Foreign AffairsRe: Wikileaks: Boko Haram Is A CIA Covert Operation by Godmann(m): 11:21am On Mar 01, 2013
coolzeal: If at all this is genuine which of course has some element of truth in it because the CIA actually created and funded Al Qaeda then for the first in my life, I felt ashamed to be a black man or a Nigerian. How could how leaders and their Northern counterpart be so crude. Boko Haram group and our sellout leaders are black Africans and they derive pleasure in sending this country to chaos and destruction. Shame on all of them but then again our leaders so corrupt and incompetent.
You called them your leaders; are they truly one? have you taken time to study the emergence of the leadership in our lands? have you taken into account that majority of those in leadership in Nigeria; especially those from the South emerged from "Warrant Chief syndrome". Warrant Chief is purely an agent of controlling bribing our people against us. Also, those that first accepted the Whiteman and his ways are those that can be called "outcasts and never do wells" in our society then. Knowing fully well who empowered them; do you expect them to work for the interest of the whiteman or that of the Society that have no regard for them.

At the core of these was the emergence of the present attitude of leadership in serving the Whiteman's interest over our local interest. This also is the cause of all our problem.

To an average westerner, government is like an association where all members of the society have equal stake; whereas to us, government is a MASQUERADE where some hide to exploit other members of the society. This arose because of the way they administered our land during colonization. remember they never allowed us the freedom to choose our leaders even after Independence; so we have not been able to take full control and reshape our society. They have continued to destabilize us by imposing and supporting those amenable to their interest against our local society and our local values.

If you can get this philosophy, you will get to the foundation of our problem as a people. Even the prolems that the west did not cause directly still linked up to the ways they colonised us.

qwest: I am constantly amazed that people give China's willingness to carry out straight batter or exchange with African countries as a plus for Africans. The so called terms attached to most trade, loans and grants from the west are geared towards the long term growth of the economies. These same strings are being attached to loans and grants given by EU to their member states of Ireland, Italy, Greece, etc. Yet most will have us believe that the terms are only targeted at African nations. Haven't countries like Argentina, Brazil, Malaysia, etc gone through reforms instigated by the IMF and come out stronger? While we jettison ours midway and continue our profligate and unplanned ways expecting things to change.
None of the countries mentioned survived IMF imposed reforms. Argentina in particular till date refused to pay their debt. Remember when they had 5 different government in 5 days as a consequence of Economic hardship caused by SAP. That quickly learned their lesson and took a different path from the IMF reforms is what you are here given as a plus to IMF.

Exactly what the Western liars will want you to believe.

ckkris: The CIA sponsored Maina to hide billions of pensioners money in his younger brother's personal bank account, yielding interest of over 100 million naira every month. Abujbreaks.
Come grow up guys. CIA did not sponsor Maina, but they caused the conditions that made Maina and his likes possible in Nigeria. When Buhari and Idiagbon was cleansing the country who stopped them?

Who in Nigeria can get the Kings of Saudi Arabia to play the ignoble role they played in luring Idiagbon out of the country in order to wet the grounds for criminal IBB? Did IBB not play to their tune but imposing IMF SAP that destroyed our Economy for the benefit of the West.

I lived in Britain for years and I kept hearing the Regan/Tatcher magic. What was the magic? They changed the course of the Western Economy for better by the mid-1980s. How did they do it? By imposing SAP on middle Economies then. The likes of Agentina, Brasil, Nigeria etc.

What does it take Nigerians to accuse CIA for nothing. It hurts very much when the very people we suffer with cannot come to true reralisation of who our common enemy is?

It is not our fault that some of us choose not to be curious enough to read. It is VERY UNFAIR for some of us to be lazy and refuse to read and expect that after reading, researching, enquiring and daring authorities in order to establish the truth; the few that got the true picture will have to break their head to fed in all the facts of the world.

Why is Africa poor? Why was was Africa enslaved? Why did they kill of the Red Indies of America from the face of the earth? Why was our land called the white man's grave 500 years ago?

