KellyKk: Good . My own problem is I paid 8700 CAD but I did not disclose it in my SOP that it was paid by my friend in Germany. Is this really something to worry about ? I don’t really think that should be a problem, my sister paid mine from Canada and attached the receipt though |

Thanks to everyone congratulating me! May yours come soon!
God has done it ooooooo
PPR IS HERE TEAM!
Omo i typed my testimony since 9th of September with faith ooo cos i know i was next to be congratulated!
Applied may 14th (normal route, didn’t get NSE request) Biometrics May 20th Upfront medical updated to pass May 20th Eligibility started September 8th Bvl dropped September 9th Another wait with sadness started PPR dropped just now September 15th
I want to thank you all for the support and most especially almighty God for his grace!
My application was so simple that when i joined on trend 19 i became so worried cos my sister submitted just very few documents.
Age 22 as of when i applied in May but 23 when they approved 1.My bsc statement of result 2.My sponsor’s statement of account and letter of introduction ($51,000) 3.My sponsor’s tax, and where they work and their passport numbers (they stay in Canada) I don’t have any personal relationship with my sponsor (we just claimed first cousin) 4.My sister’s house rent showing she already has an en-suite bedroom in her house in Canada for me. 5.My parents and siblings names and home addresses ( I guess that’s supposed to serve as home ties) 7.my school fees receipt
I was so scared! Last time i had a dream that i was in Canada and a stranger was giving me a gift for my mum! I asked God to give me PPR today as my Mum’s birthday gift! (Today is her birthday)
I want to thank you all for the support y’all dish out here, honestly i come here every hour for support cos i was almost losing it! My application is the least packaged I’ve seen in a while but GRACE found me!
To everyone still waiting! Your PPR is already on its way to you! Amen!!! Your application doesn’t have to be perfect. God bless |

Stephblues: Landing gist!!! Canada sweet nor be small.
I got to to the airport at about 4:45pm on the 10th of September. I tipped the security at the entrance to allow my husband and cousin in, the guy was just forming activity. When I got in, I was directed to NDLEA to check for drugs, that one too asked for tip. After there, the agricultural people sighted me and asked me to head to their counter because I had one bag of food. What I noticed is that if I wasn’t carrying a Ghana must go back, he wouldn’t have approached me. I paid 2k for the bag.
Then I moved on to the check in queue, mehn see crowd. British airways was fully booked. People traveling to the Uk for school as well were there on that day, I wished I had taken another airline. I stood for 4hrs before it got to my turn. Weighed my bags, everything was under the required weight though I had an extra bag which I paid $210 for. Note; please arrive early on the day of travel, else you stand a chance of missing your flight.
I was asked to show my Covid test, ArriveCAN, enrolment letter, passenger locator form(for BA passengers). Then I waited to get approval from Canada before I was allowed to fly. Approval came about 20mins later. I parted ways with my family, it was so hard leaving them behind especially the girls. Premium tears flowed but this is for the greater good.
Got to immigration and I was asked to go on the fast track because I gave the guy 1k. Went on to board my flight and we took off like 30 mins later. I slept most of the time as it was a night flight. Food wasn’t good at all, biko which one is over cooked garden egg and cheese? Landed in Heathrow, waited for another 8hrs before leaving for Toronto. This time, the food was better, it was rice and chicken something something(forgot the name, hunger dey catch me).
We landed after 7hrs 55mins. We weren’t allowed to get down because the crowd at the airport was much. Long story short, because of the queue, they took all our passports from us and printed our permits without questions.
No tests, nothing for me. Fully vaccinated. Just finished my second class for today. May the land of Canada favour me.
I wish everyone awaiting PPR all the best, you shall all experience this joy. You can reach out to me if you have any questions.
P.S I am chilling in my apartment, so much food from friends and family. Chai, this life sweet. This your landing gist sweet me ehhh! I kept grinning from ear to ear! May the land of Canada Favour you! I’ll be joining you next month by God’s grace, AMEN! |

