COOL10: A Supersports anchor said something quite important.
He said that Cape Verde are yet to play a match during night time, meanwhile, the South Africans have already played quite a number of their matches at night and are already used to the high humidity that usually accompanies night time in Cote D'Voire.
He believes they're going to have an edge over Cape Verde because of this. they are just dreaming, they have the physicality of the Cape Verde players to deal with, Do they think it's North Africans they are playing? though won't mind if they win as they will have the usual psychological block they normally have if they meet us in the semi-finals |

charlesemeka85: As first reported by SCORENigeria, a major pay row is boiling in the Super Eagles camp at the 2023 AFCON after outstanding bonuses and allowances of the team have yet to be paid despite a Government approval to clear these monies.
It can now be reported that the cash crisis in the Super Eagles has taken a new dimension after several senior players fell out with captain Ahmed Musa for “not fighting” for the team.
SCORENigeria learnt that the senior players accused Ahmed Musa of taking sides with the NFF leadership as it concerns payments for them.
One of the senior players who recently captained the team in the absence of Ahmed Musa had a personal confrontation with the captain on this vexed issue.
It was alleged that Ahmed Musa has failed to carry the rest of the team on discussions concerning their welfare.
“There is a serious issue of trust between Ahmed Musa and the other players when it comes to pursuing their entilements,” one of the players told SCORENigeria
“They believe he has not represented their interests.”
Some of the players have already warned they will go “above and beyond” their captain and take the matter to a higher level soon.
“How do you expect Ahmed Musa to take on the NFF to get the entitlements of the team when they did him a very big favour by getting him on the AFCON squad?” another source rhetorically asked SCORENigeria in as much as the nff ought to do the needful, the players should also note that it's unwise to allow such a crisis before an important game unless they no longer believe they can go all the way. If they are in the final already and this happens, na me go be their first supporter |

comodo: I have checked iwobi's and compared it with Mane's. It was a complete favouritism at play. Check the kickabouts Cameroonian's gave SE and how many yellows they collected. Even the guy that flew into our GK suppose carry red. But all we're waved away. there is no competition where you will not have favoritism, apart from yesterday, check the matches Egypt was involved in too. Competitions at times can be rigged stylishly to favour the big teams for marketing reasons, this is why I am a bit concerned if Ivory Coast gets to the semis, we may see more favuoritism for the host nation now that both Senegal and Egypt are out. You can see why Louis van Gaal was screaming about favoritism for Argentina during and after the World Cup. |

safarigirl: Man obviously has players he's partial towards and wants to platform, but there are better ways to go about it than propping Uzoho.
Apparently, he's trying to keep a door open for Okoye's return, but Nwabali doing well will not stop Okoye's return. We should be looking for how to throw Uzoho away patapata, then maybe have Nwabali as #1 and Okoye as his second. We once had Enyeama and Ejide as our first and second choice goalies, we can handle two good keepers and some may say that is best for the team.
We should not be trying to put powder on a third choice keeper in some obscure Cypriot league. Uzoho has been horrendous over the last years. It's time for an unceremonious retirement. and that has been the bane of our national team where these sports analysts will be promoting players who are not better than what the coach knows, imagine keshi did not insist on players like mba, oboabona, emenike and co. I remembered how they crucified keshi on top lke uche matter |

safarigirl: See guy....
Oma Akatugba was on Twitter trying to sell some BS that Nwabali is not better than Uzoho, by the time they brought out clips of Uzoho gaffes, omo, abeg we cannot have that calamity in goal against Angola. Mbalalu abi wetin, go use am do nonsense.
One guy said that Uzoho has been to 3 different AFCONS and he has never been first choice at any of them. In 2019, Akpeyi had the #1 shirt over him, in 2021, Okoye had the shirt over him, and now, Nwabali is the preferred number one.
How have you done back up to 3 different goalies in 6 years if you're actually decent? you think say that oma guy na analyst? never knew he still existed till I just saw his name now. From his days of bashing keshi as coach I don't listen or read from such folks |
