less.

People like you guys are the problem of Nigeria! Watch that guys comment. Made 42k on Uber after Fuel!!! On a working Wednesday? Not even weekends that people relax? Are you guys crazy or something? Are you aware of the implication? It implies that he made at least 2k per hour for 24 hours driving!!!

Are you aware that Uber allows you to drive only 12 hours? Which implies he made 4k per hour? Driving the whole 12 hours? Are you guys mad? No Traffic? No Uber Fee? No Tolls? Lets assume its even possible to drive 24 hours without traffic!!! How much is a kilometer on Uber 70 naira? 80 naira? That means he did 600 kilometres today alone...
From here to Onitsha is how many kilometres? From here to Sokoto is how many kilometers?

Now I understand why some imbecciles are Still willing to vote Buhari... Nigerians have mortgaged there capacity to reason critically!!! Am also beginning to believe my friend that Nigeria as a country has the highest concentration of rettards. Cursed be the day God made me a Nigerian. I would have been better off a Somalian!!

Investors looking at this rubbish earnings should beware. Uber and Taxify is shaky now. No driver ever made 42k in a day... Maybe during Christmas which is still doubtable!!
This has been my problem with you good sir, you curse just to make your point...you always love to throw stones but leave in the glass house.. You expect people to believe your silly story of how you snapped your friend and brought the picture here though you explained but personally I don't believe you but we took it and closed the case..Did you allow the guy explain his earnings? did you ask him first? Relax my brother and don't keep disbelieving everything...Do you know if he did an offline trip that netted him 40k today alone and made additional money on the platform?..do you know if he did offline of the total sum? if he met some customer from outta the country dat paid in dollars? or tips and all?

While driving I did offline one time for like 3 hours or so for 14k and closed...I coulda driven my normal timeframe on the platform and hit a high amount...Sir please always make your point without insulting anyone..The truth is as im speaking to you now someone is make money that yourself would think is impossible...

Please note I didn't say its true but instead of calling people`s achievement a lie without proof you should rather ask first for details rather than just insulting like what nitigriti did with fahrenz by asking for proof

BTW I know someone that made a profitable trade yesterday of 1.8m grin..oya come and shoot me...RELAX the world is moving rather ask how its moving not disbelieving its moving.

What I've been saying to him since last night
Hello brother, I beg to differ..my take is this..any driver that is serious minded...honest with himself...and has bills to pay (I means does not have another source of livelihood) can make this work...I drove on this platform after I resigned my appointment with the Bank to set up my business..

Honestly I was comfortable driving because I realise I ALWAYS had money in my pocket..for me the only thing was that I was picking alotta my former customers ;Dey were acting like driving was a curse angry. me I no send dem ooo but driving was not my main source of income. brother if I had nothing else to do and driving was what was paying ALL my bills, I mean my 9-5 den what fahrenz is doing is highly possible..i tell you..ive been there...To be frank, I learnt a lot from dem Ogunvic and romeo3..i admired their work ethics minus the fraudulent activities, does guys motivated me and I knew it was possible.

Like every business, if you dont have good money management and know how to save money, trust me, no matter how much you make you will be broke perpertually..ITS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE...

It's now very clear to me that you didn't understand this post I made on this HP issue.

It's not for everyone but it's not impossible.
I have been proving how possible it is. I will never decide for anyone. After reading my thoughts on this, he can decide. I even pointed out factors that must be met.

You are only attacking because you believe no one can make 120 weekly consistently and I just told you it's a big lie. Where it's 0.1% or 1% the fact remains that it is possible.

That Is what I will keep Nacking on your head. You don't get to choose who qualifies to be among the 1%. Some newbies are already among the 1% before they even touch car key.

How many drivers on rental even meet up? The primary difference between rental drivers and HP drivers boils down to who is solely responsible for car maintenance. Apart from that, there is no difference.

That you have a wife that demands money and a son that goes to school or dstv that needs to be paid is no ones business. You chose that life.