SweetJJ: Hello guys, I am a May 14th applicant still expecting My PPR. In June and July I ordered for my GCMS note. My eligibility review started on June 1 or 2 (can't remember exactly) Two that came in July Eligibility was Review Required. Yesterday the last one came in as Recommend Interview. Meanwhile, preassessment note is blank. And all three notes came in without any seemingly reasonable information. Bikonu, is this a good sign? Any one had that experience? What should I expect?
Help a worried May 14th applicant! Recommend interview usually means you’ve been approved! Congratulations in advance, we will both testify on Monday! |

Faithyyyyy: For those who have waited three or 4 months especially April and May applicants you can do the following :
1. Send Nairobi office emails at least twice a week with the topic URGENT UPDATE ON STUDY PERMIT . then enquire about your application status reminding them your classes will be starting soon for those in September intake. For those deferring till January still go ahead and enquire about your application status.
2. When sending emails, do it early like 6am so it's amongst the first emails they get and do it Mondays and Thursdays so you keep reminding them. The worst you will get is an approval or a refusal so you know what to do next.
3. Always attach additional supporting documents i.e school fees payment receipts, enrollment forms or anything to help your case be processed faster.
4. Be very polite in your emails infact thank them for the wonderful job they are doing in ensuring students get their study permits on time .
Nairobi office does respond and if you keep at it, you will get attended to faster than waiting in the pool of thousands of Candidates. For every time we sent an email we got updates either on the account or via email that the application was under active review and we would be advised on the next steps soon. eligibility started after email was sent, medical request came within an hour of sending email, ppr came within one hour of sending the third e medical and email enquiry so I know it works
I look forward to hearing lots of positive news from those who begin this process on Monday through Thursday. Please can you drop the nairaobi email address, thanks |

Ivygive: LONG POST ALERT
PPR REQUEST First application Applied 2019 October and was denied Dec 2019 for purpose of visit and family ties. Reasons given in GCMS was; VAGUE SOP, had an MSC and applied for PGD. I used my kids and husband as family ties yet was denied. There was a rain of rejection that set. Covid came so I took a break 2020.
Second application April 2nd 2021 Medical upfront march 26th 2021 Biometrics 2019 Ordered 1st GCMS July eligibility blank Ordered 2nd GCMS August 4th hasn't arrived. Sent webforms to update bank statement because I ddnt give MBS and new passport In July. PPR 1st September Eligibility ddnt start till I saw ppr request ,background as well is still under review.
Documents submitted IMM forms Tuition receipt for a semester is MBA 2yrs SOP 6pages LOE 4pages CAC documents for hubby Personal bank statements first bank no MBS Certificates Admission letter IELTS Academic and General Self-sponsored
What I did differently! I want to encourage people with visa denied, this post is for you it will surely come no matter the amount of trials as long as you don't give up.I felt very one from 2019 to date, never missed a post. You guys are a faceless family. I rugged this Canadian dream with 2PNP's not successful, awaiting another, expired IELTS twice.
I explained in details purpose for MBA and future prospects back home. I expressed sadness for the reason of family ties even though it could mean more(Assets) but I used my kids and hubby. I added lovely christmas family pictures, me on my farm feeding animals. Pictures and receipt of machines in the farm. I opted for self sponsored so I had to do extra with just pictures as proof. Every application is unique do what works for you. Nigerians are not trusted easily so I hard no choice, heard the way other countries apply honestly we do extra to proof a point. They don't stress yet get approved in weeks. I choose self sponsored so they will concentrate on only my account. Hubby transferred 1st semester tuition and I made an excel breakdown of how I get payed, not a salary earner so my monthly pay is not regular and I explained. Paid myself so the account keeps running.
Started online and sent enrollment letter and vaccination card, bank statements updated. New passport with validity of 1+ year not ready to queue in Ottawa, abeg thing are still easier here. If webform and mail was a person, I will be sanctioned.
They school asked me not to register for second semester because they cant refund 2terms just 6hours to PPR. I made up my mind to continue.
Chocs, Justmellow ,Frankrobben1,@lekiboboe all contributed to my submission but you all contributed most to the knowledge . I am glad I started in the month so there was no way I wont testify here. Excuse my typos I don't have English certificate . Congratulations ! I tap into your testimony as I’ll testify soon |
