When I saw those long back and forth arguments, I was surprised you were not among them, cos na the kind of thing you dey like be that. Lol. No mind me jare. My dear. Don't mind me, but don't worry our luff is stronger than her arrest mandate. Hehehehehehehe, about the arguments I was too. And it seems you are knowing me very well now. |

tritritri: There is always a media story whenever the index is down just to justify there claim.
Oil was at 50 last year ..now 70...even if at 50 we will scale through...Meanwhile what if after all d talk no recession dis year ?
Few months ago , The US and N.Korea talk..The media woudnt let people rest Dow fell to 22 ard JAN . wat happened ? it back to 26 now.
https://nairametrics.com/2019/04/05/nigeria-set-to-become-exporter-of-refined-crude-products-imf/
I was thinking ACCESS BANK would be back to 4 naira by now ....look at access trying to form bid.. I am not talking about the media, I am talking about the figures I just pointed out to you. Why are you ignoring it? You keep posting links on Dangote's refinery that hasn't happened yet. You and I know too much optimism is the enemy of any investor and it's the same in this scenario. |

https://nairametrics.com/2019/04/05/nigeria-set-to-become-exporter-of-refined-crude-products-imf/ I get your point, but if you remember correctly when this happened Naira to usd inched up from 358 to a dollar to 370 to a dollar. That is cause for worry friend. I get your stance though, but I have learnt when it comes to the financial market, you need to look at it like you are crossing the road, left, right then left again. I am simply saying study both sides and hedge accordingly. Both arguments have their pros and cons, both arguments could be wrong or right assuming one is right than the other is dangerous. |

tritritri: Our reserve at 43B will be able to help us through. Hope is never a strategy my brother. Nigeria spent 38 billion USD last year saving the naira. All it takes is a plunge in oil prices to allow the King Kong of recession and a great depression to f*uck Nigerians in the ass without lube. |

swilo: I still don't know where those guys came from. If they can just apply 10percent of their analysis skill to NSE then we all are in to make millions this year. They all know how to write long messages... They all have points... And yet Bubu is still the president.
The advice from a poor man will ALWAYS be ignored even if it will save the city
Market don open I honestly wouldn't mind those guys being here. Argue against their point or for it, those guys made logical sound argument. RabbiOracle and Rebekah too did, the thing is when it comes to the financial market there is no certainty, anything can happen. Time will tell though. So sad I wasn't around. |

yMcy56: Honestly. I dont worry about bear with such stock. See Nem, not even shedding price, only that patronage reduced and that's still better. So also Mansard, custodian and few other ones. Aiico's bids were more than offer today and it gained 1k. It is well. Thanks. My luff, seems you like insurance companies... |

swilo: Although GonFreecss1, IMO I dont expect capitulation without a bull, at least a mini bull. A few prices will need to be adjusted in readiness for the Q1 result release. Of great importance will be the first set of Q1 results to be released. These will determine if one needs to remain in the market or run for his/her life. There will always be corrections in both directions the market chooses to go. So I get your point. Whatever happens, there is a high probability there will be capitulation. I may be wrong, but that is what I can deduce. |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GonFreecss1: 3:05pm On Apr 08, 2019 |
aremso: oga mi which one be capitulation again oo i beggi put more fire for him head oo make i sabi the grammar wey u dey speak as this bear don make person head lock oo Lol. I no be Oga o... Capitulation is when investors morale is low from low prices/extended bear market and they give up/surrender entirely in the market and start dumping in excess. Volume will be increasing and prices will keep jumping down for a while. This is very different from what you are seeing now. When that time comes you will know. Lol! |

Coolcash1: don't be fooled. what you are seeing is purely P&'D....
I don't know how some investors reason anyway. Dem go queue to buy dry bone instead of them to buy meat (caverton) that is healthier, safer and better... The problem is people always forget that an increase in price is because other people are buying at a higher price. I don't know why people always forget this simple fact. So if you buy because the price is going up you are betting/speculating that there will be more people that won't do their research and will buy it at a higher price. This is the same thing that happened with Transcorp then, when I warned people to calm down. |

Mcy56: I just have to mention this: Africa Prudential is excellent in customer service. Saying this based on their responsiveness to mails, I'm doing quite a number of back and forth with them and they have been getting back to me on each mail. Also, their e-dividend form submission is very easy and smooth, you just fill, scan and send to them. I'm just impressed by the way they handle customers, reason for posting this. I like Afriprud too. A wonderful company. |
