Check your email, you should be getting mails from them, for every transaction.

If not, contact your broker
Do you use them (wealth.ng)? And you get these transactions with the numbers and all?

Let me help clear up some issues about wealth.ng

Wealth.ng is a product of Sankore Securities Limited, just like Invest.ng from United Capital.

Sankore Securities is your broker .

All shares you buy must be in your name, except you subscribe to the mutual funds products.

Some brokers can help your mandate with the registrars, while others will others will charge you for it.
Really? If that is it, then that’s cool.

I take my previous statements back!

Wealth buys shares in their name and keep a tally of your buy/sells.

The advantage I can see in this system is that, you don't have to worry about mandate forms to receive your dividends.

I think TROVE does thesame for your local stocks but buys foreign stocks in your name.

The CSCS commission is in every transaction, either by a regular broker or online broker.
I suspected as much. That is why they can easily send dividends to you. The problem though is, if they go bankrupt. What then happens? Or they get hacked etc, how do you prove you have “X” amount of shares.

I do hope the right regulators are monitoring them.

wamiikechukwu:
I remember paying some naira as CSCS commission, but wasn't given any number.

I think the letter is what they did...

Please Can you tell me the essence of having a CSCS number.
It’s just having a number that proves beyond doubt “you” own certain shares. If something unfortunate happens to them (not saying it would), and they close/bankrupt, how will you prove you own certain shares? Note that because of said number I can move from one broker to another easily, will still meet the shares I own wherever I go too.

I don't think they paid... Look at the last paid dividend...

That's from UBA in wealth.ng
Do this wealth.ng guys give you a CSCS number?

Or na in their name dem dey buy your stock?

Lol. Nice to see you're coming back to NSE. smiley
So, the coast is clear or what do you have for us?

Yes. Saw it and was about to reply, Morgan remains the cheapest so far and they improved on their customer service too.

Hope everything is great at your end. smiley
Thanks for your response dear.

Yeah the coast is clear. I don’t really want to be too optimistic, since timing the markets is impossible.

My advice still remains, by nice companies in tiny amounts gradually. Set your orders. As someone said above, FPI leaving has nothing to do with us, they just want liquidity in dollars. That’s their business.

First we have coronavirus hanging on our neck, then the oil bruhaha, then we have the end time prophets and conspiracy theorists. All these will pass, If you ask me though I am a bit worried about the naira, though I think if our stock market moves positively, even if the naira drops more, some stocks “might” outperform the drop.

People still buying stocks?FPI that are running away you get sense pass them?
Hahaha because they are FPI doesn’t mean they are smart money.

Also, winning in this investment game has almost nothing to do with financial knowledge, it’s basically psychology. I can bet most of this FPI’s are selling at a loss.

The thing is, if you were happy to buy something at 10 naira, shouldn’t you be happier to buy at 1 naira? Emotional calm and mental strength is not easy.

Russia and Saudi can't hold out for long. Their economies will definitely enter into recession and the world is flooded with oil. It is only a matter of time, all storage vessels around the world will be filled up and countries will start to shut in well. They are both feeling the heat.

You see Brent, it will hit above 80. But the next fall of Brent again will be $5. That is when the electric revolution will start. This event, this period, looks like a pilot test of : Work From Home (WFH), online schooling, world without traffic, electric vehicles, online shopping, green earth. Greta Thunberg will be so excited.

Are you noticing something? NASA keeps reporting air pollution reduction in all major cities that are having lockdown. Though this is to tell you that factories are closed and manufacturing isn't going on. But to me it is telling me that it is a pilot test for something to come in future.

I believe a new era will be birthed after this.

Whether I am in the market or not, whether I go long or short, NSE or anywhere else. I will say what I think is facts. Frustration? Because of price movements? Not me, can never be me. Everyone with their strategy will make money, but don't tell me I can't talk, don't tell me all I say is negative and don't spread lies about me, that will definitely frustrate me of course. Lol!

I’m telling lies yet NSE is going down..NSE must be a single stock to you..
BTW I don’t have the time to start quoting people’ Past comments.. like huh That’s one hell of a work! Lol

You are looking at the book value of DF but Olam is look at Apapa port and Nigerian Market. Then penetrate other west African markets too..
Is just like buying an old apartment building with a sea view in a city where you’ll like to build a resort.. within you you know is the location you buying not the building.. people will talk until you are done transforming the whole place.. ..

Whichever, the money wey Olam won pay no be your own.. so whether Olam pay too much, e no concern you.. you own na to just tap into the Blessing grin grin
Lol! NSE going down means all stocks will follow? NSE is going down I am sure also means being down on a point basis. Of course the naira loosing value to USD even if NSE stocks have the same value is still the same. Nothing has been lost.

Clap for yourself. grin

But madame, one fact I know is to make others look bad, you tell baseless lies. I have proven you are a liar, counter it before you come to other matters.

