When Allardyce was at Bolton his son Craig was an agent and it was an open secret if you wanted in, you knew who you had to deal with.

Saying that so also is Ferguson's son so also is David Moyes's brother, so also is Guardiola's brother. Conflicting interests and football is rife and so is corruption.
You forgot to mention the Rednapp family. They are like the football version of the Kenedies.

I have a cousin who is a professional footballer now in Spain.
I was oportuned to talk to Pere Guardiola and Henk ten Carte before he went on trials with with the Stoke U21's.
Very sweet talking cool guy.

Do you watch La-liga or are one of those EPL fans who have single minded zeal. grin
I Can name at least 20 defenders trained in Spain better than their english counterparts.
Pique, Ramos, Puyol , Alba, Baily, Godin, Carvajal,Bartra,Juanfran,Alves,Nacho,Marcelo,Inigo Martinez, salgado,Gaya,Bernat,Azpi,Bellerin,Javi Martinez thats off my head. Don't say that again o undecided
In my post I layed emphasis on the word "home grown"

Some of the names you mentioned do not tick that box.
Belerin, Pique were educated in England.
Marcelo, Godin and Alves spent their formative years in South America.

There are very few classy defenders who rose through the rank and file of Spanish football, from the academies without being educated else where.

The coaches in Spain spend more time training midfielders and strikers more than they do with defenders.

City has a poor conversion rate and I expect Guardiola to keep drilling them in training to improve.

So, to improve the team's conversion rate will require work on the training ground. After that, the game time is to show or test how far the team progressed. Not necessarily to improve the players finishing.

Nacho will learn more from these drills.
My take on Iheanacho is that he should explore a loan option next summer.
He can't afford to be on the bench in a world cup year. Else he will be confined to the bench in Russia.
The super Eagles aren't being coached by Eguavoen or the likes anymore.

Rohr will have no qualms starting Anichebe, Ideye, Success or anyone who is in form over Iheanacho.

The politics of football is so murky and not clean.

I know a U18 player of Nigerian origin scored a hat trick and three assists in a match with the U23's at a premiership side while on trial .

Was offered a contract and then it was withdrawn essentially the HOD of recruitment and the Managers preferred agent was not in on the deal. So it simply collapsed, I have too many of these stories.
Every man and his dog know the English game is not clean.
Sam Aladyce's scandal tells just a bit of the entire story.

Managers and beuracrats upstairs take bongs from players and agents to push through deals.

I wonder how a guy like Harry Rednapp is walking around a free man when all investigations have proven he took bongs from players.
He even lied under investigation that he can't read and doesn't know how to use a computer.

The English game is as filthy as they come.

Training at the biggest club and playing for them may not necessarily open the door for you.

Sometimes you have to bite the bullet take your chance be a man and prove yourself in the open gallery of football.

Godwin Ekpolo spent donkey years at Barcelona playing youth football and on the B team, waiting for a chance that never came.

He's now playing at Fleetwood Town fc, playing kick and rush protein muscle and stamina football. I don't who is agent is but he will not be able to showcase himself in that team, well at least it's going to find it very very difficult.
Godwin Ekpolo's case is a curios one. Although not so surprising, injuries have been a major draw back for the guy.
Again, La liga is not a famed for producing top quality "home grown" defenders.

The best defenders in La liga are mostly imports who got their education else where.

Home grown defenders from La liga usually don't hit the tilt.
Osede as promising as he was for Real Madrid B is slugging it out at Bolton in ligue 1.

Am happy Uche Agbo is only on loan at Granda.

Their production line of midfielders and strikers is top notch but when it comes to defenders, its a bit meeeeh

At Manchester United, Forlan was not just a training cone. He was a special project. However, Forlan was eager to impress on the field than take in the lessons.

He had poor games with the iron studs and switched them to rubber.

When Ferguson found out, they had a fallout. With time, Forlan would have adjusted to the boots and Ferguson would have moulded Forlan to his taste.

Fortunately, he landed with Pellegrini who knew what he wanted from Forlan and it worked.

However, there are not many coaches like Pellegrini. With Guardiola, we have a coach with a history of bringing the best in players.

There is no need leaving. Spend time in training. Learn and then seek playing time. For now, I do not think this is the time to clamour for playing time.
Iheanacho is at a stage where he needs regular run of games, not just training. He's no longer an academy lad.
At this stage of their development, Lukaku and Kevin de Bryn went into the woods.
If Kevin de Bryn didn't leave Chelsea and have the seasons he had on loan at wolfsburg, he would be at the level of Lucas Piazon who sat at Chelsea and missed a critical part of his development.

