Sorry Dude; the evil country that your parents helped to create is killing all of us. Why are you crying?

Go to the east; the poors are surviving from trading; the "lazy elites" that killed our country cannot work, because the companies are dead. What do we have? Nothing. very soon the ministry and the few banks remaining will not enough for all of you.

PoliticsRe: El-rufai - Buhari Has Nothing To Offer, He Should Retire by Godmann(m): 1:44pm On Aug 20, 2013
My qualities of a good leaders entails sincerity, courage, smartness and principled.

Buhari will have 3/4 in all these. He is sincere, has courage and principled. He is not Smart. For Buhari to a successful President, he must work with smart people.

As for all the other leaders; they are mostly insincere criminals who lack principle. GEJ and Gowon never had courage. Some may think Obasanjo had courage; I tell you he never had. It was only when he had all the powers that he did what cowards do best - bulldoze and abuse weaker people. A study of Obasanjo's relationship with Nzeogwu, Danjuma and the recent revelations by one Alabi will do for him. GEJ was born a cunning weakling and so he will remain. Gowon was a scheming manipulator and he helped Ojukwu and others in bringing the war over us. IBB was an insincere criminal.

We will never get an angel to rule Nigeria. The criminals among us will always remind us of the failings of the few that are sincere. When we have a sincere man like Buhari; it is our duty to help cover his weak-points in changing our country.

Take it from me, sincere people are hardly Smart. It's takes criminal mind to be smart. let us not crucify Buhari for not being as smart as he should have been. If he has been smart; IBB's coup would have been avoided and our history would have been different.

Built2last: source: http://pointblanknews.com/pbn/exclusive/buhari-has-nothing-to-offer-should-retire-says-el-rufai/

The attention of Mallam Nasir El-Rufai has been drawn to statements from Generals Muhammadu Buhari and Ibrahim Babangida purporting to be responses to the advice he gave both men to retire.

Since Babangida libelled whole generations of Nigerian youth as being unfit for leadership, age has become an issue in the coming elections. While it is true that neither youth nor age supplies wisdom on their own, it makes sense to ask those who have been recurring decimals in our country’s sorry history to leave the stage. That is all El-Rufai asked of these men who seem to think that their failure to do their best for Nigeria when they had the chance qualifies them for a return to office. Our people surely deserve better.

El-Rufai is amazed that General Buhari cannot debate this matter without scurrying to the gutter, making claims that are baseless and unsupported by any facts. Mallam El-Rufai’s tenure as FCT minister was a period of stellar performance in remaking our federal capital. Despite the difficult decisions that had to be taken to restore Abuja, Mallam El-Rufai continues to receive deserved praise and recognition for his achievements in restoring the Abuja master plan, introducing Nigeria’s first computerised land registry and helping thousands of Nigerians achieve their dreams of home ownership in the federal capital. Buhari is perhaps one of a tiny few blinded by their prejudice from recognising the quality of El Rufai’s service.

That same prejudice accounts for the baseless claims of corruption Buhari levels against El Rufai. The fact is that Mallam El-Rufai served Nigeria with integrity and has never been convicted of any corrupt act. He is boldly contesting the false charges which the Yar’Adua government filed against him in court. It is strange that a Buhari who protests when unproven claims of N2.5 billion (about US $3billion in those days!) missing oil funds are levelled against him can gleefully elevate similar claims into facts when it concerns another. How would Buhari feel if the corruption allegations made against him by Group Captain Usman Jibrin, then a board member of PTF, are today reported as if they were proven facts? So much for “corrupt background” and “shoddy performance”.

Mallam El-Rufai wishes to remind General Buhari that he has remained perpetually unelectable because his record as military head of state, and afterwards, is a warning that many Nigerians have wisely heeded. His insensitivity to Nigeria’s diversity and his parochial focus are already well-known. In 1984, Buhari allowed 53 suitcases belonging to his ADC’s father to enter Nigeria unchecked at a time the country was exchanging old currency for new. Against all canons of legal decency, he used retroactive laws to execute three young men for drug-peddling after they were convicted by a military tribunal and not regular courts of law. Buhari was so high handed that he gave himself and his officials immunity even from truthful reporting. That obnoxious Decree 4, against which truth was no defence, was used to jail journalists and attempt to cow the media as a whole. That tyrannical legislation shows the essence of his intolerance. These are facts of recent history.