And as for the Olam/DF issue, I choose not to say anything again since my point is obviously flying over your head.

People should respect peoples opinion, if what someone post didn't go well with you jump and past. If there is no bear there won't be bull either, both works together. In bear people lose weight and it present an opportunity for others to gain weight later. That's is NSE for you, don't take most of the comments at heart to avoid HBP.

For now market will be dancing up and down, till July, there is no news to move the market forward, until q2 result starting coming out by July ending, between 50/60 days go.
And are you sure I am the person you should be quoting? Lol!

Since you have sold all your holdings and currently out of the market as clearly stated in point 3a. You will do us good by not confusing people.

We all cannot leave the market. Once people leave the market they start predicting doom and economy collapse. Forgetting that an economic collapse means your money anywhere invested is worthless.
You have no right to tell me what I can do and can't do. That is why this is a market. We have entry prices and prices we leave, I don't enter the market or leave because of you or what you say, neither should anyone here.

But let me get this straight, MTN is overvalued is doom speak? NSE will still go down/capitulation is doom speak? DF overvalued something else involved is doom speak? Nigerian naira going down is doom speak?

So I should only come here to talk about prices going up? Nah! I am too Logical for that sir and I believe you are too logical for your statement. I have not broken any rules and neither have I confused anyone, if you can't stand my opinion then leave.

Whatever I say here is my opinion and strategy, if you agree with it, fine, if you don't that's your business, but don't tell me what I can or can't do. Thank you.

Stop disturbing yourself.. gonfreecss1 is neither here nor there.. he has got something negative to say about all stock on nse and yet he is more active on nse than me and you.. he started off with how South Africa market is better than Nigerian market.. he no dey talk which stock e get!.. this one no good, that one no good, which one you com get for your portfolio?
I have made it a policy not to attack people on Nairaland even when they come after me.

But one thing I don't appreciate is misrepresenting me or painting lies about me.

1. When have I ever talked about South African market? To the extent of saying it's better than the Nigerian market? Kindly quote me on this.

2. No! I am not more active on the NSE than you, nor you than me, why? You don't know me and I don't know you. So that is just an assumption that is baseless.

3. I don't discuss the stocks I have? Really?

a. I said it here I have sold my holdings and I am waiting patiently for the economy to show me signs things will change. Cc, my advice on having a liquid money market fund to hold funds and wait for opportunities.

b. I have said it here that I used to hold UCAP and Afriprud, I have said good things about Afriprud here. If logical reasoning won't make you understand I probably used to hold Zenith bank and 1 or 2 FUGAZ, then that's not my fault.

4. As for negative things to say about all stocks on the NSE, kindly refer to 3b above, but let me explicitly state that I have said people should be careful of Diamond bank, Unity bank and later Access bank for buying Diamond. I have said Transcorp at 1.7 naira was overvalued and newbies should be careful of buying it and expecting the price to keep increasing. I have also said MTN is overvalued, but I never ever attacked MTN as a company. I have said Dangote Flour is overvalued at the price Olam wants to buy, definitely something else is involved and because I don't know the full details it's a risk I am not interested in.

5. Still on negative things to say, I have also said the ASI of NSE will still be pressured downwards due to current economic realities and outlook. See 3a above.

6. Finally, I have quoted one more company I can't currently remember when someone brought it here to talk about and gave my opinion on why I thought it was overvalued.

GT bank? Stanbic? Zenith? Mobil? Total? Even the controversial Oando? What have I said about them?

So let's put everything in perspective - Diamond bank? Access bank? Unity bank? Dangote Flour? MTN being overvalued at current price? Transcorp being overvalued at 1.7 naira at the time? Nestle being a good business but also overvalued? All my opinions. Which I will always stand by.

My opinion about the NSE still going down? Still stands!

I am not always bullish, deal with it! Bearish or bullish I will make my money. I.e. diamond and Transcorp shorting.

Next time you want to come at me, please do so without lies. Thank you very much.

That I have MTN don't mean I should not talk about them.
And will not stop me from buying more MTN. Overall it remains a stock to buy.
Goodluck with that boss.

As for me? The only reason I see to buy MTN will be me basing it on the analogy that they will rise in price because other people will FOMO for no reason. Why else would I buy something that the dividend yield is still not up to Tbills yield, even though they pay out over 80% of profits as dividends? Lol!

"MTN Nigeria paid N123 as dividend per share(DPS) in 2017; N251 DPS in 2018 while in 2019, it is projected that the company will pay N8.8 dividend per share. The sharp drop in its dividend per share was as a result of increase in its shares in issue. Between 2016 and 2018, MTN Nigeria’s shares in issue were 407 million. The shares in issue were increased to 20.4 billion to allow more local individual and institutional investors benefit from the progress the company has made overtime in Nigeria.

How RMB Nigeria Stockbrokers arrived at N147 per share target price

The target price of MTN Nigeria is put at N147 per share with an overweight rating."