Did you see how you jumped the whole education and put Pichichi on leaving.

You neglected the hours every day in training Manuel Pellegrini faced with Forlan. You missed that Forlan had a fallout with Ferguson because he was not ready to train with Iron studs.

Forlan was lucky that after his fallout with Ferguson, he had a coach like Pellegrini who took extra hours to keep working on Forlan.

There is an educational stage. Iheanacho is still learning.
You have finally landed. Now you're talking.
Forlan didn't believe only Ferguson could improve him and just sat at Manchester.
He moved to a then very small club, Villareal. Where he met someone who believed in him and dedicated time to train him and got him game time, while at Man Utd, he was just a training cone and a sub who came in every 88'minute.
You see the difference?
You can draw same parallel line with iheanacho.

By the way, you are misusing words. Are you saying, all these years, Victor Moses stagnated?

One thing I learnt over the years is that, talent does not rot. A good example is Mikel. Despite playing as a four for club or country over the years, when Keshi moved him to ten, he blossomed. He did not stagnate.

Adama Traore got some of the best education at Barcelona. After that, he went on a hunt for playing time. He is showing so much promise because without playing time with Barca's main team, he gain a lot learning from their Wonderful coaches. The influence of training with the likes of Iniesta and Messi.

Without La Masia academy, Traore will not be the kind of player he is today. Education first.
I've been erroneously referring to him as Coulibaly. Some of these Franco phone names confuse me. Diarra, Diawarra etc

Truth is that Traore wouldn't have developed if he was comfortable on the Barca bench or with the team B.
Martin Caeseres had to move on loan to Juve to fulfil his potential because the minutes aren't coming at Barcelona. There are lots of examples

Train is not the same thing as sit down and watch. Get it.

Sit down and watch. Unless you can show me Pogba sitting down to study Pirlo's game style and a coach who trained players like Scholes and Pirlo. You can not prove Pogba had the kind of training Ferguson had in mind for Pogba.

Ferguson noticed Pogba had the talent to be an all round midfielder. Brought Scholes back from retirement and wanted Pogba to study Scholes. He refused and went to shine. Today, it is accepted, he did not learn the lesson.

Finito.
Let's push semantics and not elevate Ferguson like he knew it all.
Ferguson have in his time had world class players stagnate under his watchful eyes.

Iheanacho is facing same problem Diego Forlan faced at Man Utd.
Forlan had decent goal to game ratio for man utd but he found himself perpetually on the bench for Rud Van Nisteroy.

Forlan left for Villareal and later Athletico Madrid where he won more than 3 pichichi's.

Shweinstiger can shot, play box to box, bringing in energy to the game with his work rate. Apart from Pogba being more skillful than Shweinstiger, Shweinstiger can do most of what Pogba can do but, Shweinstiger can control the game.

It was a lesson Pogba missed. He would have studied Scholes, worked on improving his controlling the game skill with Ferguson who watched Scholes grow as a midfielder. Who best to teach Pogba than Sir Alex Ferguson.

Unfortunately, the kid was too eager to shine and today it is accepted that Pogba can not control the midfield.
LOL.. Schweinsteiger has always been a deep lying playmaker from day one.
I watched his emergence prior to the 2006 world cup. When he replaced Tosten Frings, I think.

Schweinsteiger doesn't play b2b, rather Micheal Ballack played B2b while Schweinsteiger and Frings controls the game from deep.

Pogba is like Ballack, he needs a deep lying playmaker to function properly.
That's why Mourin is interested in getting Mikel Obi.

The scenario of Gnabry you are painting flaws your point when you add he stagnated after a loan spell. I thought you want me to believe that a loan spell is the right option? Is it not Victor Moses that went on repeated loan spells and the coaches treated him like thrash.

Giuseppe Rossi went on loan to Newcastle and the coach just dumped him on the bench.

I have said it again, Iheanacho is young. He will get playing time. What Iheanacho needs now is to keep learning to understand the system.
Coulibaly got injured playing for Aston Villa, by the time he came back, the team was in 5's and 6's.. That's why I described the deal as a bad move for him.

