The mediatek processor is a high quality brand not just used by tecno but even by other major phone manufacturers - infinix, Jiayu, huawei, gionee etc and they don't necessarily come cheap. Besides, this is an 8-core (octa-core) processor with speed clocked at 2.0GHz, how many high-end phones can even beat this for now? It's display resolution is 1080p & amoled (most phones are of 720p & IPS). With 2GB RAM & 16GB storage, I mean what more can u ask for? These are the same specs in samsung galaxy s4 & 5 sold for over a 100k. Pls, let's be more realistic. In my opinion, it is a great phone! The greatest tecno has made so far & I think it's going to fly and even most of the people on this forum will buy - cos they are the Tecno mobile warriors!!

Correction Bro, a quad core Qualcomm chipset is way better than an Octacore MTK chipset, miles apart. That's why Mediatek chipsets comes cheaper and are used in cloned android devices. Even Huawei and Gionee use Qualcomm chipsets for some of their high end phones. 2GB of RAM is nothing special anymore, when we now have more efficient Qualcomm chipsets with 3GB of RAM. BTW, your 1080p display would soon become a thing of the past, with the QHD display gaining more popularity after the LG G3

BTW, the Tecno brand is one of the least popular brands in the Chinese market. You can't even get to buy Tecno on popular online shops like alibaba xpress? It has extremely low to no popularity in the Chinese market. Wanna prove this? Google any Tecno phone model. If it's any other phone, one of the first few results to appear would be a review from popular website, gsmarena.com. Even Gionee, Xaomii, Oppo brands are on gsmarena. Tecno? Virtually nonexistent. The phone is made to be sold in the African market where they had little competition for low end phones, at least initially.
Till date, Tecno is the only Chinese product that has yet to give me a Qualcomm chipset. Always the cheaper alternative, Mediatek chipsets. Even Gionee E7, and other chinko phones have been doing Qualcomm chipsets, NFC, etc.
Can you believe that their highest selling phone, the A+ didn't even come with a digital compass? It's is obviously very cheap to build in the gyroscope and the likes into the phone. I was grossly disappointed and I sold the phone after 4 months of use.
For those who want high end quality and specs, that is chinko, that rivals the big brands and is still reasonably affordable, Google up "Oneplus One" and "Oppo 7"

For a start, processors change. Clock speed gets upgraded, RAM changes. Upgrade on protection with higher grades of gorilla glass. User interface changes, water resistance features.

Carrying 274 passengers and 16 crew members, the Airbus A-300 (IR655) had just taken off from the southern Iranian coastal city of Bandar Abbas and was climbing inside an internationally recognized route to Dubai when it was targeted by two Standard missiles fired from USS Vincennes on July 3, 1988.

Following the incident, US officials claimed their warship mistook the jetliner for an attacking Iranian F-14 fighter plane. The allegation was made as highly sophisticated radar systems and electronic battle gear had been mounted on the warship.

The Iranian airliner was equipped with an identification transponder to give off a specific response signal when interrogated by a radar signal from a potential adversary.

Due to delay in takeoff, the Vincennes started issuing warnings on the Military Air Distress frequency, having mistaken the Iranian civilian airplane for a military aircraft.

Vincennes’ attempts to contact Flight 655 failed because they had been sent on wrong frequencies.

Although no data recorder reported any identification, friend or foe (IFF) signal, the staff aboard the Vincennes continued misreporting the signal.

The decision to shoot down the Iranian plane was reportedly taken deliberately on the basis of personal advice passed from junior officers, regardless of a stream of contrary evidence from the electronics aboard.

The US government has so far refused to admit to its crime in the tragic incident and instead keeps falsely blaming Iran for the incident.

Washington later paid some 95 million dollars in compensation for the Iranian victims and the aircraft.

The money, however, failed to placate the anti-US sentiments in Iran, where people expected the USS Vincennes’ captain, William Rogers, to be held responsible for his criminal act.

Instead, Rogers was awarded the prestigious medal of Legion of Merit for his so-called outstanding service.

The post said the hospital already released a press statement stating the obvious, that Mubarak has psychiatric issues, and the only reason they refrain from releasing his diagnosis is for patient confidentiality cause of the stigma associated with psychiatric illnesses. It's okay. Sorry about your loss. But also try to see that the government is well aware of the impending strike with warnings several weeks before, but yet did not act.
Many of the points for the strike action is directed towards patient care. LUTH went on strike a few weeks ago and one of the main agitation of the resident doctors going on strike was cause of the exuberant prices that the hospital charges the patient for care. The only authorities listened and cut the prices by more than 50%. Our government is a cynical one, blame them

You can't carry them along cause they went ahead to form their own association, so they can present their case and fight for their rights. Btw, the hazard allowance for most medical doctors is just #5000. That can't even run tests not to talk of treatment. Compare that to poor nutrition cause of little time to eat (yes, that does happen), antecedent risk of needlestick injury with concurrent infection with dreaded HIV and hepatitis viruses (yes, many doctors have passes from this fatal diseases also), their families miss their presence at home in order to render services to the population. It goes beyond the money my dear, I can assure you of that

The reason they asked for special plate numbers was as to enable them render emergency services anywhere anytime with minimal hitches, and that was even a suggestion, which was not part of the demands listed above. Get educated before jumping to conclusions