The story of counter-trade and import licensing, the cornerstone of Buhari’s stone-age economic strategy and those whose interests it served, is a tale for another day.

Mallam El-Rufai respects both Generals Buhari and Babangida as elder statesmen. He believes their age, experience and guidance may contribute to the success of any future government. El-Rufai however believes that it is time for a new generation of leaders with new thinking and wholesome democratic attitude to move our nation forward. The vicious response by the Buhari camp to a simple statement that their almost-70 principal should retire is proof enough that a Buhari, the new Democrat, tolerant of views different from his own, is yet to evolve. And that is sad, for his fledgling party and its leadership. Buhari and his cohorts may wish to reflect that it will take more than attacks on personalities to become electable. Having seen his version of discipline, Nigerians are not likely to cherish an encore. But they will welcome an engagement with the issues and problems of everyday life that have hobbled the peoples of this land
Let take be straight with facts here. Elrufai is obviously convinced Buhari was not corrupt. He was only trying to claim his innocence by reminding Buhari of false accusations against him.

Elrufai's only case against Buhari is what I have marked in Red.

His counter trading, he only called archaic and used the power of literature to hide the fact that he cannot make a good critic of it.

The next is the killing of Drug trafficker which I will call a minor error. Drug trafficker deserve to pay with their life; though it is improper to use a retroactive law to affect such.

The harassment of journalists may not be that bad knowing fully well how corrupt and willing to work for evil camps that our Journalists are.

The 10 suite cases is a clear error of judgement that might have helped corrupt individuals.

But one thing is clear, Buhari has made mistakes like every other normal human being; but has not been manipulative and lying like the IBBs, Abacha's, Abiola, Gowon,s Obasanjo's, and GEJ.

The people of Religion have never invented anything. They enlsaved us the blacks; your Bible encouraged slavery. Your churches financed Ships that helped to enslave Africans.

The Church contributed nothing to the numerous inventions of today. The Church supported Hitler and all the killers of our time. The Church has always been the home of Mafias and ,looters. They only appropriate what sane people have invented and claim to represent God.

Gandhi once said, "I love Christ, but hate the Christians". Christ himself condemned the church goers of yesterdays when he said his numerous "Woe to you Pharisees and Sadducees ... ".

I am convinced that Church is not a route to God. I know church is but a pretension to holiness.

Church is a masquerading under the name of God to exploit the ignorant masses.

No wonder the more they destroy our schools and impoverish; the more our churches grow in Number.

Where are the intellectuals of our land? limited.

PoliticsRe: Soludo's Manifesto For Anambra by Godmann(m): 12:59pm On Aug 07, 2013
Prof Corruption: It's not the list that's important but how to achieve what's on the list.
Anyone can promise to build bridges on Atlantic ocean linking Lagos to Newyork. But we should ask "how would that be actualized?" Where are the funds? Anambra IGR is 12billion naira. Wages bill is about 16billion. With paltry federal allocation, he wants to build African Dubai Taiwan, ADT? Anyone including Ifeanyi Ubah, Ngige or Andy could draw same list. What would then be the difference? Soludo should go a step further by detailing how some of these projects would be funded if elected.

Perhaps a convenient place to start is by telling the electorate his plans, strategies and the methodologies he would deploy to raise Anambra IGR.
In your support. All that Soludo has done is just copy and paste. Where and how is he going to raise money to build all these should be very important. I am not saying what he said is not achievable, but there is certainly no way these can be achieved in 8 years in Anambra State that is presently in Nigeria. If the Power in Abuja can pull some strings, then we can achieve 50 % of what he said. But beleieve me, with all other factors beyond a Governor, Soludo can hardly achieve 10% of what he said. In particular, there is no way a Governor can create a million Jobs in this country within 8 years. But only a change in Policy by Abuja can create 5 million Jobs in a year.

