1) Ameachi is only digging his own grave by trying hard to create disaffection between two peaceful sister states of Bayelsa and Rivers in the name of politics. Luckily enough the people understand his gimmicks. 2) GEJ did not seize any oil well from Rivers for Bayelsa State. The Soku oil Wells he keeps talking about were given to Bayelsa by Obasanjo in 2006. Rivers also gained other oil Wells from Bayelsa, Abia, Imo and Akwa Ibom states during the period. 3) Most people in PH know the truth and have realised he is only hyping the oil Wells issue for selfish political reasons. |
Madam, shut up and go enjoy Osun state treasury with your husband. Aregberascal is an Islamic bigot and we all know it. By the way, does he really have mental problems as widely speculated? |
Ameachi is gradually running mad. He now dances and laugh out loud impulsively like a mad man. |
By the way, when will he respond to Iyabo's letter? |
OBJ is jealous that GEJ will eventually outshine him. Has any Nigerian President been able to beat this? 1) Between 1999 and 2007, OBJ attracted $24b in FDI but just under 3yrs GEJ has attracted over $25b and still counting . . . 2) From independence to 2010, Nigeria made it to the UN Security Council only thrice but under just three years of GEJ we've been elected twice. 3) 12 brand new Universities have been established by a three year old administration |
Cuche: What spectacular thing has Obi done to merit that nomination. If you go to some states you will be ashamed to say you are from Anambra State. Those governors I mentioned should come far before Obi on that list.Hahahahahaha. . . you mentioned Wamakko, Kwakwanso etc. So these guys have suddenly turned high performers because they joined APC a month ago? Hahahahaha, you see your miserable hypocritical life? |
OP, you talk down on Obi because he prevented your APC theives - the likes El - Rufai, Gov Ameachi, Aregbesola and his 181 touts who disguised as election observer to rig Anambra elections Just checked your background. You registered on nairaland on May 10, 2013 and have created 6 threads so far but incidentally all of them are about Peter Obi. What is your obsession with Peter Obi? Is he the cause of your miserable upbringing? |
GEJ is a blessing to Nigeria. Gradually, all the the demons (OBJ, Tinubu, Atiku, Buhari etc) that have looted our treasury, stagnated Nigeria's growth and spilled so much blood are now being seived out to one corner which they call APC for eventual supernatural havoc. |

The allegation of training snipers to assassinate political opponents is particularly incomprehensible to me. Since I started my political career as a Deputy Governor, I have never been associated with any form of political violence. I have been a President for over three years now, with a lot of challenges and opposition mainly from the high and mighty. There have certainly been cases of political assassination since the advent of our Fourth Republic, but as you well know, none of them occurred under my leadership - GEJ |
Did OBJ have a hand Murtalar Muhammed assassination? Corruption has been with us for many years. You will recall that your kinsman, the renowned afro-beat maestro, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti famously sang about it during your first stint as Head of State. Sonny Okosun also sang about corruption. And as you may recall, a number of Army Generals were to be retired because of corruption before the Dimka coup. Also, the late General Murtala Mohammed himself wanted to retire some top people in his cabinet on corruption-related issues before he was assassinated. Even in this Fourth Republic, the Siemens and Halliburton scandals are well known. |
Goddex: Obasanjo wanted to bomb INEC headquarters to frustrate elections and achieve tenure elongation through the backdoor? Read thisOBJ must reply this |
Perhaps the most invidious accusation in your letter is the allegation that . . . I am training snipers and other militia to assassinate people. Baba, I don’t know where you got that from but you do me grave injustice in not only lending credence to such baseless rumours, but also publicizing it. You mentioned God seventeen times in your letter. Can you as a Christian hold the Bible and say that you truly believe this allegation? . . . I urge you to kindly tell Nigerians who they are and what agencies of government are “watching” them. . . . Nigerians are waiting for your evidence of proof. That was an accusation made against previous administrations, including yours, but it is certainly not my style and will never be - GEJ |
Obasanjo wanted to bomb INEC headquarters to frustrate 2007 elections and achieve tenure elongation through the backdoor? Read this You will recall three incidents that happened in 2007 which seemed to have been orchestrated to achieve sinister objectives. Here in Abuja, a petrol tanker loaded with explosives was to be rammed into the INEC building. But luckily for the country, an electric pole stopped the tanker from hitting the INEC building. It is clear that this incident was meant to exploit the general sense of insecurity in the nation at the time to achieve the aim of stopping the 2007 elections - GEJ |
You have always referred to how you hit Odi in Bayelsa State to curb militancy in the Niger Delta. If the invasion of Odi by the Army was the stick, I did not see the corresponding carrot. I was the Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State then, and as I have always told you, the invasion of Odi did not solve any militancy problem but, to some extent, escalated it. If it had solved it, late President Yar’Adua would not have had to come up with the amnesty program. And while some elements of the problem may still be there, in general, the situation is reasonably better - GEJ |
That is my President. A very robust reply there. |
Joe Igbokwe can keep bragging. In politics bragging is allowed but the last I checked . . . 1) PDP still controls 18 states while APC 16 2) The LP state of Ondo and APGA Anambra are in an informal alliance with PDP and will likely work for the PDP 3) Accord party too is in working alliance with PDP 4) I can bet, the Senate will never go the way of APC but I know APC may succeed in widening it's slim lead in the House of Reps 5) In summary, PDP still remains the party to beat |
Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. . . Naija no dey carry last |
OBJ should cover his face in shame |
Leadership Newspaper, who are these faceless PDP elders? Nonsense story |

This is a brilliant Satire |
ckkris: With Obasanjo, Atiku, Tinubu, plus the Boko Haram governors. You took the words out of my mouth |
Now, the true leaders of the South West are talking |
Brilliant piece, OP Though a joke, but very on point. |
APC hypocrites are blind to this |
Shine It: See this one, yesterday you were all saying she was incapable of writing such a letter. Stop moving the goal post, she did write the letter so live with it.Don't mind him. He is a hypocrite. Yesterday, they were all here shamelessly attempting a denial for Iyabo quoting AIT, Ray power, Rainbow FM etc. Realising the lies could not fly, they are gradually changing tone. Shameless things. |
Iyabo Obasanjo wrote that letter. There is nothing PUNCH, Fani Kayode, APC or OBJ can do about it. They are putting in great energy to misinform unsuspecting Nigerians into believing that the letter was forged from Presidency. What a shame!!! Shame on PUNCH newspaper!! Shame on APC!!! So, Obasanjo is now a good man because he joined in criticising GEJ. You guys can 'Go and Die' for all I care. |