Moses bounced off on loan to seek first team football. Brenda Rogers tossed him to the bench at Liverpool, he was decent for Mark Hughes at Stoke but for injury, he was on fire whenever he stepped on the pitch for Westham, which was few and far in between due to injuries again.
Moses have had an injury plagued career so far. I hope the Chelsea doctors and physio look after him so he can have an injury free season

There is a big difference playing alongside someone and sitting down to watch and study the person. When Pogba played/trained at Juventus, Pirlo was controlling. Do you think Pogba will sit and study Pirlo during that phase.

At City, Patrick Vieira took Emery Huws to the Etihad to sit with him and watch Sergio Busquets play. It takes a lot to get that. Huws after the game said Busquets was amazing.
Pogba trained with Pirlo everyday, traveled to games on the same bus, watched match reviews and shared dressing rooms with him.
He will be stupid not to learn alot from Pirlo in the 3 years they played together.

Some things are not coach able. Its either you're born with it or you're not.
Pogba is a b2b midfielder. He can never control a midfield like Zidane, Xavi, schooles, Pirlo or even Fabregas.

Same thing I said. At the moment, Iheanacho still has a lot. He should spend time walking with Guardiola. I believe a year or two in, he would have learnt alot. Not, all. By that time, he might have regular playing time or can leave in search of a club.
Sitting on the bench for 2 years won't stagnate him?

I remember Serge Gnarby's case at Arsenal. For the better part of 2years he was not playing due to injuries and bad loan spell with Tony Pulis at West Bromwich. The young man stagnated and people quickly forgot about him.

The DFB pushed for his return to Germany and so far this season with a decent run of games for Wolfsburg, he's a full Germany international and one of the hottest prospects in the Bundesliga with more than 5goals to his name.
Truth is that young players stagnate when they are starved of games between the ages of 21-23.

Another example is Adama coulibaly at Middlesbrough, who was hands down the most talented player from his set from the Mestaila academy.
The guy stagnated over the past few seasons due to injuries and bad loan spells at Aston Villa and the like. This seasons with the proper environment at Middlesborough with Karanka, he has simply been unplayable.

Iheanacho shouldn't wait to stagnate for 2 years sitting on the bench before he pushed for first team football elsewhere.
Many talented young players haven't come back from such draw backs.

I wonder where you got such. Pogba was to play the season he left Manchester United. After some time, Sir Alex Ferguson opted to bring Scholes back from retirement.

I was among those who felt Ferguson was wrong bringing Scholes back, instead of making Pogba a regular starter. Those who followed Pogba's development believed he was ready and Pogba was right leaving.

Today, after years down the line, Pogba is at Manchester United and he can not control the midfield. That was why Sir Alex Ferguson brought back Scholes. It was an opportunity for the young man to learn. Pogba's eagerness for glory made him miss a valuable lesson.
I don't think Pogba lost a valuable lesson not playing with schooles.
At Juve he played alongside Pirlo who held his hand. Pirlo is no slouch.

The thing with Pogba is that he is not a midfield controller, he will never be, because he's not wired to sit and just spray passes across the park.
He's a guy who simply dominates the midfield with his energy and wins battles in a b2b role.

If schweinsteiger was 26yrs old, pairing him with Pogba would have been a match made in heaven.

It is tiring when you ask the same question I answered back, something I am sure you read.

Guardiola has a history of making players get better. We are talking of even top players. A player like Messi who was among the best in the World. How many coaches can improve a player at such level.

Most you guys keep talking about is game time. There is more to improving a player than game time. Guardiola even changed Messi's diet. Came up with complex passing drills to improve build up play. In turn, made Mess sharper.

I said, Iheanacho should work with a coach who has the science of improving players. After that, I see him becoming top quality.

The coaches at Everton and Monchengladbach do not have that history.
At what stage should Iheanacho pull the plug and hand in a loan request?
What is the duration of apprenticeship you think it's enough for Kelechi learning from Guardiola in training? Serious question.

How can you say that? It is not true. How can given a player few games at Juve improve the player? It is can never work that way. Pogba spent years at Manchester United developing. Years. Yet, you want to equate the few games at Juventus Pogba used to cement his place as a starter in Juventus.

Training improves quality. Then the player needs a run of games to show form.
If he went on loan to Monchenglabach, Everton or Southampton, won't he be training to play in such teams?
Or is man city the only club with a training ground?

He was so way off the mark.

