Udoka,I was told to be taking Mint sweet to prevent Constipation

@Udoka I was told 1 month too,i should not allow water to touch it,buh mine was different,i stayed for 3months without bathing ooo,i dryclean and wash Vgjy wella, mine broke down due to no helper,i was going for dressing for more dan 3weeks,u can imagine giving birth to a preterm baby and d baby was in ICU,going to d hospital every day to breast feed my baby aaaaaah
D stress was so much,just endure after one u will start bathing,so it will heal very well

I believe Spirit is good,buh not on a dry face wound,i did cs and I was cleaning d place with spirit until d face is dry and I stopped,so once d cord is down,if u will observe it while cleaning d navel with d spirit,ur Lo won't be crying becoz it's dry,so I believe vaseline is very good for dat.

How do u correct d old mamas doing omugwo for you? They still believe in d old ways of caring for babies and want to apply it to the babies. Eg I was told to only apply spirit on d cord at d hosp, but they want to apply vaseline before and now the cord is off,my aunt maintained its only vaseline That will be applied. Again d pen-is, am under pressure to apply vaseline or pencilin when doc said nothing shd be applied. Pls how do u handle these conflicts, bearing in mind these mamas used these their methods on us and it turned out well. I hv been told now again to buy bitter kola to soak in water to be given baby to calm his stomach, that its tummy ache that's Making him cranky, but new age called it COLIC ?

@Udoka I hav a baby girl wen her cord was off I stopped using spirit was using only vaseline on her navel and it healed perfectly as long as is odorless blue seal vaseline is good,even as u are changing ur baby diaper be applying it,he will neva hv nappy rash,i used Enfacol for d colic buh my moda in law said sometin abt bitter kola buh I hv started using infacol.its well dear.

Congrats to Udoka,rukemi and all d new mums,as for all d preggie mommas,i wish u all safe delivery,we shall hear d cry of d baby and joy & smile of d mother dats what really matters weda CS or V,d word SAFE is the main stuff