Why was Patrick Lumumba killed and Mobutu Seseko imposed? Who created Idi Amin before he turned against them? What about the politics of Zimbabwe? What about our own Muritala who tried to rally Africa against Apartheid in South Africa. Who lured Dimka to murder him?
Fin
People should just read about the Apartheid and the struggles including the positions of the West. Are you aware that Mandela was labeled a terrorist by your darling Americans who today have shameless turned to accept the same person as a model?

If you lack the knowledge to dot the i's and cross the t's; that is your fault and you should not drag us back.

You should also be aware that it is for same reason that they have always imposed "MUMU's" on us as leaders; aka: Belawa (in comparison to ZIk and Awolowo), Gowon, Shagari, GEJ. How did they do it? Go read about wire tapping, how they move money to support their candidates during elections, and the activities of secret spynetworks.

Just pick out the keywords and google them. Stop being lazy for the sake of our fatherland.

Billyonaire: You have not answered my questions, I can only but assume that you are one of those students who wrote fullscap sheets of essays in WAEC without a point relevant to the question> I repeat:I will support APC if one can tell me the prudent answers to the following questions and it falls under the ambiens of the Law:

1. Why did Buhari truncate the Democratic Government of Shagari through Coupe d'e tat ?
2. Where is Tinubu's source of Wealth ?

These 2 are the ones spearheading the APC.
Buhari truncated democracy because NPN was leading the country to doom then. I was a child then running around my street then in Ogui-Enugu and I saw all the old men and women in Enugu then celebrating the demise of Shagari and his NPN Government. Buhari acted immediately by trying and convicting all the politicians for stealing our money.

His policies were brilliant until IBB in connivance with the corrupt politicians with International spy-network overthrow his government.

As for Tinubu, I am not a fan of his, but so long as he choose to work with the Progressive as s "MEMBER" and not as a leader, I am okay with it. Even GEJ is welcomed to APC as a supporter and member but not a leader. All votes are welcome. What is needed is the soul of Nigeria to be taken from PDP roques and given to a trusted fellow like, Buhari, Sanusi, Ken Nnamani, Ngige, Fashola, Mamora, etc.

eldoradoxx: Am glad the budget has been signed. The new FG contract that our organisation got a week ago can now be performed well. A lot depends on budget in this country and this I have found out. GEJ was actually right in withholding assent but made a smart move in signing when he did. The next step is to come up with an Appropriation Act (Amendment) Bill to ask National Assembly to amend the controversial aspects. Furthermore the issue of constituency projects stil remain a major point of dispute. What business has FG in sinking water borehole in my village in the name of constituency project? What business does FG in buying sewing machine, pepper and tomatoe grinders etc in the name of constituency projects? These projects funds are avenue to overbloat the budget and loot pulic funds by legislators who get the contracts awarded to themselves or agents(ministries under which the project falls dare not award the project unless the representative of the constituency in NASS approves or nominates the contractor). Again NASS was being childish when they refused making budgetary provision for SEC an organisation where hundreds of Nigerians work and earn their pay just because they have issues with th DG. What has the cleaners, the drivers, the clerks and other workers who might not be paid a dime this year got to do with the suabble btw Oteh and NASS as warranting denying them of their salaries? This is unfair
If the Executive is serious and clean, what stopped them from investigating the usage of the constituency project funds by the Legislatures? What happens is that because the Executive is stealing massively from the other allocations which members of the Legislature are very much aware of; they also choose to cut their own cake.

The Executive and their cohorts keep presenting the Legislature as the only thieve whereas the Legislature took a cue from the Executive. Let the truth be known, their is so much power for a serious President to clean up this country. A Criminal president that is busy looting the country and keeping a blind eye to the several breaches of our constitution lacked the moral right to fight the Legislature whose only crime is emulating it. No amount of propaganda can confuse the issue.