If Tottenham can give him more game time then let him move jare.
Was he really that bad? I heard from friends who watched the match that he wasn't impressive.
I hope he puts up a fight till the end of the season before going on loan for 2017/18 season(Man city will not loan their second striker half way through the season this coming January) .
We need him fit and sharp with enough enough playing time leading up to the world cup in June 2018.

He must exercise a loan option next season, else he might risk loosing his place in the starting line-up in Russia.
His handlers must look out for what is in his best interest.

Of course Lukaku is a world class player and one of Premier leagues best acts from 2012 till date. Only Aguero has score more goals than him within that period.
Lukaku goal record vs Premier League strikers since 2012/13 (games in brackets)
Sergio Aguero – 71 (107)
*Romelu Lukaku – 60 (130)*
Luis Suarez – 54 (66)
Olivier Giroud – 53 (126)
Christian Benteke – 49 (113)
Wayne Rooney – 48 (111)
Robin van Persie – 48 (86)
Yaya Toure – 42 (121)
Harry Kane – 41 (74)
Daniel Sturridge – 38 (61)
Wilfried Bony – 31 (81)
Diego Costa – 31 (50)
Theo Walcott – 28 (81)
See his numbers when paired with other "world class strikers in Europe since 2012.
Cristiano Ronaldo ( 31) – 207 (192 games)
Lionel Messi (28) – 195 (189)
Zlatan Ibrahimovic (34) – 137 (173)
Robert Lewandowski (27) – 133 (183)
Luis Suarez (29) – 128 (165)
Neymar (24) (since August 2012) – 104 (163)
Sergio Aguero (27) – 96 (143)
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (26) – 95 (176)
Karim Benzema (28) – 91 (173)
Gareth Bale (26) – 79 (155)
×Romelu Lukaku (22) – 78 (155)*
Olivier Giroud (29) – 78 (176)
Carlos Tevez (32) – 76 (159)
Wayne Rooney (30) – 63 (146)
Amongst these players let it be noted Lukaku is the youngest and plays for an average mid table team(West brom and Everton) within the period being analysed.
Emphasis is on performance, a player doesn't have to be playing for Bayern Munich and Barcelona to be world class.
Use verifiable statistics and numbers to dispute that Lukaku isn't a worldie. Don't tell me your gutt feeling or just the opinion of a journalist posted as a link.

I understand. Doing all you can to save your face... It's more like you're drowning under water right now... Looollll

Just give it a rest.... Okay. LUKAKU IS NOT WORLD CLASS for now. He couldnt make the best 50 players on major lists and you're here still rapping. Because you said it would be unthinkable to think of a World top 50 without lukaku to prove his case for world class.... I can imagine your facial expression on finding out he's not top 50.... Looolll

Oga... Lukaku is neither world class nor world's top 50 for now. Accept it and move on. Maybe in two-three years from now, we can start saying, "Yes, mehn! Lukaku is world class"

So if we wanna mention the world class players/acts in the EPL right now, Lukaku follow? Give it a rest man. You're losing it. smiley
Of course Lukaku is a world class player and one of Premier leagues best acts from 2012 till date. Only Aguero has score more goals than him within that period.

Lukaku goal record vs Premier League strikers since 2012/13 (games in brackets)
Sergio Aguero – 71 (107)
*Romelu Lukaku – 60 (130)*
Luis Suarez – 54 (66)
Olivier Giroud – 53 (126)
Christian Benteke – 49 (113)
Wayne Rooney – 48 (111)
Robin van Persie – 48 (86)
Yaya Toure – 42 (121)
Harry Kane – 41 (74)
Daniel Sturridge – 38 (61)
Wilfried Bony – 31 (81)
Diego Costa – 31 (50)
Theo Walcott – 28 (81)

See his numbers when paired with other "world class strikers in Europe since 2012.

Cristiano Ronaldo ( 31) – 207 (192 games)
Lionel Messi (28) – 195 (189)
Zlatan Ibrahimovic (34) – 137 (173)
Robert Lewandowski (27) – 133 (183)
Luis Suarez (29) – 128 (165)
Neymar (24) (since August 2012) – 104 (163)
Sergio Aguero (27) – 96 (143)
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (26) – 95 (176)
Karim Benzema (28) – 91 (173)
Gareth Bale (26) – 79 (155)
×Romelu Lukaku (22) – 78 (155)*
Olivier Giroud (29) – 78 (176)
Carlos Tevez (32) – 76 (159)
Wayne Rooney (30) – 63 (146)

Amongst these players let it be noted Lukaku is the youngest and plays for an average mid table team(West brom and Everton) within the period being analysed.
Emphasis is on performance, a player doesn't have to be playing for Bayern Munich and Barcelona to be world class.