That is why I do not waste my Energy on who becomes a Governor. Nigeria problem is Abuja because what matter is the policy that can only be made at Abuja. Our Policing and courts alone if got to order will solve half of our problem. These are outside the control of a governor. Going into how Policing and courts kills our busineses and how these reflects in lessers jobs will make volumes. Also is our export/import policies. These are what is killing our economy and no governor can help it. Remember corruption, teh biggest headache can only be tackled by policing and courts.

In essence, there is very little Soludo can do.

Anyway, let him come out of copy and paste and be a bit practical. let him first diagnose the problem with us before offering his solutions.

By Saharareporters, New York
The Jama’atu Nasir Islam (JNI), led by Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar III, today declared that there was a grand design to plunge Northern Nigeria – and by extension Nigeria – into a deeper crisis.

The Sultan, who is the leader of Nigerian Muslims, was reacting to yesterday’s bombings in the Sabon Gari area of Kano town and Saturday’s violent attacks in Borno State. The Sultan’s reaction was contained in a statement issued in Kaduna.

It stated: “JNI once again under the leadership of His Eminence, Alhaji Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar, CFR, mni, the Sultan of Sokoto and the President-General, received with bewilderment the news of the orchestrated multiple bomb blasts which were reported to have occurred yesterday night, at Sabon Gari, Kano, Kano State resulting in collateral damages and many lives lost. We strongly condemn the inhuman and ungodly act in its totality as it is reprehensible, and we equally call for calm and restraint. As it has always been our prayers, whatsoever is the intent/motive of the perpetrators of these contemptible acts, they will never succeed insha'Allah.

“JNI is perplexed that this act of unleashing terror on human lives continues unabated, despite visible number of uncountable security check-points mounted all through Northern Nigeria. More worrisome is the fact that this beastly act of terror comes just 24 hours after unleashing same on fishermen and traders in Kaka and Kukawa Local Government Areas of Borno State, which also claimed many innocent lives and [the loss] of many properties worth millions of naira.”

The JNI further stated: “These repeated acts call for concerted introspection, as they again point to the fact that there is the urgent need for proactive and effective ways of addressing these precarious security upheavals presently being witnessed in the country. JNI is also worried and cannot understand what is really happening. The perpetrators should be fished out and punished in accordance with the laws of the land.

“While we send our condolences to the families of the bereaved, the Government of Borno and Kano States, their Royal Highnesses, Shehu of Borno and the Emir of Kano, we once again call on all concerned as a matter of urgency to nip in the bud future re-occurrences, which we don't pray for. As it is becoming more and more glaring to the right thinking person, there is a grand design to push the entire North into deeper crises and by extension the Nigerian federation.

“Therefore, we call on all Muslims to fervently engage in Du’a (prayer), that will bring an end to these nagging nightmares of insecurity in our great country and may Allah, the Most High, save us from the enemies of peace and development, whosesoever they may be, especially that we are in the most sacred days of Ramadan. Hence all Imams are to include this in their respective Al-Qunut (special prayers). Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!”

Just like during the War; North, Westand South South celebrated the demise of the Okoroman. Today we can see the War: It spelled teh end of a working Nigeria.

The Boko haram of today that seemed to target the North is targeting not only the destruction of Nigeria; but the final silencing of the hope of the Blackman. Nigeria is teh only country that can galvanise the Blackman.

Duru1: You have indicted the basis of your argument through the first paragraph. How does being a part of Nigeria prevent harassment of Igbo in Ghana and Cameroon? It is very unfortunate you claimed to be Igbo yet showed damnable ignorance on the geographical delineation of Igbo land. In fact, you are one of those Igbo peeps that compromise the very existence of Igbo people. I honestly do not think Igbo land wants a son or daughter such as you.

When Nigeria disintegrates, please I urge you not to show face in Igbo land because, according to you, it is landlocked. I guess you need to know that one of viable economies in Africa is at home in a landlocked country.

