😂😂😂

How am I misinforming others when I simply shared a direct tweet from the US embassy? Is it my information? Lol

The below link explains that the new visa policy targets non-immigrant visas(so your example about your friends spouse visa is not valid here) and brings this category into alignment with Nigeria's existing visa policy:

Nigeria also offers single-entry visas valid for three months only for those planning to visit the country from the US....

An aide to former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari said he believed the US was not reciprocating but showing its displeasure with Nigeria.

Bashir Ahmad posted on X that President Bola Tinubu‘s recent visit to Brazil for the Brics gathering was behind the move.

Immigration lawyer Godwin Oke thinks differently and told the BBC: "This is a classic case of visa reciprocity under international diplomatic practice. Countries often align their visa terms to reflect mutual treatment.

"The US had been issuing Nigerians five-year multiple-entry visas, while Nigeria only offered Americans short-term, single-entry visas. From a policy standpoint, it was only a matter of time before the imbalance was addressed."

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cx23ywg9w82o

I think Oke's reasoning makes more sense.
Even the tweet you posted earlier never said so ma; it only said the US Department of State updated its reciprocal non-immigrant and non-official visas to Nigerian citizens, it never quoted that American citizens were only given 3 months single entry to Nigeria, here is the quote on the website of the US consulate in Nigeria https://ng.usembassy.gov/revised-visa-reciprocity-policy-for-nigeria/ but as usual you will never admit to your errors and many Nigerians like you has also been misinformed including the Oke that you're quoting, it's clearly stated on the Nigerian immigration website which I posted earlier on the different categories of visas given but if choose not to believe then you're on your own.

Osimhen is my favorite super eagles player in this generation but I think his Lagos born aggression and temperament is the reasons why clubs in the top 5 European leagues don’t want to sign him. Well as long as they do well for Nigeria that’s all that Matters to me
Another banger 😂 from abusing Finidi to omo eko temperament, what’s next may be his bini village people things! Keep it coming guys

Very baffling how complicated and restrictive Nigeria's visa process is. Don't they need/want immigrants and all the immense value they bring?

Hopefully Jedisco and Goke will admonish them to open up their borders and create more liberal immigration policies..
You’re feeding on misinformation by Trump and his maga crew. There is a five year multiple visa category for Americans which was the reason Biden approve the reciprocal 5 year American visa for Nigerians and I have a friend whose American spouse was granted just that. If some Americans chose the single entry option that’s their cup of tea and has nothing to do with the current bigotry decisions by the Trump administration who’s only hiding behind the single entry option to punish Nigeria for attending the BRICS summit. Next time get your facts right before misinforming others.

You see how daft you're? Prior employing a staff or after employment during probationary organisation relate to immediate past employer to get some vital information as regard behaviour and other records that may impinge on the job or relate to his attitude.

Before I was employed in my current organisation they called my previous GM and he put forth a good word for me regarding my job ethics and integrity...he told me after he did that.

So organisations do this and also follow up with coaches recommendation
You're the one who is so daft to conclude that Osihmen has bad behaviour that will make him unattractive to clubs, that's how super daft you are

You think this clubs just sign players..
They don't do background checks and call fellow coaches that have managed the players before.

You don't know Italians... they barely forgive and you think if ADL wanna punish oshimen he won't block the his potential suitors from the back.

This guys are Europeans they communicate and relate off the media
You're ignorant, background checks are for criminal records purposes, except you're implying that VO was an ex-criminal! Even one of your gang members has alluded that VO is not even like Balottelli, yet he played for top clubs in Europe! Who the hell is Finidi to influence the decisions in Europe? phew

I understand you very well.
But where is the place of patriotism?
We need to have a country before we can have a leader.
What is a leader without a country?
Those in the opposition don't think so, especially when they become too desperate; it has to be bad for their candidate to stand a better chance.

This is what politics in the 21st century has become

They will shout for joy if the heart that Nigeria is the worst economy in Africa. But they will be unhappy when they hear Nigeria is the Biggest Economy in Africa. What kind of unpatriotic mentality is that. Even if you want your preferred candidate to win, won't it better better for a good economy to be handed over to your candidate to start with? Who do Dem like Dis?
No Be Juju Be Dat?
It’s all politics, if you’re in the opposition a good reputation of the economy is never in your favour to win elections and its like that globally

Just thinking out loud 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The anti immigration sentiments in Europe like I mentioned on this thread a while ago may just be kicking in, the thought of spending so much on a player like Osihmen will actually raise eyebrows locally, just unfortunate to see Osihmen bloom in an hostile era like this.

The Sia Sia I know can never at that time and even now say no to a £50k bribe whatever shape it takes.

And what Mikel Obi said I know to to be totally true. I know on several occasions when players would pay the hotel bills for the whole team when in camp for friendly games in London.

