Make everybody calm down, the Tunisians were not on the field to sell pepper. This is not unusual in football, it was the same Chelle that played Gabon and Benin.

Even our girls did same to the Moroccans in the last WAFCON final.
Na so we calm during the wcq series. Make Una continue

Tanzania (28th in africa) get levels pass Botswana(42nd in africa) the gap is clear…from club football to national team…
Tanzania senior Botswana wella….however shaaa if we had led Tanzania 3-0 as we did against Tunisia, bro dem for don give up, they would have even opened up more space for super eagles to plaster them…don compare them to Tunisia….Tunisia, even when you leading them 5-0 will still keep coming out to fight you oo
Let’s keep up defending this crap like we did till we were edged out of the World Cup qualification. It’s easy to defeat this team just wait till the coach bring in his wingers and take midfielders out. Not a surprise anymore! Am even surprised he didn’t remove osihmen today cos he’s always full of surprises

Bros Botswana is an african minnow, Tunisia is an Afcon giant/winners….no dey compare them.
We have played 4-2 with Tunisia before at afcon…we were leading them like 2-0 and they tried doing a come back but we kept scoring them….we played 2-2 at world cup qualifiers 2009, we played a 1-1 at afcon 2004 semifinal they won us on penalties, we met again at afcon 2006 playing 1-1 in the quarterfinals but we on penalties…..they are not botwana that senegal played….Lets senegal lead DRC 3-0 lets see wether they will end the game 3-0😃😅
Is Tanzania not another minnow? Why we no give them 3-0? We escaped luckily today but for how long we will continue to come up with all sorts of defence for this sloppy play, Issorite

bro Afcon is humbling ooo….what happened to us can legit happen to these teams you mentioned oo….like with their games we have watched so far…if they meet their fellow African power house teams…they are also capable of playing 3-0 to 3-2 or even 3-3 ooo….Afcon is humbling o
Senegal went 3-0 up against Botswana did they crumble? Tunisia was there for the complete taking. I was listening to Brila fm and julius aghaowa was in the studio at 3-0 he said he was even expecting one more goal. All of them shock for studio with the way things went and julius said the game was never going that way.

but same nobody don score 5goals for this afcon…Nigeria is leading in that
We are becoming too predictable all what any team needs to do is to be patient with us till the 70th minute and start hitting us from all angles cos they know by then Chelle would have sold the game to them by collapsing the midfield!

Bàbá take am easy ooo with Chelle. Carthage Eagles no be small teamooo. Like someone pointed out we don't expect Tunisia not to fight back, I think anxiety got d better of Chelle.
We are a top side sir. We can’t be leading 3-0 and almost throw it away, even DRC, Egypt, Senegal or even Burkina Faso can’t be this poor haba.

What if Lookman goal didn’t enter, game would have ended 2-2 after 2 nil up no I can’t accept this trash. And I assure you it will happen again. It has become a pattern.

What I noticed, especially in the first half is that, Osayi was mostly alone on the right wing and was scared to venture forward on the flank.
Against a faster counter attacking Tunisia that would have been suicidal. Dude helped in keeping possession for us
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Goke7: 11:58pm On Dec 27, 2025
On the bright side something is beginning to click in our midfield and I like how Iwobi is beginning to take leadership shielding the ball like mikel those days. Even the osayi we are blaming tried his best linking with the midfield and attack. That was a beauty to behold. Ndidi has finally come to the party and we may be seeing more goals from him.

Akor deserves to be in our starting 11 he’s bringing much into the side and as for Lookman and osihmen just leave them to cook. Chelle is the Judas iscariot. I can only pray he doesn’t sell us for 30 pieces of silver as the tournament progresses but after this Afcon no matter the outcome make the man Dey go. It’s obvious he ruined our World Cup dreams! God punish am!

If to say he sub Osimhen out,Tunisia for equalize or even win us.

I have no idea why he subbed out a midfielder and subbed in two wingers when we are leading, Onyedika or any of the other two midfielders would have helped the team kept position.
Yes na osihmen is our magic wand in this team even if he’s not scoring no team dares try any rubbish. Congo became more adventurous when osihmen went out in the playoffs

Chelle is a spoiler when you think he’s got something covered he brings another poison. The man must go, I’ve seen through him enough

The Ref clearly had no business giving that penalty. But then, when playing the North Africans especially in North Africa, it is best to cut off lifelines that give them hope.

If we had not taken off Onyeka, I doubt we would have let the game end this way. And even if Onyeka was to be taken off, then bring in another midfielder that can defend as well.
Chelle should kindly learn fast from this game. For 79mins, we delivered a true masterclass performance but his tactical decisions after min 79 nearly spoilt the good work.

The 4312 dynamic shape was a masterclass. Completely dominated and stiffled the Tunisians.

Chelle altered it, not for good but for the worse. He has to learn.

Ndidi, top game today. But please kindly cut out giving away fouls around our box. Abeg.

Thank you Super Eagles. We move.
Until Chelle went mad, we’ve played one of the best football in the tournament so far.

I have watched some foreign journalists analysis. They are saying if Lookman and osihmen comes to the party then other contenders are in trouble in this tournament but our coach is the weapon fashioned against us. Don’t even know what to expect now! I feel so traumatised

The next game that Okoye would probably start and then we lose or draw, all una we de clamor for Okoye now go change like chameleon.
Just like first when the team were playing well and praises were pouring and i was laughing knowing how easily mos fans changes, then some mistakes towards the end of the match,he suddenly becomes stupid.
Okoye should have used his head, now we are through to the next round easily he would have in goal for the final game. I still think if we qualified for the World Cup okoye would be in this Afcon. The World Cup was his goal

This people talking about Chelle this and that, I don't know what you would have done if that bouncing header Nwabali was looking at entered the post?
Perhaps you would have blamed Chelle for the goal too?
The game would have ended 3-1 if our midfield didn’t collapse due to Chelle carelessness.

The pitch was slippery after a rainfall and Nwabali slipped. That can happen to any keeper. The players were all ok today but the coach

Meaning Chelle can easily draw a 4:0 game from a winning position

This man has decimated our confidence in his ability
He should be sacked after the AFCON
In fact I have lost confidence totally, it looks like when you think the team has begun to click then Chelle goes into a coven to cast a spell.

Before the game started I was so nervous even my wife was begging me to calm down. When we were 2-0 nil up I said it here we just need to keep possession and wound up the game. I had concluded that the eagles have wrapped this up. I was even shouting that osihmen must not be substituted cos I know Chelle I didn’t even know he had other demonic antics. Noooooo this is a disaster. This man will finish us up soon. Dem send am to destroy us.

Just in a hurry to bring on Simon

Tunisia got a dubious penalty, however Chelle does not know how to close a game!

You were leading 3-1 and you removed a midfielder and put two wingers. What are you doing man?

He almost cost us this game. Remove Onyeka and bring on another destroyer.

Trust those young boys. Use them. Use Nnadi!
This coach will surely mess us up. Am sorry he keeps giving his chronic critics all the bullets to shoot and kill him finally . Na which kind human being be this na

If this ended 3-1, I can forgive the team and the coach, but 3-2 from 3-0 is not the mark of a great side.

This is the World Cup qualifiers script being thrown at us again.