It is unfortunate you dabbled into the so-called economic zones. I should not remind you that countries in the so-called economic zones developed independently and agreed to trade with each another as different entities. If you want to create economic or trade zones of former Nigerian countries or Nigerian Union, I say fine but you should desist from injecting empty argument that can undermine the nationalistic spirit of people looking for true unity that is fueled by identical culture and tradition.

Let me tell you, Nigeria is created to have people who fortunately found themselves in corridor of power to embezzle as much as they could without empathy. Nigeria is a joke and does not entice any sense of patriotism. I had rather have Republic of Igbo land that is struggling economically with bunch of patriotic individuals than Nigeria full of honey with despicable bas.tards.
I did not see a single line of reason telling me how Igbos will be better of economically as a country than as part of a bigger Nigerian Market. Tell me, do you have any idea of Economy? Do you know what a country really mean and the decision a country can make to create a better economy for its citizens?

Do you expect all of us to be guided by un-intelligent emotional outburst?

In specifics, how do Biafra survive without access to the sea if The Niger Delta's choose to sabotage us? Are we going to Fight them in a war? Or route our import from Yoruba land or Cameroun? Can we feed ourselves without the foodstuffs from the North? Can we accommodate all our Traders knowing fully well that Nigeria cannot break up in peace, which means the North and West and South south will send our people home?

How easy will it be to build a common economic block with Arewa, oduduwa and Niger Delta when we break up giving the enemity that breaking up will create?

These are practical issues to be analysed; not idoitic un-intelligent outburst.

prove to me that you know what you are saying. Show me that you have some facts guys.

If you are truly Igbo as you claim to be, you should be knowledgebale; We are known to be knowledgeable man!!!

Duru1: I honestly want Republic of Igbo land. The number of nation states out of disintegrated Nigeria does not engender a thought in my mind as far as unity is drawn from culture and tradition of the people. I shall have no use for Lagos or Abuja gateways as well as Tin Can. Each republic will be able to learn from each other by rejecting political blunders exhibited by another.
I am Igbo like you. Tell me how Igbo will work as a country. What will be the fate of all Igbos in other parts of Nigeria including their investment? Do you think the countries that will emerge will protect them? Have you given a thougths to what is happening to Igbos in Ghana and cameroon; how they are being harrassed?

We will be harrased if and when Nigeria breaks up. Have you thought of being land-locked and its implications? The Niger Delta people will collect taxes on every dam import we make. What about ordinary foods?

When and how are you going to immediately replace the food stuffs coming down from Benue and the North? The yams, Tomatoes, onions and the rest?

What about our population explosion? How soon can we all cope if we all head home?

That apart, when you analyse the economy of scale and large market (which Nigeria can give better than your small Bifra/Ododuwa/Arewa); you will see we are better off staying together.

Ask yourself, why Ecowas, European Union and all the numerous trade zones of the world are coming together. It is only for the sake of big economic market. Now the market we have as being one country you are dividing. Are you aware China is China becuase of the size of their Economy? That is one advantage they have over America and Europe. Population counts when it comes to Economic power.

A country with large population will always attract investment. Such country can dictate the terms of such investments. A small country atracts no investment.

being very honest. Are you aware that Igbo land and South South is more corrupt that Northern part of the country when it comes down to individuals? How are we going to battle this corruption as a country.

I particular, till date, two individuals still pockets all the monthly allocation to my L.G.A. and no one can challenge them. That was how rotten Igbo land can be with our OMATTA mentality.

I see no better place in Igbo as a country than we can get in Nigeria. We can all make Nigeria work for all of us

The above crap accredited to one sultan in Sokoto is nothing but a coded message to fellow Muslims.

They don't control the military, but these people still operate from amongst their midst.
I remember clearly the time of Kidnappers in Aba? Why did we not say Igbos or even the Abian should solve the Kidnappers problem? Was it not a combined team of Nigerian Army and Police that went in to quench stuff.

Are we not avoiding the truth by saying the ordinary Northerners should confrot a wider and more difficult phenomnon called terrorrism?

My take is that Boko Haram is beyond ordinary people. I see frustration in the frustrations of the Sultan. I have seen such from Adebayaro of Kano and Shehu of Borno.