People should beware of falling into the antics of the Executive. People should understand that their is enough resources and power for a committed President to reform the country. Going against the Legislature is not in our best interest as a people. Remember the days of Okadigbo/Na'abba vs. Obasanjo. The press foolishly fell for Obasanjo antics until he pocked the legislature. What followed was an attempt for an unconstitutional third term. Obasanjo could not have dreamt that had the courageous Okadigbo and Na'abba been around.

The first step toward the destruction of democracy is to destroy the Legislature. Our dictatorial president, the cohort and the press is in the habbit of painting the legislatures as corrupt while under-reporting that of the Executive. The Executive steal in Trillions while the Legislatures steal in millions. Nigerians beware!!!

Symphony007: Does it not bother anybody how dictatorial the national assembly is getting? I've lost count of how many times they have threatened to overturn a presidential veto to bills that suit their personal interest. Their are even bills on the house floor seeking to scrap the presidential assent to bill, the supreme courtt had better do something because those honorable fools be accumulating their salaries, pumping more money into a non-existent constituency project scheme, and no one will do anything rather when things go wrong it's GEJ!!
I wonder what you want the Supreme court to do. The Legislature is the supreme head in a democratic system. It is up to the Executive to free up the electoral process and educate the people so that we can elect sane legislatures. But the court have no power over the legislature.

The Executive can however prosecute individual members of the Legislature on proven cases of corruption. But the Legislature as a body is the lord over both the executive and the judiciary.

Why link Igbos to a clueless GEJ?

The Igbo ingenuity forced away the white man; while the conspiracy of the West and North destroyed our Federalism. Your hero Awolow sat on a table with Gowon when the killed our Federalism. Today you people are in pretence as the greatest agitator of true Federalism; yet in 2007 when a vote was casted in favour of 25% derivation; only the Igbos and south south representative voted Yes; while yoyr deceptive leaders voted No.

ZIK and his generation of Igbo leaders helped in getting our Independent. We have had very articulate Igbos and people from South South until the Northern and Western cabals cornered and ruined this country.

It will be good if you can go back to recent history and tell us who articulated the present 6 zonal arrangement and derivation formula which I claim is the only positive political progress we have made since after the war. You should also trace the people that connived to destroy our true Federalism by taking away all the power due to the regions; and lumping same at the centre; at a time when Igbo were fighting the Biafran war.

Go ask your Yoruba father and northern leaders why they conspired to destroy our country as negotiated from the British by the able NCNC members lead by Igbos after the demise of Macaulay.

Most importantly, you should find our who encouraged GEJ to contest the election in breach of PDP zonning arrangement. It is your western elites that control the Press. You should also tell us who gave us a dying sick president and a clueless GEJ as Vice President. Try explain the role a criminal Tinubu played in denying Buhari Yoruba Votes during the last election.

The evil seed that some Yoruba's sowed we are reaping today.

Obasanjo destroyed PDP and Afenifere supported him. He dreamed third term and some Yorubas also supported him. It is his third ambition that gave rise to both Yar'adua and GEJ. Our opportunity to have a better government was single-handedly destroyed by Obasanjo who was brought out from prison and made a president on a platter of Gold. miiraaj: GEJ is really clueless! You guys seem to forget Anenih (Mr Fix it) is a political heavy weight in PDP,who has more knowledge on the intrigues and deceit of the killer party. Anenih is arguably the strongest man in PDP and thus shouldn't be seen as a toy whose fate is to be decided by clueless GEJ.

#Just an observation#
It is not GEJ deciding Anenih's fate, rather it is GEJ giving a criminal Anenih access to state instrument to be used to rig GEJ and his cohorts back to power. Anenih is detesting and a representation of everything evil in our land.

I don't give a damn about his like, my only anger is seeing the very people who are being cheated by Anenih and co like me (I mean all Nigerians that are not beneficiaries of the evil system we are in) who are foolishly supporting the evil people that have nothing good for our land.

All same people in our land should rather be organising to not only push the likes of Anenih to the background but to get back every kobo they have stolen for us and punish them for the millions of Nigerians which their bad governance have sent to early graves; and the millions of our youths who are lavishing without Jobs.