There are people without such burdens.
Enough said brother....I think anybody viewing this thread gets the point...IT CAN BE DONE...as for the 1%, no one has the right to place anyone in that cadre but themselves...when I started driving about a year ago after I resigned my job, I had a few months to spare before completely setting up my business so I decided to drive. Believe me, I did very well, made atleast 10k everyday and I wasn't even driving full time..always closing before 4pm most times and starting like 8 or sometimes 10am..Bear in mind I had literally 0% driving on the platform yet with the info I got here and just using my brains, I was able to figure things out easily..Honestly most times it was just simply putting on my app and allowing the wind blow me to and fro..other times I had to position but honestly mostly I did nothing but to wait for request and if I stayed in a place like 20 mins no request I reposition.

Nothing is easy in life so any serious driver with guts and tenacity to work will make it...if my business were to pack up now God forbid, I will hit the street driving and be better off than some office workers. This uber thingy is not rocket science...its about a desire to feed and passion to drive.

99.9% of drivers are not smart. Facts only
How many drivers on this thread can show savings of #300,000 in their account?
I don't think this is right...even from this forum they r a number of drivers that have saved and bought their own cars...one even has bought two and given to another driver for rentals...I have also been a rider to some wonderful drivers and we got to talking...some are now driving their cars after doing HP or saving from rentals.

What Fahrenz posted should not be disputed because numbers don't lie...how don't you want Him to cumulate his figures? I have also driven on the platform and I never did it full time..Bro I made a lot money..at least i always had cash in my pocket....and I will recommend ehailing to anyone to drive if he has his own car and don't know what to do...

The truth is a lot ta drivers make more money that some that work in offices and that the truth..yes it's better if the car is yours but it can also work if you r on rentals or HP for any SERIOUS MINDED DRIVER.,.

I guess you owe him 15k bro grin

1) Leave the offline out of this, except you can show us a bank transfer with a name matching the name of the rider
2) Listen to your words again - net #120,000 every week, consistently. Those are your own words. So show us how you did it for 2 months, then we will try to reason with you that it can be done on hire purchase for 2 years
3) Cumulative is easy. It doesn't tell the real story - that in this hustle, its inconsistent. There are ups and then there are downs. Many hire purchase arrangements fail because of this your same assumption - I net #120,000 per week, I will remove #35,000; I have #85,000 to play around with. Its not that simple. Sir.
Fahrenz I like your spirit and hustle but I guess you should say gross 120k not net...but nitigriti from his explanations of setting expenses apart I beleive you know what he meant...all the same nice hustle.

My guy don't mind dry jare. Other things dey to spend on in a car. Oil is the least. E get one green 5 liters oil wey dem write 7000km guaranteed. E cheap gaan. You fit corner me make I give you the name.lol
My chairman I have nothing against using other brands of synthetic oil but this is a very dangerous statement in fact in my opinion the oil you use is the most important..you can get China parts which can be replaced every week but if you use groundnut oil your engine cannot be replaced every week ...you can drive your car with the legs making all manner of noise ie not working optimally but if engine is not working fine iz an issue.,

I know someone that bought a toks 2004 4 runner for 3.6m sometime 2 or 3yrs ago, dey wanted to service the gear so the mechanic poured abro atf into the car instead of T4, the gear packed up and they had to overhaul the gear system..bear in mind this same abro will work perfectly in other older less complicated gear systems.

Personally I don't joke with my engine and gear oil plus original oil filter and I advise everyone not to either...yes Mobil synthetic is not the only oil in the market but for me that's the only oil I use for my cars.

Please use recommended oil by the manufacturers, no be we make the car, the people wey make am sabi wetin dem get for mind

No I'm not a staff brother...those quoted laws are on their website and every driver attested to same before being allowed to drive....mostly we just click the I agree icon but we never read it...I'm guilty also as i have driven on the platform about a year ago and never read the terms and conditions but na when kasala bust we go revert to the law....the general rules and contracts favours mostly the riders and the company except were the riders damages the instrument of transport or acts in manners that are not deemed appropriate wink

like the court angle. Can we explore it a bit. Am just a layman o. Moreover this forum is a court whether it has competent jurisdiction or not, I know not.

So if we were to go to court, Taxify will be called to testify on the obligations of both parties in ending the contract. From my little knowledge, the rider is supposed to make sure the ride is over and the driver is supposed to show the rider the amount. So both were wrong.

She will have to prove that the driver didn't end it at the airport. Taxify will have to testify and the driver can equally prove a GPS malfunction. She can't prove her case beyond reasonable doubt if the plaintiff has a good lawyer.

