The whites hate Africa and cannot see anything good come out of it. They have already termed a project that is only 3yrs old a "ghost city" and have started running it down with negative propaganda. |
He has a point. I support. Let him initiate a bill to the National Assembly for amendment. |
Buhari will be smiling reading these Facebook comments. |
. |
OP You know these APC folks are liers. They will keep exposing themselves like that. |
So shameful how a formally revered news media like PUNCH could reduced itself to the abyss in a spate of two years.I have said it before, whoever owns that paper should change the entire management and editorial team else those guys will kill that newspaper before his very eyes. |
1) “On arrival, the former governor of Osun State stood up to acknowledge Tukur’s presence . . . " Onyilola acted gentlemanly showing all required respect to his boss and elder 2) "Tukur, on his way to boarding, went to Prince Oyinlola, stretched out his hand for a handshake, which eventually ended with the two of them in another warm embrace." Both men did what was required. Kudos to Turkur for making the move but why wait for that long until boarding? 3) According to an aide, Alhaji Tukur was said to have asked Oyinlola jokingly that, “Can I still call you the Prince of peace I used to call you?” while Oyinlola was said to have replied ”yes Baba, I remain peaceful and principled.” Seriously, these guys dey use our heads . . . |
PUNCH is a very big disgrace. Their entire mgt team and editorial board need overhauling. Those we have there now think with their anus and have sold their conscience for Tinubu's money |
That is, every 1 in 2 Nigerians is a destitute? Lie! This report is grossly inaccurate. |
ozolity: Amechi over to u. Where re the 19?One APC governor did not even attend that meeting and did not vote. How did Ameachi get 19 govs voting for him that he has been unable to call out for a meeting? The much publicized Sokoto retreat was dominated by Deputy govs and still less than 13 states were represented. |
The truth is coming out All Progressivethieves Congress keeps exposing itself |
Anambra election protesters, not Igbos, says Obi’s aide on november 20, 2013 at 2:37 am in anambra elections, news The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Peter Obi of Anambra State on Media and Publicity has called on the people of the state to remain calm over the stage-managed protest against the November 16, governorship poll in the state. Obienyem, in a statement, yesterday, said that investigations revealed that those who protested, especially the women that pretended to be crying placards were imported into Anambra State from Osun State in five chartered luxurious buses. He said: “Chris Ngige and his group wanted protests at all costs, but when our people, who already know him for what he is, refused, they had to go to Osun State. “Even when they imported some boys from Imo State to protest as students, the Vice Chancellor of Nnandi Azikiwe University, Prof. Egboka, was alarmed when contacted on phone. He had to rush down to the school for investigations. Having discovered that those involved were not his students, he warned against those who lost and said he had checked with all his relevant officials who confirmed that the story of UNIZIK students was fallacious. We have our respects, belief and integrity.” Obienyem added that on further investigation and interrogation of the boys, they confessed that All Progressive Congress, APC people paid them N1,500 each and chartered the buses that conveyed them from Imo State to Anambra. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/11/anambra-election-protesters-igbos-says-obis-aide/ |
Happy Birthday, sir. |
I understand Tony Nwoye's frustrations. It's not easy. I am his supporter but APGA won that election. And from the looks of things even though INEC cancels and re conducts the election five times APGA will still win. |
Nigeria's own brand of opposition politicians are resorting to lies, lies and more lies. Just two weeks ago, one riff-raff senator came up with his own fabrication about N500b SURE - P funds missing. That Christopher Kolade told his committee that he has received only N300b out of the N800b that accrued. His little brain failed to remind him that the N500b would be the state govt and LGA own share of the SURE - P since Christopher Kolade only collects FG's own share. Ameachi talks before he reasons and some of us were really not surprised when we read that story credited to him. |
This conversation is an honest truth |
OP, you are a genius. Kudos. |
The writer is right. Ngige may be a good man but belongs to the wrong party and mingles with the wrong people. |

VICTORCIZA: Empty your tears to avoid heart failure.Bros, I feel you. The likes of Berem, Desola, fake Obiagelli, Agbameta, Take Dat etc really need help. |
The guy has borrowed so much for this election. He is probably crying about how he is going to pay back. |
Useless Osun Defender Useless PUNCH Useless The Nation Useless TVC Useless Radio Continental Useless Sahara Reporters All the APC lying media will be disgraced. |
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhaahahahahahahahahahahaha I must laugh eventhough my preferred candidate Tony Nwoye may not make it. |
berem: This is a clear case of robbing peter to pay paul. If a credible election cannot be conducted in 21 local government, then we have a long way to go in this country.Shaarraappp your mouth! Cry cry baby. I was a supporter of Tony Nwoye and hoped he won but I knew in my heart that beating APGA in Anambra with Ojukwu death or alive won't be a child's play. If not that Ngige as a person just like Oshiomole is very popular among his people APC would not even emerge 7th on the table |
APC should be ignored. The confab committee should just pretend as if those vagabonds do not exist |
Ameachi is just eager to make headline news. |
I have read through the whole story and can say Ameachi is just eager to make headline news. |
Jona Jang remains the authentic NGF chairman. |
Inflation down to 7.8% November 15, 2013 • By Our Reporter … Lowest in 10 months FROM ISAAC ANUMIHE, ABUJANigeria’s inflation rate has, for the 10th month, dropped from 8 per cent in September 2013 to 7.8 per cent in October. A Consumer Price Index report released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), for October, shows that inflation dropped to 7.8 per cent year-on-year, 0.2 percentage points lower from 8.0 per cent recorded in September. Rates recorded in October indicate a continual downward trend for the 10th consecutive month. “This is also the lowest rate recorded in the index since March 2008” NBS said, adding that food prices continued to trend lower for the third consecutive month as a result of the harvest season that traditionally begins in July every year. The harvest has weighed on prices of bread, cereals, meat, fish and dairy classes while prices of the potatoes, yam, other tubers class remain unchanged, indicating a moderation in inflation rate. However, prices strengthened in the oils and fats, fruits and vegetable classes saying that the core sub-index has trended upwards for the fourth consecutive month. The rate of increase was however tempered by moderations in the “housing water, electricity, gas and other fuels” as a result of moderation in liquid fuel (kerosene) prices, the transportation division as well as the education division as demand for items such as textbooks have moderated being well into the school year. It should be noted that the headline index is made up of the core index and farm produce items as processed foods are included in both the core and food sub-indices, which implies that these sub-indices are not mutually-exclusive. Also, in October, the headline index increased by 0.75 per cent month on month, relatively unchanged from the rate of increase observed in the headline index in September The urban composite CPI was recorded at 149.1 points in October, a 7.9 per cent year-on-year increase. This was marginally lower than the 8.0 per cent year-on-year change recorded in September. The corresponding rural national CPI recorded a 7.8 per cent year-on-year change in October, 0.2 percentage points lower than the 8.0 per cent recorded in September. On a month-on-month basis, the urban all-items index increased by 0.8 per cent in October, unchanged from the rate recorded in September. The rural all items index was also roughly unchanged from month-on rates recorded in September as it increased by 0.73 per cent. http://sunnewsonline.com/new/cover/inflation-7-8/ |
SSS should chase him out of Anambra. Simple! |
And what is that bloodsucking Boko Haram mentor doing in Anambra? SSS should please chase him out ASAP. APC are showing Nigerians their true colours. Earlier, they dispatched election rigging thugs disguised as observers and were caught. |