The NFF officials were always giving a cock and bull story that money has not arrived. That to cover public embarrassment can some players pay that would fall on the senior players like Mikel, Yobo & Utaka .

They promised to reimburse but everybody knew that was never going to happen.

Do you remember when the NFF would always pay players in cash not by bank 🏦 transfer. Why do you think 🤔 they did that ❓

There is so much more dirty lining that I don't even want to talk about 😞
For the first time I can’t even fault anything you said here. This is 💯 true.

Even in South Africa stories are plenty where ex players like Idah Peter side will say how keshi will always contact him as a South Africa based resident to organise food for the players during the Afcon 2013 competition that we won. This is why it’s more embarrassing for siasia to be spewing nonsense

PoliticsRe: Civil War Looms: Why Nigeria Risk Collapse If Igbos Are Denied 2027 Presidency by Goke7: 12:39pm On Jul 07, 2025
Anyone still bitter over any looming or past election loss should push for restructuring, that way you get to govern yourself and not bother about zoning or rotational presidency. And if its secession makes it even better, the National Assembly is there. All what we cry about is possible. Someone pushed for local govt autonomy and got it, even tax reform got it, regional development commissions in the bag and all sorts. Democracy thrives with negotiations and concessions and not threats.

Music to Tinubu's ears....another lamentation after 2027.

If Tinubu win 2027 election Obi can forget presidency until 2039.

The best thing for Obi is to align with Atiku and hope that if Atiku wins he can become president after him.

In 2023 the cabal in Buharis government was against Tinubu, PDP was against Tinubu, LP was against Tinubu yet he won. This time he's the incumbent. The opposition must unite to defeat him. Tinubu is a politician and not Jonathan that was an accidental president
I think that's his plan; he never said he was contesting as President in 2027. He was tactful and diplomatic in that particular answer to the question.
PoliticsRe: Civil War Looms: Why Nigeria Risk Collapse If Igbos Are Denied 2027 Presidency by Goke7: 3:01pm On Jul 06, 2025
Even Trump who is a bully still had to contest an election to win presidency. Over 100 political parties exist in Nigeria which are enough platforms for anyone or group to aspire to become president and I don’t think there are any barriers for such aspiration and pursuit.

He's pissed off alot of groups in his efforts to chase votes that may not vote for him.

The winter fuel payments characterised what governments have to deal with. Pensioners are not ready to give up a penny. Imagine if the triple lock was touched.

Once he reversed on winter fuel, groups against wellfare reform became emboldened and for the right reason.

In all, it's only his immigration reform that may stick and migrants dont have folks fighting for them. And as with many rapidly put up plans, there'd like be unforseen and unpalatable consequences that'd become obvious with time
That's political suicide na! The reason his party members are questioning his stance on Labour values and that we now see a spin-off of another party from the Labour party. At the end, they are dividing their votes for the opposition to win easily, like Labour benefited from the division of votes from the Tories.

There is a reason APC is terribly worried about Peter Obi and will whip up online and offline attacks on his person ..... they have the actual result of the 2023 election and Peter Obi shocked them with a high margin win.

They can't afford to have him in a coalition that will attempt to fight back their rigging. Tinubu has first hand knowledge of the popularity Peter Obi wield and justifiably so.

No Nigerian will defeat Peter Obi if a free and fair presidential election is conducted today. Both APC and the opposition knows this.
If this is true, then Obi doesn't need a coalition, and that's what Datti was saying in his interview at Arise

It’s a global phenomenon.
Nobody wan gree for anybody. Everybody dey stand their ground. At the end of the day, all man go turn independent.

UK:
Conservative/Reform—Rupert Lowe, Ben Habib and their breakout movements.
Labour—new Jeremy Corbyn party. Zultana, Diane Abbott and all the rebels

US of A:
Republican Party/MAGA—Elon Musk, Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens and co.
Democratic Party—New Democratic Socialists: Bernie, AOC, Mamdani, and others.

Nigeria:
Opposition—PDP, LP, ADC, Sowore, and over 120 new parties applying to register for 2027.

This is the death of the party system IMO. The internet has made it easier to organise, and new movements are rising now more than ever before. Besides, people are realising that you’re actually voting for the person, not the platform.

For example, Donald Trump is not your traditional Republican. Same goes for Keir Starmer—Diane Abbott n co have questioned whether he even holds “Labour values.”

People are more invested in personalities now. Just my 2 cents.
I totally agree with you, the current labour govt ain’t Labour in any way 😂, it’s looking like Reform lite

These individuals should have stayed in the Labour Party to build. Still, they are all in a hurry, and I am beginning to wonder what their true intention is, because forming parties up and down is never a strategy to unseat any ruling party. We should be seeing a merger of parties, not a new registration of parties. Anyone thinking this is a strategy should think again, there could be money laundering schemes that are not known by many, including those supporting these parties