Now if Taxify sues her, she has no case! The app clearly stated how such issues should be treated which is fare review, an option she didn't explore.

True that in 'civilized' world, that shouldn't have arisen, but in that same civilized world, they deal on facts and not on emotions and sentiments, so she is equally wrong.
Btw Taxify does not employ drivers, they are middle men between driver and rider. It's like a landlord holding an agent accountable for the tenants misdemeanor.

Anyway I de watch Suits, Boston Legal etc grin
Lol, My man nice argument...lets assume we are in court. In the general term and conditions of taxify and I quote 6.5. "Please note that Taxify is not obliged to pay you the Fare due from the Customer if the In-app Payment failed because Customer's credit card or mobile payment is cancelled or is unsuccessful for reasons not attributable to Taxify. In such case we will help you in requesting the Fare due from the Customer, and shall transmit it to you once the Customer has made the requested payment"...Taxify knows in app-payments can be cancelled for whatever reasons in this case fraudulent transaction..

6.7. You hereby warrant that you understand that In-app Payment does not supersede the requirements established by the laws and regulations, e.g. your obligation to provide the Customer with a receipt printed out on the printer...That's also from their general terms and conditions...So really its the driver that should provide a receipt of consummated transaction and not the other way round.

Im certain that if this matter goes to court, taxify will quickly settle out of court and will never sue the rider because of bad publicity,, Yes drivers are not employed by taxify neither are they agents but they are bound by contractual agreements which ensures both parties deliver on their obligations. ie taxify provides the necessary tools and technology for the driver to receive trips and execute same under the general terms and contracts which was signed by all drivers.

The lady has a right not to pay for that trip because it was fraudulent and the driver did not provide her an invoice at her destination. I think we agree it would be pretty easy to prove that the trip was not ended at her destination.

I really Don't see why you keep siding her,. You know her actions are dubious and fraudulent,,. First of all, as a lagosian she's supposed to be smart, but in this case she's been careless, and wants to cover her carelessness with a dubious n fraudulent act,.

She how fast she blacklisted it, I can't even do it that fast lol grin grin,. Its a prove she was prepared for it cool
I'm not siding her brov I'm just saying don't be too quick to judge...being trusting is not being dumb...the cabbie rendered a service and she expected him to end trip because she had a flight...in a civilized world that shouldn't be an issue or a yardstick for smartness but yes in Lagos everybody wants to cheat the next man.

Let's just forget it all men beside blacklisting your card can be done in 3 minutes as long as you have Internet banking for some banks or your have your account officers number if your are HNI in your bank,

franksam2009:
believe it or not what she did is a criminal offence for a woman of her status (as she claimed), she's actually dubious, after a ride she blacklisted her card and refused to fund it for 2 months lol,. D best thing she would have done is call the wicked driver and demand explanations, then next is report to d company immediately,. The company will definitely investigate n refund her money and possibly prosecute that driver..
Honestly, I might not approve how she handled it by not reporting but I cant tell if she's in the country and doesn't have the time or she is just upset because of the bitter transaction which honestly she has the right to be especially if its her first transaction with the company.

Furthermore, understand that her not paying is not criminal because there has been a breech of contract. there was a fraudulent transaction from the story which left a bad taste in her mouth and made her not fulfil her obligation. if this matter were to be in court, its easily defendable because the onions is on taxify to employ dependable and trustworthy drivers which in this case (assuming all things are equal as regards the story) they did not. If the clients decides not to fulfil their end of the contract because of a breech it is not criminal sir.

BTW I believe you don't understand what blacklisting of a card means. it means that particular card (debit/credit) which was previously linked to a current/savings account has been deactivated from OTC and all electronic transactions but the account is still funded. So she did not refuse to fund the card as the card is no longer functional.

If you read her message well you will see that the driver did not end the trip till much later...personally I have been treated this way by a driver and know how annoying it is.. please let's always respect ourselves...if you have been privileged to work with extremely rich people that work for their money legit you will figure out easily what I'm saying is true.,,,dey dont dash you money but make you work for it...it's mostly yahoo boys and politicians or people that make the money illegitimately that throw money around...any hardworker does not
