Lie lie lie lie lie propaganda. I am in Calabar now. There is fuel everywhere. The highest price is 141 naira (mostly independent marketers), the least is NNPC and some major marketers 139 naira. Whoever wrote this piece is just heating up the issue. |
Lie Lie story. That picture is Ojota, Lagos. Niger Delta is very peaceful. No one is prostesting. |
@Alh_harem You are a stupid goat. Where did Okonjo Iweala tell you that? What do you gain by fabricating lies on the net? Besides, why would a post like this one make the homepage? Seun and Mukina2, you sometimes belittle this forum. Nairaland should be bigger than all these baseless rumours. |
There is no subsidy protest in Benin. People should stop lying. I am in Benin now. People are not pleased though, but they have taken it in good faith believing that GEJ will not disappoint. Benin is calm. |
There are no protests in Nigeria. Just a few sponsored thugs making noise and burning tyres for pressmen to take pictures. |
Ibadan is a big disgrace to Nigeria. Bad roads, rusted roof, dirty surroundings. |
You know, these days for you to be an intellectual and for people to listen to you, you have to abuse government - GEJ |
But the schools mentioned here are all missionary (christian) schools. Why do muslims like trouble? Is it because Osun state now has a muslim governor (Aregbesola)? |
Muhammadu Buhari Reason: Politics with bitterness |
Mr President, please publish them now now now now . . . today today. |
Federal Government to Publish Names of Fuel Subsidy Beneficiaries! NaijaPundit sources have informed us that the Presidency is preparing for publication a list of the identities of the cartel behind the fuel importation racket that has benefitted from the fuel subsidy that costs the federal government 1.3 trillion Naira annually. Sources said that the publication of the list has become imperative because of the duplicity of certain opposition elements who are part of those benefitting from the whole subsidy racket and yet are playing to the gallery by attacking the government's plan to remove the subsidy on fuel. Some of these elements who lost out in the Jonathan regime have latched on to the proposed policy of removing the subsidy on fuel as a means to launch themselves back into political reckoning. This action has disgusted some within the inner circle of the Jonathan administration because of two reasons. First a lot of these elements have their hands in fuel importation racket and secondly some of them were among those who attacked the administration of President Obasanjo for selling the nation's refineries to Dangote and Otedola and piled pressure on President Yar'adua to make him reverse the sales. They point to the fact that if the refineries had been left in the hands of Dangote/Otedola, they would have been producing at maximum capacity and would have been expanded. They point to the fact that when the federal government sold Benue Cement Company to Dangote, the people of Benue complained but Obasanjo stood his grounds and today the company's profitability has increased by over 400% while it's staff strength has increased by 200%. In fact, the Special Adviser to President Jonathan on Political Matters in a moment of candor let the cat out of the bag on the plans by the Presidency to embarrass the cartel behind the importation of fuel by publicizing their names just like CBN governor Sanusi Lamido Sanusi did with the case of bank debtors in 2009. http://www.naijapundit.com/news/federal-government-to-publish-names-of-fuel-subsidy-beneficiaries |
Obsolete machines. New ones are needed instead. |
Well, where I live is save. |
These PHCN workers do not deserve any payrise. |
Wahala deyooooo |
DrummaBoy:Goodnews your asss. The ruling doesn't change anything neither does it give Buhari any edge. It's just one of those delay tactics by GEJ's team. |
Bunch of area boys. From their leader Tinubu, Lai Muhamed, Aregbesola, Rejected and former PDP criminals Amusun, Ajumobi, Achike Udenwa, terrorist Udoedeghe etc. The only sane guy in the group is Fashola. |
The worst elections in the history of this country was conducted in Lagos state two weeks ago by an ACN led government. |
These ACN rascals and their use of strong language. Where is Lai Muhammed? Besides if "The Nation Newspaper" continues like this, with time, very short time, it will loose readership. |
The House of Reps plans to cripple the prosecution of Dimeji Bankole and other indicted principal members of the former house including the speaker himself. We know their gameplan. |
Fashola is the only gentleman in ACN - News Heheheheheh . . . Tinubu nko? Aregbe nko? them be rascals abi? But seriously, I think there are two gentlemen in ACN Fashola and Fayemi. |
Your suggestion makes sense. |
My guy, the worst elections in the history of this country has just been conducted in Lagos state. Fashola has dashed our hopes of a better Nigeria. He has allowed that owl-eyed Tinubu to always smear his good works. |
grafikii:Is that the best form of protest? GEJ was probably right when he described these ACN guys as rascals. Tinubu is exhibiting it at the code of conduct tribunal. By the way, what where these thugs going to do Abuja, with Osun state money? I just read from Sun Newspaper that Osun state is on life support with dwindling resources but the governor has money to waste on thuggery to show solidarity to Tinubu at the tribunal. |
@Gregg2 gregg2:Excellent argument. Pastor Ayo might be proved right afterall. |
The suspicion is that Tinubu used Salami to 'rig' Osun and Ekiti for ACN at the tribunal. That Ayo Salami is a gentleman but the real people behind the scene attempting to discredit the NJC are ACN and their cronies who feel they may not easily have their way again at the tribunal. PDP were not comfortable with the fact that even before the Osun ruling was delivered, ACN guys had begun popping champaign and celebrating victory. |
She should name her son Goodluck, Buhari is a perennial looser. |
Poster, Amusun (Ogun) and Ajumobi (Oyo) are muslims? I don't think so. |
Yes, that's my sincere wish to everyone. |
GEJ will win by a wide margin |
Photoshoped |
GEJ will win Saturday's election by a wide margin. |
