10 year olds do not have the capacity to make informed decisions, worth more understand what consent means when it comes to sex/ intimacy. The parents, school and entire community/ society, including the hotel where they lodged failed those children. The teacher, friends and other kids. Be firm in what you believe in as a parent, avoid trying to please anyone through your parenting style.

Parents are more interested in being friends with their kids than being parents. Friendship with any child is earned through experience and trust...after 18 years of age.
