I believe Wolves have agreement with Mendes on each player that when they reach certain price, they will be sold and Mendes will get his cut eg Diogo Jota, but truth be told for most players, Wolves pay big money for Mendes players. All his people are going for around £20m even when the market dictates they should be priced lower. Take Pedro Neto for example who Wolves bought for £16m after 2 years without breaking into Lazio team. If Lazio bought him for £10m and he could not breakthrough at Lazio for 2 years, shouldn't his price reduce? Which other club will pay £16m for him except Wolves?

I saw somewhere that Mendes has a stake in the Chinese owner company.