As one who have read much about how my people suffered during Biafra and wish nobody such fate; as one who still nurse the aim that Nigeria may work for the benefit of every Nigerian in particular and Blackman in general; as one who sees the hope of a rejevunated Africa from a standing Nigeria; I wish we can stand up as a people and challenge Boko Haram.

I wish we should challenge GEj to confront Boko haram; and give us reasonable explanation to who are responsible for this carnage. I wish anyone who cannot protect all of us as equal citizens should never aspire to rule us.

I wish I can muster the capacity to put this Boko haram to a stop and not onlyt expose all those behind it; but call them to justice.

Iyfe Namikaze: Is it the presidency that fight terrorrism or the military?
The Presidency is the Commander in Chief of the military. He is like the Managing Director who runs it. When he fails in his appointments of key personell, the military fails. If he gets it rights, the military works.

To the extent that the military fails is the failing of whoever becomes the presidency.

Remember SSS and NIA is more important when it comes to fighting Terrorism than the normal soldiers. They should have gone underground, taps phones, monitor movement os money from banks to estblish who is funding Boko Haram.

When it comes to tapping activists and politicians phone numbers, they do it well. But when it comes to national security, they cannot do it. Because their motivation is selfish and evil.

I doubt their sincerity in all this. Honestly, I trust not even GEJ. So many bloods is being wasted. So many people are dying. Nothing is working. people are just stealing and playing politics.

ilugunboy: Nigeria has never have it this bad......
Yes. We have never had it this bad.

Most annoying is the fact that we lack the ability to see where the problem is coming from. And if we cannot diagnose the problem properly, a solution will never come.

Our enemies have succeeded in dividing us. They have set us against each other. So long as we remain divided; the mutual distrust and suspicion will never allow us see the truth.

The Igbos, Yorubas and Huasas; every other Nigerians residence in the North is being massacred on daily basis and no one is owning up to the responsibility of leading the task to reveal who the real killers are.

Can the North be destroying itself? I have serious doubt. Does the South have the capacity to inflict this level of damage on the North? I have doubts?

Who then is responsible? Can Northern go to the extent of maiming their people and their home economy for the sake of politics as being alleged by Southerners? This does not make sense.

Is Jonathan administration responsible? I cannot see how this can be possible?

Who then is responsible? I suspect an external Aggressor with ulterior motive. Which motive can I attribute to this? The motive of 2015 as stated years ago by the American secret services.

Who then is responsible for the carnage in northern Nigeria? I suspect same international spy-network working with some paid local collaborators.

Who is the Federal government culpable? Their inability to marshal a solution is telling. I suspect senior people in this government and the security services have been heavily compromised. Also very important is the fact that our military men these days are hardly qualified. Nepotism has finished every aspect of our national life.

Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!”

dolphinife: Let me state categorically that this woman has gone absolutelly beyond her limits. PEG was another factor that caused the DANA plane crash just because the airspace was close down against incoming aeroplanes. These, nobody will ever say out nor disclose to the general public.

Apart from the aircraft having engine malfunction, it would have landed with one engine somewhere in the airport had it been the airport wasn't closed down to incoming aeroplane. The black box wouldn't lie cos the controller general told the pilot to divert to another airport or go back to Ilorin reason being that PEG is around.

The same ugly incident almost happened personally to me when I boarded an arik flight frm Lag to PHC, Dec 2012. As we were to land, the controller told our captain to go back that PEG was around and the whole airport has been shut against incoming aeroplane. The pilot has to hover and hover for another 1.30minutes. By the time the aeroplane was allowed to land, the captain told us to thank our God dat had it been another five minute was added, the fuel would have finished and d aeroplane would just drop like a paper frm d sky. When we enter the terminal, we found retinue of aids and women numbering over 10,000who came to the airport singing and disturbing the peace of the airport.

Throughout my life as a Nigerian, I haven't heard, not for once that fomer first ladies does the same thing,be it military or civilian. Some people will now come here to stick their neck out for one despot who has silently pushed her husband aside
Thanks for this story. Ignorant and partisan Nigerians will never learn how to objectively face the truth. The woman stinks.