Being bullish is far from being intelligent. GEJ is clueless. He has shown his bullish ways. We have two years to stage the show. I am afraid he has shown his hand too early in the game and he will surely be dealt with.

I for one have never supported him because I know crooks when I see them. I know him immediately he denied zoning. I also know him as a criminal fool. Now that more Nigerians who has suffered the present hardship in the land are seeing his hands early in the game; they will surely swell the numbers that is required to boot him out.

As for you, you have nothing to gain by celebrating a fool who has imposed himself on a dying nation without brains to lead us out of the woods. If we remain under GEJ you will certainly suffer with us; if we liberate Nigeria, you will also enjoy as every Nigeria. My annoyance is that people like you are making all of us suffer the criminal rule of PDP.

If we have had a different country where Buhari had been our President for these two years that GEJ has been there, you would have seen enough of what good government is to envy us a learn what true leadership entails. Unfortunately, we must find a way to drag people like you along; we must get a majority to begin to build a country we can call ours. So unfortunately, but that we must do.

Nigerians think.

Why are we like thishuhhuh??

It is very possible that Iran has Spynetwork in Nigeria. But it is a very known fact that America and the West in general not only have Spy all over Nigeria, the Control our government.

)

I stronly suspect that America sponsored the killing of Muritala Mohammed. They helped to ease off Buhari and Idiagbon. They brought evil IBB on us for their interest.

I am sure America must have tried to reveal Iran Spy activities in Nigeria or has created them out of Nothing.

I believe that even if Iran is spying on Nigeria, that the aim is purely to get back at Isreal and America and not to control nigeria in any way because they have near zero economic interest in Nigeria.

So, why is our SSS taking side on a war between Iran and the West if not because the fools that rule us are agents of the evil forces that have held the blackman back.

Our leaders are agents of the west who ran our country for the interest of the West.

We must do away with them if we are to be a progressing country.

X-factoria:
Keshi is just playing to the gallery! He saw an opportunity to break free from the shackles of the NFF, to enjoy what Westerhof enjoyed while coaching the SE - free and direct access to the Presidency!. It is all politics.

Keshi is aware that the President is very elated about the triumph of the Super Eagles in S/Africa and would be ready to offer far reaching support going forward. So he capitalized on the "lack of confidence in him" by NFF members during the competition. He knows that the public impression of his capability has been enhanced by his success in SA and any move to remove him would totally seem unfair and in fact elicit public outcry.

If you ask me, the lack of confidence by NFF board is not out-of-place. Keshi's training programs for the competition were well funded. He insisted on camping in Faro, Portugal and had his way. He got top quality friendlies - one with the Catalonians, and his team list was left entirely for him to decide despite objections to some names by the NFF technical committee. So, with the poor results from the first two games, any board member's lack of confidence and a subsequent "no excuse for failure" posture would be justified.

Even though he deserved credit for the risk he took with unknown players and the success of this campaign, Keshi should stop all this hypocrisy and thank God for adding sugar to his tea. Siasia wasn't that lucky taking this sort of risks!
Myopic people always see luck where geniuses passed. It was luck that picked Mba from nowhere? It was same luck that dropped all the big names that would have caused distraction in the team.

Keshi may lack some tactical knowledge; but he is a good man-manager. He is a smart man. He was able to bring the best in Mikel, knowing fully well that Mikel never fancied playing for Nigeria. He was able to build a team where all the players love each other unlike what we have had. Keshi is an intelligent man; get it. Even the way he is taking the fight to teh corrupt NFF is a reflection of the Genius in HIM. I just love the man for his brain.

Brinkmanship (alternately, brinksmanship) is the practice of pushing dangerous events to the verge of—or to the brink of—disaster in order to achieve the most advantageous outcome. It occurs in international politics, foreign policy, labour relations, and (in contemporary settings) military strategy involving the threatened use of nuclear weapons

This man totally understands the game of power. Hehe. He is out to deal with the bigots in NFF. Now if he talks everybody will listen.
World cup is just a year away and there will be no better coach to man this wonderful squad Keshi has created.

