Politics / Re: Senator Vs Governor: Who Has More Powers? by Goldenonyx: 11:04pm On Aug 01, 2019
Governor.. Kwankwaso settled this issue when he was asked why he didn't return to the senate.

He said the senate is not a place where your people really feel your influence.. In other words a senator is not as influential and hence as powerful as a governor
Politics / What Is The Legal Age Of Sexual Consent In Nigeria. by Goldenonyx: 5:53am On Jul 07, 2019
Hello Nairalanders, i was in a heated argument today concerning the age of sexual consent in Nigeria.

I always thought the legal age to be involved in any form of sexual intimacy was 18 until someone said Nigeria actually has the lowest age of consent in the world at 11..

When we decided to seek the help of Ifa (google), we got conflicting results. Some said 11, some said 18.

Please my fellow Nairalanders what does the constitution of Nigeria say about this?

Drabeey:
I remember when Ex-governor Ambode kept having series of agreements with the Kebbi state government. He had this vision, not only his vision, he started the project... And now another governor is at the verge of making the vision a reality(even as 'unpally' as they are).

That is governing! Love or hate Lagos state, she is our pride.

btw, what is wrong with this one?

Please what is the state of the industrial park, do you have pictures?

Politics / Re: Buhari Message To Newly Sworn In Officers Of 9th National Assembly & Legislators by Goldenonyx: 6:40am On Jun 12, 2019
This time 4 years ago, i was one of those who mocked Ahmed Lawan and Femi Gbaja for their embarrassing defeat at the National Assembly elections. Although I'm a Buharist to my grave, i clamoured for Saraki because i wanted the Legislative arm of government to be 100% independent, i wanted true separation of powers and most importantly i dint want Aso Rock to rubber stamp our Parliament.. SP Saraki upon being the automatic number 3 man in the country became power drunk and assumed the post of Sabboteur in Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Saraki used his position to settle political and personal scores with his former party instead of priotizing the interest of ordinary Nigerians like me that clamoured for him.. How can a man boast of deliberately slashing the budget of Lagos - Ibadan expressway by 30 billion Naira so the South West (President Buhari strong hold) won't have any reason to celebrate the APC government?.. With a huge sigh of relief, i hereby congratulate the new Sheriff in town - Distinguished Senator Ahmed Lawan on your exalted position of being the 3rd most powerful man in the country, may your regime bring peace & tranquillity to the hallowed chambers and the country at Large... Long may you reign

NSK4U:

sometimes people join multitudes to make allegations without proof just to follow d crowd. plz can u tell us, how saraki personally slashed d budget? was it not APC that had d highest members in d floor and could have refused him if it wasn't d party's plan or did he use magic on all the APC senators? just explain how he did it for us to learn, thank u.

Saraki boasted about it during a talk session with some Youths in the buildup to the election.. the video is on youtube (please kindly find attached)

Romance / Is Unclothedness In The Family A Normal Thing? by Goldenonyx: 6:04pm On Jun 07, 2019
I was in my friends house last weekend and I saw something that I feel is an anomaly. My friend who is 24 and his sister (21) actually see themselves Unclad. The sis is comfortable undressing in front of her bro and vice versa. I am an only child, so I'm in no position to judge if this is normal or not. So I'm throwing this to the house, is Unclothedness in the family a normal thing?
