cecechi: Did you mean to say a different Visa officer may look at their own application? even when it is a family application and i submitted together? Is that possible? I thought its supposed to be treated as a family application. The feedback that people on this forum based on their GCSM notes always indicate so, I stand to be corrected though. goingforward |

Hello Nairalanders, Isn't it possible to upload other docs in like '' medical or marriage certificate section'' There is plenty of space there. smiley i am thinking of uploading one SOA to the medical form area and stating it in Proof of fund doc that its due to space constraint I did that. so that they can look it up from there.

smiley tongue Over shrinking the docs makes it unreadable. so isn't this a better option. Has anyone done this and scaled through? HAS ANYONE BEEN IN MY SHOES?? goingforward. |

cecechi: Nairalancders, I have downloaded a recent study form now, filled and validated and tried to upload. I just noticed something, when I merge the two Study application PDF forms together and try to upload I still get the error message, but when i try to upload only the first form (without the additional PDF with extra work history) the upload goes through successfully. Are you sure that online applicants are required to fill 10years work experience? ? I may have to submit without the extra work history. (besides it even captioned in my CV). Thoughts? goingforward. 1 Like |

chrisraph: @reichwolf: If you are applying online, There is actually a segment for upload of Int'l passport upload, so take this off your SOP and add it to that segment. All the other scanned docs including your certificate can come in underneath under supporting docs segment, underneath your SOP, which should be the first doc to start this segment. You can list the docs as a bulleted list and say attached below to this as supporting docs are ...xyz. Then close your SOP with your signature. Paste the other scanned docs underneath that after your signature. My thoughts. goingforward. |

babzy90: Hi @babzy90, If you need 5pages to capture all relevant information then go ahead. It's your SOP and you know what you put into it. Asking how many pages when no one has viewed it, the answers you will be getting would not be objective. ( So that you do not take out just the right relevant information that would make your application scale through). Follow your heart, play the devils advocate on your SOP, if you were reading someone's SOP of 5 pages what would bore you and what wouldn't? My own SOP is 7pages. (I have worked since 2005), plus I am going with my family, in addition, I listed all docs ( most esp. supporting docs) attached according to each family members profile to make life easy for the VO. I have read mine time and time again just to be sure it would make sense. Just to add: Three out of my 7 pages are a list of all docs. Plus i utilized paragraphing very well for easy reading. goingforward. 3 Likes |

post=68116149: LOL @Yuyukoko, Your post is very funny. I have put my application together and at the verge of submitting but , I am very nervous most especially seeing the rate of refusals here and there so i can feel your pain. Been also praying about my application even before submission . I have learned that the race is not to the swift nor the battle to the strong, only to who God show's mercy. Put together your docs but most importantly back it up with plenty prayers. I am gathering momentum to submit this week. It will end in praise. goingforward. 2 Likes |

chkb: Hi @chkb, I don't agree with you. what if it's a business account and a business from a client comes in and you provide details of the transaction i.e receipts and invoices? what if it's a personal or salary account and you just received a bonus or salary from your company before printing your statement. My thoughts are that if it's a transactional account, and you can show the source of funds then it would not be a problem. I stand to be corrected, but these are my thoughts. goingforward. 1 Like 1 Share |

Asapant: Hi @Asapant, Thanks for your speedy response. It's not actually Dalhousie university. It's York University. Why I am concerned is because I have read on this forum where several people stated that not making any payment of Tuition is not good for ones application. My question is, if I leave the funds in my account to show the tuition money is available wouldn't it suffice.? Plus is there anyone who has gotten study permit approved without paying Tuition.? goingfoward. 2 Likes |

Hello Nairalanders, My school's tuition confirmation deposit is 10kCAD. My school is advising to get my study permit first then make payment afterward as the 10kcad payment is nonrefundable. I am stuck in between the step to take. To pay or not to pay before study permit application submission. Is there anyone who did not pay any tuition and got study permit approved?