Them go beg am. And I hope the bigots get flushed out of NFF. They would surely put up a tough fight and try to call his bluff. We the people should not leave him at this time. cbjonstage: finally, Pitroipa is set to play in FINAL....so burkinabe should not run their mouths and complain about dia key player anymore. below is the report:

Burkina Faso's star striker Jonathan Pitroipa, who picked up a red card in Wednesday's semifinal, is set to play in Sunday's Africa Cup of Nations final after all.
For Pitroipa to be able to take part the referee in Wednesday's game had to admit he had made a mistake in booking the player for a second time for diving, something Tunisian Slim Jdidi has now done, CAf president Issa Hayatou said.

"Everyone realised that this referee did not officiate well," Hayatou announced here on Friday.
"They've told me the referee has sent a letter saying he got it wrong.
"From this moment, the CAF executive committee will pass on the matter to the disciplinary commission, who will announce their decision today (Friday).
"The referee admitted his error in his report given to the (CAF) secretary general (Hicham El Amrani) – he recognised that he had got it wrong."
Jdidi's admission that he had erred paves the way for the red card to be rescinded and for Pitroipa to take his place in the Burkina Faso side to face Nigeria at Soccer City on Sunday.
Pitroipa produced the only goal in the 1-0 extra-time quarterfinal win over Togo.
He has helped lighten the blow of the Burkinabe losing their best striker Alain Traore to injury.
Jdidi, who has been suspended for his poor performance in Wednesday's game, sent off the Rennes forward in the 117th minute of the game that Burkina won on penalties against Ghana.

You guys are making assumptions here without taking into consideration the most critical factors. I had been in the fields since 1999 election and can tell you what happened in all the elections especially in the East.

How many of us, know that ANPP won the Presidential election in the East in 1999, but was rigged out by the Igbo elites who have a common agenda of “wanting to belong to a winning PDP”? That election was majorly boycotted in the East and the few that voted, who were mainly young men, voted massively for Olu Falaye. That was like a protest vote over the Loss of the PDP primary in Jos by Ekwueme.

The 2003 election in the East was no election. What we had, was massive thumb-printing of ballot papers after scaring people aware with gun-shootings. My old aunt then was crying when I insisted on going out to vote that day (Presidential election) based on their experience the previous voting day.(I always only have interest in presidential elections). Needless to say, that when I arrived I met groups of young men, "doing their paid work". I voted for APGA. I did it in such a way that they all saw my voting; just to hit back at them. Being one of their own, who they know very well, to be ready for trouble; and being aware that my one vote made no meaning; they allowed me to get aware with it.

2007 election, I can't say much b/c I was out of the country. But the report I got was worse. There was no election.

Now 2011 election in the east was a "conspiracy of both the elites and the masses" built on tribalism. The masses were misinformed that GEJ was their own. Basically, everyone thumb-printed as much as he could to produce the massive votes. Buhari lacked the resources to monitor votes. So Buhari need finance if he can make headway in his ambition.

Also in the North, while the cities were "disgracing" PDP with massive votes for Buhari (with possible child-voting); PDP as usual was buying all the votes from the villages and producing massive figures that made nonsense of Buhari's votes.

So what is my scenario for 2015 with APC?

If Tinubu and his "gang" can sincerely commit to the alliance, they can mobilize enough resource and "evil contacts" to checkmate PDP and their rigging machine. Buhari will mobilize almost the whole core northern votes less that of fanatical Christians, believe me. The few votes, Buhari will loose from the North are those that can be bought and those of the elites who are afraid of their past. Tinubu and his CAN, while I am afraid they may lose Lagos b/c of their misrule; can always galvanize Yoruba votes for any Presidential candidate of their choice.

But will Tinubu want to do this and get Buhari into power? I serious have doubts. I believe Tinubu is too corrupt and will be risking too much to allow Buhari have a chance to probe him and send him to jail. The Nigerian elites cannot trust Buhari. They are stinkingly corrupt and will never want their past investigated or their corrupt lines of income stopped.

