Mali are no minnows either. They may be underachievers but even Morocco, another North African powerhouse struggled against them.

Can Tunisia and Mali both be eliminated? This is embarrassing for an afcon match. None of them deserve quarterfinals. Senegal is gonna roast whoever is unlucky enough to advance.
Senegal's route to the final is just too enviable, chai

Exactly. If VAR went soft today on Senegal for that goal, then Osimhen have been robbed.
This is why I mentioned earlier, I am fed up with this Afcon.

These photo journalists are selfish and arrogant. They just want to have their way. I bet if this man fails, they'll write longer epistles than actual journalists. Just cos he lock shop for 3 days. Haba.
😂 that’s what they do for a living na how will they sell their market? If you’re a photo journalist you’ll feel same way o!

Just few minutes of some shots won’t have been too bad!

Senegal was destined to win this game there was never a need to aid them with bad officiating

The officiating in this AFCON appears controversial and questionable, even with VAR the officiating is below standard
It’s terrible from what we all watched and saw in the last Afcon this is a huge step backwards.

Don’t even care who wins this competition anymore let it just end and we all move on

I just pray Chelle continues to win matches cos Nigerian journalists won’t spare him especially with his not giving them access to training sessions.

He had better continue to grind out results 😂 else na premium dragging e go chop

In my opinion he can be flexible in giving out just few minutes access. That won’t hurt much

Tunisia has an Afcon ooo. 2004 as hosts. And club football like you said, they have really deep sound pedigree. Also been to 6 WCs. 2026 will be their 7th. Also first African side to win a WC match (1978). They are no small fry.

Cameroun has been to more (cool. Nigeria, Morocco and Tunisia tied on 6 but now we will be overtaken by both North Africans at the 2026 WC.
National team football is my criteria and one Afcon trophy is not enough to be considered powerhouse in my own view o even DRC has two Afcon titles! Morocco with a semifinal finish (that’s like an Afcon trophy) at a World Cup makes them more of a powerhouse along with their only one Afcon trophy than Tunisia.

I wonder oooo

Till date African footballing power house remains

Egypt
Cameroon
Ghana
Morocco
Tunisia
Nigeria
Senegal
CIV
Algeria

Then
SA and Zambia have good pedigree in African footie but have never been power house
Tunisia, club football-wise yes, but national team football - No, even Senegal needs to win a second Afcon to be considered a powerhouse abeg, Morocco surely becomes a powerhouse after the last World Cup heroics, so they are in order

This is funny cos last AFCON we had a strong defense but non-existent midfield. Now it seems it's the other way round.
It’s an irony 😂

Nigerian coach said he is now having headache after the Uganda game . He said headache is caused by selection challenge .What is the best line up ? For me
Adams Osihmen. Lookman
Ndidi Onyeka Iwobi
Bruno Bassey Ogbu Osayi
He should maintain the starting lineup against Tunisia

The Super Eagles should motivate themselves with the knowledge that we have scores to settle with those two teams

Algeria for AFCON 2019
DR Congo for last month's WC playoffs.
And CIV too for last Afcon final
