even Mikel criticism of Jackson is normal in football…thats not defamation, it’s purely football critiquing….

what Finidi,Siasia,Oliseh etc is doing is pure defamation or rubbishing once long standing patriotism on the media front….they should come and tell us that a player is not playing well or not good enough, we will argue that one, but them coming with stoopid topics like

-“Osimhen is not patriotic, Osimhen faked injury to avoid super eagles match” bla bla

-“Enyeama is unpatriotic for going to bury his mom and not reporting to camp” bla bla bla

-“Mikel try to bribe me with $50k” bla bla bla,
like this are very unprofessional from them, what sort of nonsense is that
na that enyeama own pain me pass, Africa's best keeper ever according to stats, Oliseh yeye am like that, what Oliseh himself can never take as a player, rubbish!

Well ,I won’t exonerate others from what Charles accuse those 4 ex players(finidi, amunike, siasia and oliseh) of talking down on dis present super eagles players

Aside eguavoen,if u notice ,those 4 have one thing in common,Dey have coached d national team in various capacities, hence Dey re closer to the players and dey get to c some certain things we d fans are not privilege to know.

I think what stand out for eguavoen is his level of maturity and man management.Mikel also confirmed this in one of his interviews dt eguavoen was the best manager he ever worked with in d super eagles because he treats dem with respect and dignity.he went as far as comparing eguavoen style of management with that of carlo ancelotti in terms of man management.

So u can’t tell if other players mentioned too might act like d aforementioned 4 ex coaches if Dey have the opportunity to coach the senior national team or any oda under age team..we can’t also rule
Out d frustration to work with nff. It’s not easy working with such a disorganised body..the frustration and disrespect one will receive might influence deir attitude towards dis players
Ikpeba has not coached too but he’s one of those who talked down on this generation of players. If Eguavoen stands out then it speaks to his kind of person and character. I remember his bust up with Aiyegbeni I just wonder if na siasia or oliseh dem for tear Aiyegbeni big slap 👋

All said and done I also feel Mikel need to calm down on his bashing the nff especially as it relates to his past experience with the national team. I don’t feel too comfortable with his bashing the nff in front of other ex internationals from Europe. Though that was not enough for all siasia said especially as I remember Mikel never said anything negative of siasia. Nff is an organisation but attacking personalities unnecessarily is just too petty and immature

One thing that I have noticed with Nigerians is that when they like you, they will become biased. Mikel obi has been attacking everyone from our federation, NFF and even his family members on his podcast and no one has counseled him. Mind you, people treat you how you treat yourself and if you keep attacking your own publicly, don’t become surprised when foreigners attack you. Now, it seems like Siasia is prepared for a GBAS GBOS and you’re scolding siasia. This is how starboy referred to himself as a “coconut head” on twitter and became irate when Napoli referred to him as a “Coconut head”. In this life, how you make your bed is how you will lay on it
Your own is to always take sides with those that are defaming people whether they are right or wrong. That’s how you took sides against Lookman when his coach racially abused him. Kotinu!

I remember how some of us here even bashed Mikel for being too critical on Nico Jackson after his red card during the ongoing club world cup but lai lai na wetin you wan see you must see

Our guys dem should get more busy than all these busybody all the place, not everyone will become coaches, I like Ifeanyi Udeze at brila sports no matter what you think he’s more occupied than to be saying rubbish all over the place. With their huge historical career profile there are so much diverse opportunities out there our ex players should take advantage of instead of all these chochocho all over the place.

Look at Mikel he’s running down gracing huge international sports studios as an analyst for big games.

Add Finidi join, that one almost pursue Osimhen comot for super eagles
Honestly Finidi disappointed me as he was the least person I would have imagined, from his days as an eagles player he had that reputation of a quiet guy, never heard any mention of indiscipline from him as a player. I don’t understand what happened. They all forget that the coaches in their own days as players managed all their excesses and weaknesses for all the accomplishments they had.

You can attend the interview for just experience sake. Some times if you do well in the interview they can place you on reserve for 12 months and perhaps you may now be eligible then for the 3 year rule considering when you entered the UK.

Those close to Samson Siasia should tell him this campaign of calumny on Mikel Obi is needless and quite frankly beneath him. First, in clarifying whether or not Mikel payed for their flight to Rio, he accused Mikel of being broke,.hence his need to peddle the story, even though in the same breathe he acknowledged Mikel paid for things like their hotel accomodation etc.

Now, the accusation is Mikel intentionally skipping the Olympic qualifiers and then trying to bribe his way into the team through his agent in 2008. It's obvious they aren't in good terms with each other but this is unnecessary.
Honestly Siasia no Dey try and to think many here still advocate for his return to the eagles makes it a bigger shame. If baba is frustrated which everyone at one time in life will be why going this low? especially for things that allegedly happened years ago. Yes Mikel may have been arrogant to you in the past but it is meaningless bringing hurts of the past to score cheap points against perceived opponents.

These 94 set of eagles I think are just bunch of arrogant people who think players after them can never match up to them. These bad belle is just too much if it’s not Oliseh today it’s siasia tomorrow or ikpeba another day abeg make dem go siddon one place. Nonsense and ingredients!

The sweetest thing about this latest Muck v Rump catfighting is how Rump has now joined in emphasizing that Musk's "home" is actually in South Africa.

Before it was just fringe far right figures that talked about how Musk is actually an immigrant himself (and in some cases said he should be deported) but now Trump has joined in too.

There's a lesson here for those who care to take note.

Thank you. The challenge with hostels is that most don't allow cooking or don't have fridge.
You may have to pick a battle, bro. There will be no perfect option anywhere, and if I may ask, why don't you relocate your entire family close to London? Some towns or cities may be just an hour to London (by train or car), where you can find cheaper accommodation or reasonable ones and if it's depending on your visa status, and whether your spouse is the main applicant and you're the dependent then your best bet is to begin to look for another role close to where your family is right now, you may just continue to experience much stress and burn out with your current shuttle. My view! Cheers.
PoliticsRe: Why Nigeria Can Never Have 24/7 Electricity Even With The Best Government by Goke7: 6:29am On Jun 30, 2025
Firstly, our population is nowhere near 200 million; the day we obtain a more accurate count of our numbers in Nigeria will mark the beginning of our redemption.

The elections in 2023, with just less than 30 million participating in the elections, call into question whether our numbers may be overblown. Even the daily consumption of fuel, which was put at over 80 million litres per day in the days of subsidy, has been discovered to be false.

For me, we may not be over a 100 million people, let's confirm our population figures if we are truly sincere or just want to continue deceiving ourselves.

It seems Starmer would once again backtrack on many aspects of the benefits review.

So far 4 areas the government has looked to raise funds

1. Ammendment to inheritance tax for farmers - held

2. Winter fuel issue- failed

3. Immigration review- (longer and more expensive) - might likely scale thru as we dont have a strong enough lobby/voting block.

4. Benefit review- unlikely to pass.

With Reeves insistent on not borrowing more that 100% of gdp and state benefit costs (incl pensions) rising yearly, I wonder where all the money for investments would come from.

A good quote I came across recently- still trying to balance a tripod on 2 legs: 'The UK wants American levels of taxation, with Nordic public services and Japanese demographical hegemony.'
😂 kasongo yeye things. It’s good to dream sha even some people believe a new Nigeria is possible. Who are me, lol