Majority of the South-south “real and imaginary” votes will still go GEJ's way, come what may. Though, he will certainly lose some, owing to his obvious incompetence. Can APC get one-third of the votes from any of the South-south vote? It depends on their presidential candidate, and how rigging plays out. They can, if they come forth with a worthwhile Presidential candidate that the play the "settlement" game well.

Same happens to the East. The Igbos wants one of their own. As an Igbo I strongly share this sentiment, but also understand that our leaders sold out. I may also not be very comfortable with APC presenting a Northerner as a President and a Yoruba VP. This is enough to motivate me to put all I can in order to stop them, not minding whoever their Presidential candidate becomes. I have always suspected that "Tinubu" and his think-tank encouraged GEJ to do away with Zoning in order to create a chance for them to contest for the Presidency in a near future. Doing otherwise would have meant the other 5 zones taking their turns (a total of possible 40 years – 8X5), before it can get to the Yorubas. It is annoying to me as an Igbo for Tinubu to pull such a fast one on me.

If Igbos can be reassured and rigging by our governors checkmated, APC can get may be close to 40% of Igbo votes. To do this certainly means having a good number of Igbo elites in their midst. Without the elites, you cannot protect your votes even when you have them.

GEJ and PDP played religious politics to get North Central votes in the last election. How easily he can resort to this again depends and the satisfaction the middle belters feel from his present performance in office. I cannot judge on this but it can go either way. This is the real battle ground. Buhari has a chance while PDP has a chance.

Now what about APC without Buhari? If Buhari campaigns for them as a leader of the party, they can still retain a significant percentage of their core north votes. But they will lose the votes of the radical progressives’ southerners who are behind Buhari. This group only motivation is Buhari and not the party. Given a good candidate, they can get away with this, with Buhari’s support and commitment.

Now APC without Buhari’s support is dead on arrival. I suspect Tinubu is working towards getting Buhari’s support while not picking him as the Presidential candidate. Be certain that Tinubu will be the financial live-wire of the Party. It is only the CAN states and Rochas that can finance the party. Buhari cannot. Tinubu is one of the smartest and crookest Nigerian that lives today. I see him the way I see IBB. They are both Maradonas and stinkingly corrupt. How he chose to play this game is what I don’t know. Mind you he can pull a fast one on GEJ. Serious and high ranking members of GEJ’s government must certainly be on his pay book.

On the D-day, all of them can pull a fast one on a “mumu” GEJ. If Atiku ever joins APC “in heart and soul” (though I doubt this, given the earlier betrayal he suffered from Tinubu and lack of trust), GEJ will be goner b/c both “Tinubu and Atiku” can do deals. They can commander even OKwonjo-Iwela to betray GEJ. They have the resources and the patronage to “conjure” most Nigeria elites together in a fight against GEJ.

Remember also that there is another criminal waiting and pulling strings, if his health allows him. He is IBB. He will certainly be a factor depending on how he perceives where his bread is buttered.

One thing that may however unite the North behind Buhari is Boko Haram and the damage it is doing to the North. I believe Northern leaders are gutted about Boko haram and suspect GEJ is using it to destroy the North. They may see the election as a last resort to salvage the North and may be able to concede enough grounds to other elites from other parts of the country, in order to remove GEJ.

How Obasanjo decide to join will certainly help in shaping things. But as a core coward (who hates taking risk based on principle, but likes using power to its brutal end), OBJ may be intimidated to join a moving train, if one emerges. In his true character, even when he hates a moving train, he will pretend to join until he can pull a trick on them. Being out of Aso Rock, he knows how not to fight a battle he can lose.

So a lot is possible.

In real politics, a second can make a difference. What is important is that the players understands the factors at play and try to maximize it.

The truth is that APGA is not a political party but a group of people that positioned themselves to benefit from Ojukwu's name. Now that Ojukwu is gone, let see how far APGA can go.

Peter Obi we know is fighting for his personal ambition and interest while Rochas is same.

We Nigerians must watch these politicians to know what they are up to