Use verifiable statistics and numbers to dispute that Lukaku isn't a worldie. Don't tell me your gutt feeling or just the opinion of a journalist posted as a link.

Loooollllll...... He's dropped another one. Looolll

Do you know there are many things I can ask you to show me with facts to prove that something is the way it is? smiley

Boyyy!!! I'm tempted right now but naaa... Won't go down that street.

I'll rather put it simply....

WORLD CLASS IS WHAT IT IS.....

"OF THE HIGHEST CALIBER." smiley

If you don't know what "WORLD CLASS" is after all your years in football observatory/followership, then you have no business talking football.

Ciao.... wink
This is exactly the reason I said you argue with your gutt feelings. You have proved it once again, it's like dejavu.

Is that not the same question I asked you this yammering mister??

If I term a player world-class coz of world class performances in just a couple of games which arent even big games, then I too have a whole lot of players I'll term world class....

So I didnt just see it but I said so earlier mister.... smiley

And those books of yours have no credibility!!! Who knows about Sir Goldfish's book of world class players?? Huh??

We are talking Goal 50, Ibtimes, Worldsoccer, CIES.... What the heck is "in my books"??

Bollocks again!!!! Na wa....

Ciao Man... Dont send me into another coma.
Those links you posted were list of top 10,20 or 50 players in the opinion of the writter.
We are arguing who is a world class player and not who makes the top 10 players.
There is a distinct difference between "top 10" and "world class".
Even the journalists who compiled those lists you're running with won't say Lukaku isn't world class.

**yawns** what else was I expecting? Baseless yammerings... smiley

With all the rafts of sites... Not even a mention of Lukaku and you cant accept defeat.

Not disappointed at all... Loollll

Ciao Mr Goldfish... wink
You laboured in vain to prove that Lukaku isn't world class. Until you show me the matrix used to calculate who a world class player is, you haven't posted a superior argument.
FIFA for example have a laid down premtive calculator on how they arrive at teams monthly Coca-Cola rankings.
Now the question you haven't been able to answer is what is the geometric or premtive calculator used to calculate who a world class player is? How many goals and assists must a world class player make per season?
It's all subjective and a matter of personal opinion. If its not, then kindly post a link from UEFA, Caf, Concacaf or FIFA in how a world class player is calculated.

lol..anybody can use world class to justify anything. Anderson was once world class, I wonder what happened.

Sturridge is still considered world class by many, some people would even say Charlie Austin is world class, even Anichebe has posted some world class performances in a Sunderland jersey, if you play in the EPL, you're world class.

sometimes, I dey wonder wetin make some of una better pass me for analysis sef. You make some good arguments at some points and ruin it with BS later.

lol, Lukaku ati Renato world class...this NL sha
The bolded is what I've been saying all morning. I hope TheSuperNerd saw this.
Yes! Anichebe has been posting world class performances over the last few weeks for Sunderland. If he remains consistent over a period he will be world class in my books.
Top quality performances +consistency is the hallmarks of a world class player, in goldfish80's humble opinion.

I cannot believe I'm reading this crap. Looollll

Best players in the English league?? Like seriously?? I'm talking "BEST IN THE WORLD" mehn!!!!

I'M TALKING WORLD-CLASS HERE!!! HELLO!
Anybody home?! smiley

The "bolded" is your lame and cowardly attempt to discredit me but that's so not gonna work... smiley Thruout this thread my reputation is known. I dont argue much but when I take an argument super-seriously, you see me pouring facts down your throat till you say "no more... Enough is enough" Loolllll

I also take it that you've been blind to lot of facts I drop here when talking football huh? smiley After you'll start saying one is being rude but the fact is, "You must be blind" to have made that comment at the "bolded"...

You want facts?? You wanna see my best 10 strikers/forwards in Europe which extensively means in the world??

Loollll... I'm afraid I can't feed you with "my list".... You will say it's my opinion "as usual", "my gut feelings-laden list"... Looollll
*Besides Yara Yara and I dont wanna unveil our special players rankings meter just yet... And to you, not at all naa, why? coz you wont even regard it*

Lemme rather drop proof from a whole host of other sites all over the internet.......

I did my best to limit the rankings search to between 2014-2016 (Lukaku's most productive years). And yep... "Forwards" mean WFs, STs, SS, and hybrid AMFs. BUT "STRIKERS" mean "No.9" mostly and also include WFs. I hope you know these.... wink

Knock yourself out Mister Goldfish... Have fun reading.... smiley

https://www.soccerjury.com/files/players/1448055744Soccerjury-Reference.jpg

Note: This list is not not even supposed to be here. It's about players valuation not "football stats" smiley But I put it because Lukaku shows up at least on this list... Loolll he's at no.18 not even top 10.

Note: IBtimes' World best 50 2016-17... No Lukaku. Lukaku did make CIES football observatory's list of top 25 strikers though but it's more about Valuation again.... And no top 10 placing. Not even top 20. Sorry sad

Note: CIES top 10 forwards rankings march 2015.

Note: Ibtimes' best world 50 2015-16

...........................

I can go on and on but I think it's more than enough.

Throughout various authorities and respected stats/rankings soccer sites, No mention of Lukaku as world class or being in the top 10 or even Top 20 for the last three years and the present.

In finality, DO YOU KNOW HE DIDN'T EVEN MERIT/EARN/GET A PLACE IN THE GOAL 50 2016 won by Cristiano Ronaldo?? I can't recall all the players of Goal 50 of 2015 won by Lionel Messi but for 2016, the in-form Lukaku is not even there.

And in IBTimes' world best 50 for the last two years he's not even there..... I didnt even bother checking the IBtimes' 2014-15 list.

Mister..... You saw how I handled Forgiveness when he said nonsense about Solanke and Iheanacho comparison stats. That's just one example out of many. I really dont like talking too much or dragging arguments because you wanna stand your ground. When you see the truth, you bow to it and accept it. #Simple... smiley

That's how I drop mine. Before I say something so strong, just know that I've done my homework. Ciao.... smiley

P.S: And one more thing, You'll find Kevin de Bruyne on most of the lists above.... I also have CIES football observatory valuations list for 2016 right here. If you want it.. Just say "hey!" wink
Like I said, there's no laid down geometrics used to calculate who should be tagged world class.
The raft of links you posted supports my assertion.

Let me use the Ibtimes link you posted as a reference.
The Ibtimes rated Marco Reus top 30. This same guy have barely played football over the last few years due to injuries. He missed the world cup and Euros due to ill health. But in the best judgement of Ibtimes, they rated him well inside the top 30,ahead of Ozil.
Don't you see these things are subjective and a matter of personal opinion?

Until FIFA or UEFA introduces a matrix which will be used to calculate who and what makes a world class player, then you can run to town with your index on who is world class or close to world class.

World class players refers to players of the very highest caliber mister. Players who you can call on anyday and they will almost always deliver.

Who is lukaku?? When you talk of the top 10 strikers in the world today you think Lukaku will be found there?? Na wa....

Dont do that abeg... WORLD CLASS IS NOT A MATTER OF OPINION. WORLD CLASS IS JUST WHAT IT IS.... "OF THE HIGHEST CALIBER" backed up with WORLD CLASS PERFORMNACES IN THE BIGGEST GAMES AND FOLLOWED UP WITH HIGH-CLASS ACHIEVEMENTS.

You dont go about calling every player world-class just because they posted "world class performances" in a couple of games or because they cost huge money from 40million and above..... You should know by now by pricing of players is all about marketability.

If I go by your definition of world class based on price-tag, then Mangala should be tagged world-class also.... Isnt it??

And if it's by posting "worldclass performances" in just a couple of games then there a lotta players I will term world class naa.... Na wa ooo.
Lukaku have been consistent over the past 3 yearsnot a couple of games.
If I challenge you to name your top 10 strikers in Europe , that will open another debate, so I won't do that.
But I put it to you, you don't have to be top 10 to be considered world class.

It's just like when Universities are rated, any institution rated inside the top 100 is considered world class.
According to FIFA, there are more than 2 million professional footballers around the globe. Anyone of those players within the top 100 is world class if am to go with that logic.
If Lukaku does not make your top 50, then you're being totally unrealistic. In the Premiership alone, he is rated well inside the top 10 ,coming in at Number 8( in the best player category not even best striker) .
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/04/06/ranking-the-20-best-players-in-the-premier-league-march-2016/romelu-lukaku0/

If you have facts why Lukaku isn't world class, disprove my claims with those facts, don't argue with your gut feelings like you normally do.
